BETO: His charitable donation is running for office – In 2017, Beto and his wife had a combined income of $370,412. They donated $1,166 of that to charity. If I did the math right, that’s one-third of one percent. When asked about it, he said:
“I do my best to contribute to the success of my community, of my state, and now, of my country. There are ways that I do this that are measurable and there are ways that I do this that are immeasurable… I’m doing everything that I can right now, spending this time with you — not with our kiddos, not back home in El Paso — because I want to sacrifice everything to make sure that we meet this moment of truth with everything that we’ve got.”
In other words, Beto’s charitable contribution to the world is… Beto campaigning for president! Be still my heart.
BETO IS TOAST: Buttigieg is the Left’s new It Boy. But Bernie is the leader.
SANDERS FOR PRESIDENT: Sanders v. Trump would be an awesome for us —
He would give the Democrats ZERO identity issues to run on! He’d have to defend all their nutty, far left positions that the huge majority of Americans HATE.
Last month, Gallup had Trump at 39%; in the first week of April, he jumped to 45%. The increase is from Independents and Democrats changing sides. At Rasmussen, a Sanders v. Trump match up currently shows Sanders behind with 44%, Trump ahead at 47%, and 9% undecided.
Personally, I think 44% is the best Sanders could ever hope for; after campaigning seriously against The Donald, about 10 of those points would switch sides as real voters pondered the reality of President Socialism. IOW, Trump would win in a landslide of both popular and electoral votes.
AND all those states that have decided to give all their electoral votes to the national popular vote winner would have to give them to Trump … even if their own states voted for Bernie!
BERNIE: Socialism is for thee, not for me – Bernie Sanders has released 10 years of his tax returns. Turns out, he belongs to the “one percent” that Democrats (that would be his side) hate.
PULL MY FINGER: When asked why he didn’t voluntarily pay the massive new 52-percent “wealth tax” that he advocates imposing on the nation’s richest individuals, he said, “Pfft, come on. I paid the taxes that I owe.”
Then he asked the interviewer why she had not donated more-than-owed. She responded, “I didn’t suggest a wealth tax.”
CHEAPSKATE: Bernie’s taxes also show that, despite making a ton of money off his book, he donated very little to charity.
Meanwhile, President Trump has been donating his $100,000 quarterly presidential earnings to various government programs that need the extra money.
BOOKER: Flip flopping on immigration — “Beware of anybody who is trying to make you afraid.” – Corey Booker.
Okay. I’m afraid to wear my MAGA hat in public. Let’s start there.
