Bits & Bytes

Clinton tried to pass Hillarycare. Obama did pass Obamacare. Trump lowered our taxes and kicked off an economic boom, while reining in or reversing Obama’s abuses. But if you listen to Democrats, their “blue wave” didn’t materialize because white people are evil. Or something.

TUCKER AT HIS BEST: The entire Democratic platform can be summed up in a sentence: “Trump is a bad person.” Never mind health care or infrastructure or the opioid crisis. “Get Trump’s tax returns.” “Get Kavanaugh.” “Intensify the Russia probe.” “It’s all just noise.” “Nobody outside Washington cares.” WORTH WATCHING.

BRING IT: “If the Democrats think they are going to waste Taxpayer Money investigating us at the House level, then we will likewise be forced to consider investigating them for all of the leaks of Classified Information, and much else, at the Senate level. Two can play that game!” – Trump

SARAH SANDERS: “Contrary to CNN’s assertions there is no greater demonstration of the President’s support for a free press than the event he held today. Only they would attack the President for not supporting a free press in the midst of him taking 68 questions from 35 different reporters over the course of 1.5 hours including several from the reporter in question. The fact that CNN is proud of the way their employee behaved is … disgusting.”

THE NOT-SO-HIDDEN ASSUMPTION: D’Souza: Trump Exposes Acosta as ‘Emotional Infant’

THE LEFT SUCKS: While Acosta, who refused to give up his mic when POTUS told him to, plays the martyr about losing his White House credentials, a Leftist Antifa mob stood outside Fox’s Tucker Carlson’s home shouting “racist scumbag leave town” and “we know where you sleep at night, we will fight.” Carlson has 4 children.

RUDE MEDIA: What is wrong with these people? Jim Acosta claims they’re “professionals” and they behave “professionally.” No. It’s clear they aren’t and they don’t. They’re not just rude to the president; they are rude to EACH OTHER.

CARAVAN: “Mexico launched a ‘Make Yourself at Home’ program, offering migrants shelter, food, work and schools for their kids. Most turned it down,” Betsy McCaughey in the “U.S. Has Every Reason to Turn the Caravan Away (New York Post, Nov 5, 2018). The reality is that most migrants in the caravan headed toward America’s border are in search of a lifestyle upgrade, not fleeing genuine violence or persecution.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED BEFORE ACOSTA REFUSED TO GIVE UP THE MIC: Acosta got to ask his question AT LENGTH. And the president answered him. Period. The room was full of other reporters. Acosta even stood up and started talking again after another reporter was called on and was asking his question! Jimbo is way past needing a punitive Time Out.

ENDING SESSIONS’ SESSION: Attorney General Jeff Sessions resigned at the request of President Donald Trump on Wednesday, a move that potentially threatens the independence of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into the president.

You gotta admire Trump’s timing in pushing Sessions out just when the Deep State and Democrats were having a grand old time celebrating gaining control of the House and plotting what to do with it.

Acting Attorney General, Matthew Whitaker, a Trump loyalist, is expected to take over the Mueller probe. According to reports, Rod Rosenstein will remain as Deputy Attorney General for now.

2018_11 07 Holder

HOLDER’S HEAD EXPLODES: He is NOT HAPPY about losing the tame Jeff Sessions. But what a colossal nerve to talk about the rule of law and not doing things to benefit one man. Tweeters had fun giving him a few reality checks. Here are two goodies:

You were held in contempt of Congress for obstructing investigations into your illegal scheme to run guns to Mexican drug cartels, one of which ended up being used to murder an American border patrol agent.

The president can fire those under his authority, as you well know, Eric. What is illegal is using the FBI to spy on your political opposition and paying for opposition research with Russians through a shady law firm. But I’m sure you know all about that.

And my top favorite:

He’s nervous that the police-state Obama administration is going to be exposed.

SIXTEEN SCANDALS: The Legacy of Eric Holder

OBAMACARE: The Trump administration issued a new rule designed to protect Americans from being forced to pay for abortions under Obamacare. The president also issued final rules that will protect pro-life and religious groups like Little Sisters of the Poor from being forced to pay for abortions.

FIRST FEMALE TN SENATOR: And she’s a conservative! Marsha Blackburn won the open Tennessee seat. She promises to continue to be a fierce opponent of the abortion industry and a champion for unborn babies and moms. The eight-term congresswoman is well-known for having lead the U.S. House investigation of the abortion industry’s alleged sales of aborted baby body parts.

BLEXIT: “They’re not going to put me in my place.”

2018_11 08 Socialism boat

OCCASIONAL CORTEX: “How are you going to pay for it?” “It” being the estimated $40 trillion in big government programs she says we need. Her answer? “You don’t pay at the point of service.” New York City-ers voted her into office. I bet that, like the Venezuelan dude who is now selling stuff out of a bucket at stop lights in another country. He said he voted for socialism, because free housing and free health care and free college all sounded great. Then he saw what it did to the economy of his once prosperous nation.

Lindsey Graham Version 2.0

His transformation has been shocking since his lord and master Juan McAmnesty assumed room temperature.

CtH: Do you suppose McCain had something on him?

Lindsey Graham Rips WH Press Corp: ‘Allies Of Democratic Party’

“It’s apparent to me the White House press corps lives in a bubble, and the way they are conducting themselves today will do NOTHING to improve their standing with the American people,” Graham tweeted.

Graham also rejected the president’s use of the phrase “enemy of the people” to describe the press, instead dubbing them the “Allies of the Democratic Party.”

Them Wimmins Needs Ta Learn!

White women need accountability and ‘a lot of learning’ after failing to vote uniformly for left-wing candidates.

Jamele Hill is an insufferable racist tramp who called Trump a “white supremacist” while she was infesting ESPN. She never got punished for it. (Surprised?) Now she works for the Atlantic Magazine.

