AG Barr’s Testimony

Attorney General Bill Barr was questioned by the Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday. Below are some of the highlights.

Chairman Lindsey Graham opened the hearing by reading text messages between DOJ lovebirds Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.

Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) grilled Barr about his use of the term “spying.”

Senator Hirono used her time to sling mud from the gutter. She didn’t ask AG Barr any questions. She just ranted. I couldn’t get through all three plus minutes of her rant. Thankfully, Chairman Lindsey Graham shut her down with, “You have slandered this man from top to bottom. If you want more of this you’re not going to get it.”

How did we get to the point here where the evidence is now that the president was falsely accused of colluding with the Russians, and accused of being treasonous, and accused of being a Russian agent, and the evidence now is that was without a basis, and two years of his administration have been dominated by allegations that have now been proven false? And, you know, to listen to some of the rhetoric, you would think that the Mueller report had found the opposite.”
