VIDEOS ABOVE: These are clips from the speech Trump gave in Lima, Ohio’s tank manufacturing facility. I’m seeing sharp criticism from both sides of the aisle for his remarks about McCain.
But I loved what he said. The fake dossier is in the news now and McCain was one of the scum who helped push it on the FBI. Just because he’s dead shouldn’t give him a pass.
As for his somehow sacred status as a former POW, McCain’s own behaviors have convinced me that the POWs who say “Songbird John” was a traitor were telling the truth. One Vietnam vet says this:
“Evidence of McCain’s special treatment by the North Vietnamese is the fact that upon release from capture, McCain was cheerful and in good, robust health, showing no signs of the starvation and abuse routinely suffered by his fellow POWs, who, in comparison to McCain, were very weak and emaciated upon release.”
Here are a few MORE examples of RINO John McCain’s behavior that speak volumes about his true character … and it is not one that deserves words like “hero” or “patriot.”
- He campaigned for ages on overturning Obamacare, but then when he had the chance to cast the DECIDING VOTE to actually do it, he voted with the Democrats to kill the bill. THEN, to add insult to injury, he high-fived Chuck Schumer!
- He went to the Munich Security Conference and told the world he thought the Trump administration was “in disarray.”
- In addition to asking a former Democrat to give his eulogy, he dictated that President and Mrs. Trump were NOT welcome to even attend his funeral.
Did President Trump deserve the disrespect Songbird John showed him in life and even after death? NO! He authorized the use of Air Force 2 to transport McCain’s remains to D.C. AF2 is often designated for the VP or First Lady’s travel.
“At the request of the McCain family, I have also authorized military transportation of Senator McCain’s remains from Arizona to Washington, D.C., military pallbearers and band support, and a horse and caisson transport during the service at the United States Naval Academy.” – President Trump