With losses by Beto O’Rourke, Stacey Abrams, and Andrew Gillum, progressives and feminists were looking to explain why far left candidates have so much trouble winning elections. The conclusion some of them reached: White women aren’t voting for their interests and are instead supporting the patriarchy.

There’s also the question of what “White women gonna white” is supposed to mean in the tweet they RTd? If you look at the numbers, it seems it was black women who voted uniformly as a block. White women split their vote, almost evenly in the case of DeSantis.

So the problem here isn’t that white women voted too much the same, it’s that they didn’t do it enough. I.e., one uniform block supporting progressives. Maybe that’s because some women see things, I don’t know, differently?

Bring It On!

2019_08 31 Trump tweet toon

In 2010, Obama’s first midterm election season, Democrats lost 6 seats in the Senate, despite the grossly left biased media and the massive amount of outside money and fawning media attention given to Cruz’s opponent.

I think it’s amazingly good news is that, despite the massively negative media we endured (and the pattern of the incumbent president losing the majority in the midterms), we gained seats in the Senate, something that’s only been done four times before in history.

We also got rid of four Dem PITA senators: McCaskill, Heitkamp, Nelson, and Donnelly.

So yeah, we lost the House, BUT the long-term gains in the judiciary will be spectacular, especially if another leftist drops dead or retires before 2020. Also, despite Cruz’s slim margin, GOP Gov. Greg Abbott defeated his Democrat challenger by more than 14 points.

And I’m not convinced losing the House will be a negative in the long run. It ensures the next two years will be filled with Democrat sound and fury as they attempt to kill the Trump Economy and get Donald J. out of office.

BUT, Trump is no George W. or Mitt R. He’s a junk yard dog. A street fighter who relishes the battles ahead. I think it’s going to be downright entertaining!

Catholic Vote says, “It may sound counterintuitive, but a narrow Democratic House gives President Trump a perfect foil, and likely increases his chances at reelection in 2020 (as it did for both Barack Obama and President Clinton). Unlike previous Republicans presidents, Trump won’t be shy about pursuing his agenda. But if Pelosi and Democrats continue to play the resistance game with an unending series of political witch-hunts, voters will punish them severely in two years.”

The Dems badly miscalculated with their viciousness toward Brett Kavanaugh. In fact, the only vulnerable Democrat senator who kept his seat was the one who told Dem brass to take a hike and voted FOR Kavanaugh.

Also, we won critical governorships in Ohio, Iowa, Georgia, and Florida and polls show a higher distrust for media than for Republicans.

Add these to things like #WalkAway and #Blexit whose videos are full of people fed up with Democrat lies and Democrat bile, and the fact that Dems appear to be bent on using their House majority to spew more of the same all over us for the next two years.

I say, “Bring it on!”

Be Careful What You Wish For

Jerrold ‘Nadless’ Nadler has lost some weight, but a pig is still a pig.

Incoming Democrat Chairman: Dems Will Go ‘All-In’ On Russia, Impeach Kavanaugh For ‘Perjury’

Nadler said Russia investigations would be under a broad umbrella of holding Trump “accountable,” since it’s a more palatable argument than impeachment, that they would be going “all-in,” and much of what they get to would be “depending on what [special counsel Robert] Mueller finds.” Still, he said the Judiciary Committee would only be in a supportive role to Rep. Adam Schiff and the Intelligence Committee, which has “a way ahead start on that.” Still, he said Judiciary “will have a role” in the Russia investigations.

The Walking Brain Dead

Stupid Burns

The Senate results were allegedly unfair to Democrats, because they won the “Senate popular vote.”

CtH: There is no such thing as a “Senate popular vote.” It’s like the World Series. The trophy goes to the team that won the most games, not the team that scored the most runs in all the games. Sheesh.

THERE IS NO JOY IN HACKVILLE (I just made that up … my original thought for this year.)

Behar Blames ‘Gerrymandering’ for GOP Senate Wins in Midterms

ABC’s Matt Dowd: ‘That’s the Constitution’

While Behar blamed a Democratic minority on gerrymandering, the process has nothing to do with the election or distribution of senators. Gerrymandering is the manner in which congressional districts are drawn to favor one political party or candidate. Senators are elected at the state level, so state lines determine electors, not congressional districts.

Trump Has Sharp Response To Question About Oprah

A reporter’s sarcastic question about President Trump’s relationship with Oprah was met with a sharp response during a lengthy Wednesday afternoon press conference at the White House.

“The governors’ races were incredible. Against well-funded and talented and skilled Democrat candidates, and people that worked very, very hard — respectfully, for those candidates like Oprah, who[m] I don’t know if she likes me anymore, but that’s okay. She used to,” Trump joked

“I was tempted to ask you why you like Oprah so much,” the reporter started, “but I think that I will go on to the question … ”

“Why do I like Oprah?” The president interjected. “What kind of question is that? “

“Just curious,” the reporter responded.

“There is a comedian here,” Trump said. “I do like Oprah, by the way. I do. She was a person that I knew well. Came to my place in Palm Beach [Florida] often. And I have a lot of respect for her. Unfortunately, she didn’t do the trick.”

This Old Snappin’ Turtle Bites!

Mitch McConnell sends WARNING to House Democrats about ‘presidential harassment’

Mitch McConnell just held a press conference this morning and issued a warning to Democrats about ‘presidential harassment’.

I started to title this post “Mitch McConnell to House Democrats: PLEASE HARASS THE PRESIDENT”, because that’s essentially what he’s saying here. He knows they’ve got 2020 ahead of them in just two years and if history is any indication, their harassment will make Trump more popular and they could lose seats in the House and potentially cede the majority back to Republicans.
