abortion survivor obama toon

  1. During the recent SOTU, President Trump called for a ban on late-term abortions. The great majority of Democrats stayed in their seats, scowling. A few applauded. One lone Democrat, Joe Manchin, stood with Republican lawmakers and applauded vigorously.
  2. Congressional Democrats have blocked FOUR recent attempts by Republicans to call a vote on a bill that would provide medical care and treatment for babies who survived failed abortions — three times in the House and once in the Senate. For Democrats, the appropriate response to a failed abortion is to put the wet, naked baby into a waste bucket and let it die.

“How many pastors condemn Donald Trump but remain silent on abortion? If Trump is more vocal than your pastor on the issue of abortion, you don’t need a new president. You need a new pastor.” – Mike Adams

“An ex-girlfriend of mine had an abortion. It had a traumatic effect on me, this is why I’m now pro-life.” ~ Filmmaker Nick Loeb

Fathers are as important

FATHER SUES: A heartbroken Alabama father is suing an abortion facility where his former girlfriend aborted their unborn baby against his wishes.

SCOTUS: The Supreme Court voted 5-4 to block a Louisiana law from taking effect. The law would have required abortionists to have admitting privileges at a hospital. Chief Justice John Roberts voted with the Court’s four liberals to block the law. Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh voted to allow the law to go into effect. This is only a stay pending appeal, not an ultimate disposition of the case. The Supreme Court could examine the case next fall. The Supreme Court struck down a similar Texas law three years ago.

IOWA: Pro-life lawmakers in the Iowa legislature are rallying around a proposed constitutional amendment that would assert there is no “right” to abortion in the state constitution, limiting judges’ ability to thwart pro-life state laws. A Senate subcommittee voted 2-1 Wednesday to advance the amendment.

MASSACHUSETTS: Democrats are pushing a sweeping bill to allow more third-trimester abortions, meaning the commonwealth would join New York in having some of the loosest restrictions in the country. The bill would give doctors much more latitude in deciding to conduct abortions and would delete the section in current Massachusetts law that requires doctors to “take all reasonable steps … to preserve the life and health of the aborted child,” including having life-supporting equipment in the room. It would also repeal existing law that requires a minor to get her parents’ consent before an abortion.

MISSISSIPPI: Republicans have introduced a bill banning abortions on babies with beating hearts, except in cases of “medical emergency.”

NEW YORK: The allegedly Catholic Governor Cuomo claimed that those who oppose the heinous pro-abortion bill he signed were far right religious extremists. Cardinal Dolan countered:

“He did not consider me part of the ‘religious right’ when seeking my help with the minimum wage increase, prison reform, protection of migrant workers, a welcome of immigrants and refugees, and advocacy for college programs for the state’s inmate population, which we were happy to partner with him on, because they were our causes too. I guess I was part of the ‘religious left’ in those cases.”

VERMONT: The Vermont State House Committee on Human Services has approved a radical pro-abortion bill Thursday to keep abortions legal and unrestricted up to birth in the state. It now moves to the Judiciary Committee for consideration. The bill is similar to the law that New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed in January. It would recognize abortion as a “fundamental human right” and ensure that the government does not deny, restrict or infringe upon a woman’s “right” to abort her unborn baby.
