CONFESSION: Are you ready to meet your Maker?

TISSUE ALERT: Middle schoolers befriend young boy with autism at skate park.

GOSNELL at the WHITE HOUSE! – Woohoo!

EWTN: “Gosnell” Producer Ann McElhinney on Film’s Release – Some members of the left have condemned it as being gory and inaccurate about abortion. Neither is true. It’s a courtroom drama with a rating of PG-13.

INFANTICIDE: The judge in the Kermit Gosnell murder trial dropped three charges against the abortion practitioner for snipping the necks of live-born who had survived their abortions. Republicans in the House have tried more than 30 times to get the Democrat majority to allow a vote on a law that would require such babies be treated with the same care they would get if they had been born prematurely. Democrats claim that the law is “unnecessary” because “infanticide is illegal in every state.” Clearly, it’s not.

OHIO: Heartbeat law signed – Gov. Mike DeWine, R-OH, signed into law the “heartbeat bill” which would ban abortions after a heartbeat can be detected. Five other states have heartbeat bills, with two blocked by courts.

The new law makes it a fifth-degree felony offense in Ohio to induce or perform an abortion after the detection of a fetal heartbeat, except in a case of medical emergency. In addition, a doctor who performs an abortion could face sanctions and fines by the State Medical Board of Ohio, including the suspension of their medical license.

VP PENCE at the UN: Vice President Mike Pence traveled to New York City to represent President Donald J. Trump and the United States before a Special Session of the United Nations Security Council on the crisis in Venezuela.

Maduro’s socialist dictatorship has turned Venezuela, once one of the wealthiest countries in the Western Hemisphere, into a tragic scene of deprivation. The economy has shrunk by nearly half, leaving 9 out of 10 Venezuelans in poverty. The average citizen there has lost more than 20 pounds from malnutrition, including thousands of children who continue to face starvation.

In the midst of this suffering, Maduro has lent no helping hand—just the opposite. When America and its allies sent crucial aid to Venezuela’s people, Maduro’s henchmen blocked and literally burned it, committing violence against any who opposed them. In just 3 months, the regime has thrown more than 1,200 people in jail without due process. At least 40 protesters have been killed.

MAD MAXINE: Was she trying to get Trump’s Secretary of the Treasury to leave before she’d banged the gavel? – I wouldn’t put it past her to do that, then do one of her spewing rants in front of the lapdog media about how RUDE it was for him to do that.

ASSANGE ARRESTED: WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange was arrested after Ecuadorian officials evicted the Australian native from their London embassy. Assange had been living in the diplomatic compound for nearly seven years; initially, the Ecudadorans shielded him from extradition to Sweden, where he was wanted on sexual assault charges. After Swedish authorities dropped the case, Assange stayed inside the embassy out of fear of extradition to the United States, where federal authorities have long investigated him for espionage.

TRUMP ECONOMY: Filings for unemployment benefits decreased to 196,000, falling to the lowest level in 49 years. “Employers are adding jobs at a pace that is well above the natural growth rate of the labor force and job openings continue to exceed the number of job seekers,” economist Eliza Winger told Bloomberg.

AVENATTI: More indictments – A federal grand jury in Los Angeles indicted celebrity lawyer Michael Avenatti with 10 counts of wire fraud, 19 tax-related charges, two counts of bank fraud, and four bankruptcy fraud charges, and embezzlement charges.

The most heartbreaking account comes from Client 1, who is mentally ill and “became a paraplegic as a result of the [Los Angeles] county violating his constitutional rights.” The DOJ wrote that LA county gave the man a $4 million settlement in January 2015, but Avenatti kept it from him to use “portions of the settlement to finance his coffee business or pay personal expenses.” They allege “Avenatti concealed the receipt of the settlement from Client 1 and instead gave him periodic ‘advances’ of no more than $1,900 and paid the rent for his assisted living facility, according to the indictment.”

TRUMP’S GIFT TO SANCTUARY CITIES: Nancy Pelosi said illegals make communities better and safer. She should want them sleeping on her couch. But being the flaming hypocrite she is, she lives behind walls with armed security guards. And she called Trump’s suggest to bus the overflow to sanctuary cities “despicable.”

The extent of this Administration’s cynicism and cruelty cannot be overstated,” Pelosi spokeswoman Ashley Etienne said in a statement Friday. “Using human beings—including little children—as pawns in their warped game to perpetuate fear and demonize immigrants is despicable, and in some cases, criminal.”

Hmmm … “using human beings as pawns” … PROJECT MUCH, NANCY?

media malpractice

BORDER: Media malpractice – Months after repeatedly dismissing and mocking President Trump’s claim of a national emergency, the mainstream media is finally grappling with the reality of the major crisis at our southern border.

February 2019: Customs and Border Protection (CBP) apprehended more than 76,000 people illegally crossing the border in February. This was an 11-year-high that put a strain on the border patrol resources.

  • New York Times fact-checker of Trump’s State of the Union speech tweeted, “President Trump described illegal border crossings as an ‘urgent national crisis.’ This is false.”
  • Washington Post editorial board said, “There is no crisis” at the border and called Trump’s national emergency declaration “untethered from truth and reality” and a “make-believe emergency.”

March 2019: CBP apprehended more than 100,000 people illegally crossing the border in March. This is 25% more than the 11-year high of the previous month.

  • New York Times headline, “The U.S. Immigration System May Have Reached a Breaking Point.”
  • Washington Post writes, “U.S. has hit ‘breaking point’ at border amid immigration surge, Customs and Border Protection chief says.”

MASSACHUSETTS: Massachusetts governor Charlie Baker signed into law Monday a broadly worded bill banning therapy for minors with same-sex attraction that seeks to change their behavior. I wonder what happens if the minor wants to change. Are therapists (including Christian ones) required to reassure them that same-sex sex is “normal”?

SPAIN: Madrid, Spain – Bishop Juan Antonio Reig Pla has called on bishops and priests to be ready for martyrdom while the government pursues a probe into alleged illegal “conversion therapy” for homosexuals that it says is offered by the Catholic Church.

NEW YORK SUCKS: Democrats show their true colors – And they are NOT “red, white, and blue”! A week after approving a state budget that included $27 million in college tuition aid for illegal immigrants, New York Assembly Democrats voted down a bill that proposed expanding college tuition aid for children of deceased and disabled military veterans.

  1. Trump tweets, 24 hours ago:
Due to the fact that Democrats are unwilling to change our very dangerous immigration laws, we are indeed, as reported, giving strong considerations to placing Illegal Immigrants in Sanctuary Cities only. The Radical Left always seems to have an Open Borders, Open Arms policy – so this should make them very happy!

    Shortly thereafter:
The ninth circuit issued a stay on the judge’s order that he couldn’t send asylum seekers back to Mexico to wait for a ruling. Now he can.
