CNN’s Jim Acosta Singlehandedly Sinks the Cause of a Free Press

What’s more, Acosta harmed the cause of freedom of the press by doing something so obviously self-aggrandizing and unprofessional. The free press, which is essential to the functioning of a democracy, is already in disrepute with the American people for its overt bias. Acosta Wednesday did more damage, creating a viral video clip showcasing press bias and unprofessionalism that will be rerun for years.

BUT HAVE YOU SEEN THIS?

African-American PBS Reporter Calls Trump a White Nationalist — Trump Calls Her a Racist!!

PBS reporter Yamiche Alcindor accused President Trump of being the leader of the White Nationalist party on Wednesday.

  • Yamiche Aldindor: On the campaign trail you called yourself a nationalist. Some people saw it as emboldening white nationalists.
  • President Trump: I don’t know why you are saying that. Such a racist…
  • Yamiche Alcindor: There are some people that say now the Republican Party is seen as supporting white nationalists because of your rhetoric. What do you think of that.
  • President Trump: Why do I have the highest numbers with African Americans… You’re a racist.

And THAT is exactly what the liberal insane media thinks of Republican voters.

“There are some people that say now the Republican Party is seen as supporting white nationalists because of your rhetoric.”

For “some people” read, “Me and my cronies.”

I’m sorry Mia Love didn’t want Trump to campaign for her. I’ve liked what I’ve seen of her until now.

    • Mia Love is the poster child for “folks who ran as Tea Party but turned RINO once elected.” We put our hopes especially on pretty young ethnic conservatives because they help confirm that the GOP is about universal principles, and not really the old racist white guy party. She chose badly.

“She didn’t show any love for me.” -Trump 😆

I’m sad about that. I only saw a couple of short videos, probably campaign ads.

        • Yeah, Mia sounded good at the start. Really makes me wonder how folks can seem to have the talk down so well, but when it comes time to walk the walk, they abandon the path. So many folks did that, too! Might be stupidity, seems like sheer duplicity. I pray the days of say whatever to get elected then do otherwise are coming to an end in the I Can See You Internet age.

Folks like Mia are why I’ve still got a “?” by Candace, although she had continued to say the right things so far. I suppose. I kind-of quit following her.

Politics is such funny business. Sometimes haha funny, ususally just peculiar-funny.

You & I had been discussing Kanye & politics. Right after Kanye’s “I got used” tweets, I saw folks whining that he’d given money to a Democrat – a candidate for mayor of Chicago IIRC. “Oh, see, Kanye’s not #Blexit after all.” No, he never was.

Others mentioned the candidate was a friend of Kanye’s. (And honestly, in Chicago, you know, there is no GOP to speak of, the Dem’s gonna be mayor – even Milady and I were registered Dem when we lived there. It’s like reverse Oklahoma.) So, I can see that.

Kanye never said, I’m #Blexiting and eveyone should vote GOP! He just had some pet issues he wanted to use his fame (and association with the President) to shine a light on, and got his toes caught in the bear-trap of party politics. (BTW, via Candace, it seems.)

His appreciation for Trump seems genuine and undiminished. So, that’s nice.

Just wanted to add that follow-up to our earlier conversation about him.

IOW, Trump puts America first which, DUH, is what we WANT from our president and one of the many things Obama did NOT do that enraged us.

Acosta has been trying to get his credentials pulled for ages. He is going to milk the “poor me” for all it’s worth.

“We try to be professionals.” Uhhhhhhhh suuuuuuuuuuuuure you do. I notice their self-aggrandizing “news” report stopped the clip BEFORE the incident Acosta claims never happened.

The video is here. I think it’s very unclear what force he used when he touched the woman. It is abundantly clear that he refused to surrender the floor and the mike when instructed to do so.
