The latest tidbits about Trump’s and the numerous Demi-nomi-wannabes’ campaigns.
TRUMP: Another Dem-ographic switching sides – “Latinos are finding their economic legs under the Trump administration, leading the surge in home ownership and income growth and record low poverty rates, according to two comprehensive new surveys,” Paul Bedard reports in the Washington Examiner.
Hispanics “have seen their third consecutive year of income growth and have a higher workplace participation rate . . . Within the next five years, Hispanic median income will triple,” according to the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals.
BIDEN: He’s in – Nooooooooooooooooooo … really?! I’m shocked. Shocked, I tell ya!
GREEN NEW DEAL: The candidates are all on board – Just one problem. It’s impossible. “Batteries are a lousy way to store energy,” says physicist Mark Mills, senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute.
Also, the ingredients of green energy, like battery packs, are far from green. “You have to consume 100 barrels of oil in China to make that battery pack,” he explains. “Dig up 1,000 pounds of stuff to process it. Digging is done with oil, by big machines, so we’re consuming energy to ‘save’ energy — not a good path to go.”
Nuclear is the way to go … but don’t try suggesting that to a Democratic nomi-wannabe! (Or AOC.) But more people have died falling off roofs while installing solar panels than have died from nuclear power plants.
The Green New Deal would rob the poor by raising energy costs, while giving money to wealthy people in the form of subsidies to buy $100,000 cars, to put expensive solar arrays on their roofs or to be investors in wind farms.
Gee, I wonder why elitist Democrats are all in favor of THAT?!
VOTER LAW: Democrats are coming out in opposition to a New Hampshire law barring college students from voting in New Hampshire elections if they still list their permanent residence in another state. In addition to Kamala Harris, Corey Booker, Kirsten Gillibrand, Elizabeth Warren have all claimed the law “disenfranchises” students.
That is just a Big Fat Lie. The law just restricts their ability to vote twice. If they choose to remain permanent residents of their parents’ state and cannot travel to their polling place for elections, they can request absentee ballots. They’re COLLEGE STUDENTS. This should not be such a big freaking deal. Sheesh.
BUTTIGIEG: Tucker hits a 10 on the sarcasm scale with his analysis of “Buddha Judge” and his faux victimhood.
“A Message to Mayor Pete From a Latina Mama: Don’t Force Your Sexual Ideology on Me and My Children” – Ana Samuel, Ph.D., a research scholar at the Witherspoon Institute and founder of the marriage movement CanaVox, warned 2020 Democratic presidential contender Pete Buttigieg that his homosexual ideology is dangerous to the nation and that she and millions of other Latina mothers with traditional family values will “be polite” towards gay activists but will also resist “policies that assault our values, harm our families, and hurt our children.”
