MASCOTS: Mama Buzz just sent me a text exchange she had with a neighbor who asked her to get some milk while she was at the store.
- MB: “Organic? Non-organic? Should the cows have been sung to?”
- N: “I only drink milk from cows that have been milked with organic cotton microfiber gloves!”
- MB: “I don’t blame you. The silicone gloves leave a nasty aftertaste. And if the cows woke up on the wrong side of the barn, forget it!”
- N: “Preach it sista!”
SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT: A friend of mine just mentioned something I’ve never noticed before. When the four paralytic’s friends dug a hole in the roof above Jesus, it was probably at the home where Jesus was living!
When Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, he withdrew to Galilee. Leaving Nazareth, he went and lived in Capernaum. – Matthew 4:12-13
When Jesus again entered Capernaum, the people heard that he had come home. They gathered in such large numbers that there was no room left, not even outside the door, and he preached the word to them.
Some men came, bringing to him a paralyzed man, carried by four of them. Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus by digging through it and then lowered the mat the man was lying on.
When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” – Mark 2:2-5

LIZ CHENEY on NBC: Wow! She really laid it all out there and, most surprisingly, Chuck Todd LET her!
MUSLIM-AMERICAN CONVENTION: This Jewish-American woman was thrown out of the building.
PRAY FOR VENEZUELANS: According to Marco Rubio, “The crisis inside the country has taken a rapid & catastrophic turn over the last 72 hours. As bad as the humanitarian crisis was before, since Thursday it has become increasingly horrific.”
KAMALA: Newspeak – “We can change human behaviors.”
Translation: “We will force you to do what WE want.”
MEDIA BIAS: Remember that these people actually WEPT ON CAMERA when they realized Hillary had lost the election!
WORD NERD: Newspeak n., often capitalized (NOO-speek) – Propagandistic language marked by euphemism, circumlocution, and the inversion of customary meanings.
The term was coined by George Orwell in his anti-utopian novel 1984. Newspeak was a language favored by the minions of Big Brother; it was “designed to diminish the range of thought.”
Newspeak was characterized by the elimination or alteration of certain words, the substitution of one word for another, the interchangeability of parts of speech, and the creation of words for political purposes.
STAFF IS ARMED: North Carolina state legislators introduced a bill that would give trained public school teachers who carry weapons a 5 percent raise. The effort by Republicans in the state Senate is aimed at teachers who have basic police training and are called in the bill “teacher resource officers,” who would be allowed to carry firearms on school premises both openly and concealed and would have greatly expanded citizen arrest powers, similar to police officers.
NO PORN: Many of the actresses that porn users are watching are dead – “There is another reason not to look at pornography: Simple compassion for the women and girls who get chewed up by the industry and then abandoned. Even Miriam Weeks—also known Belle Knox, the “Duke University Porn Star”—who once described porn as “freeing and empowering and the way the world should be” in an interview with CNN, later admitted in interviews that the porn industry had ruined her life.”
“Once [the performers] are in the industry, they have high rates of substance abuse, typically alcohol and cocaine, depression, borderline personality disorder,” noted researcher Dr. Mary Anne Layden, an expert on the porn industry.
“The experience I find most common among performers is that they have to be drunk, high, or disassociated to go to work. Their work environment is particularly toxic…The terrible work life of the pornography performer is often followed by an equally terrible home life. They have an increased risk of sexually transmitted disease (including HIV), domestic violence, and have about a 25% chance of making a marriage that lasts as long as three years.”
