#WALKAWAY: Thousands of formerly liberal Americans descended on the District of Columbia Saturday to take part in the #WalkAway Campaign’s first march on Washington to declare their independence from the Democrat Party. The #WalkAway Campaign argues that the modern Left, and the party with which it aligns, have abandoned principles such as tolerance, equality, and open discussion that attracted people there in the first place.

BUILD THE WALL: There are currently FOUR DIFFERENT CARAVANS working their way to the southern US border through Central America and Mexico.

INVASION: “The so-called migrant caravan that’s slowly making its way to the U.S. from Central America is many things to many people. But one thing seems pretty certain: it’s not about seeking ‘asylum,’ or ‘refugee status.’ It’s about getting to the United States at all costs. It’s time we take our border seriously, or we’ll end up like those countries in Europe and the Mideast who find their nations no longer governable.” Investor’s Business Daily editorial “Migrant Caravan: A Foreign-Financed, Leftist-Led Violation Of U.S. Sovereignty”

NO’ MO’ ANCHOR BABIES: In 1993, Sen. Harry Reid (the leader of the Senate Democrats from 2005 to 2017 and as the Senate Majority Leader from 2007 to 2015) introduced the “Immigration Stabilization Act of 1993” which would have denied U.S. citizenship to babies born here to illegal aliens. He decried the practice, because it offered an “incentive for pregnant alien women to enter the United States illegally, often at risk to mother and child, for the purpose of acquiring citizenship for the child and accompanying federal financial benefits.” Today’s Democrats are OUTRAGED that President Trump is considering using an Executive Order to accomplish the same thing at least temporarily.

TRUMP ECONOMY: “In 2016, President Barack Obama said then-candidate Donald Trump would need a magic wand to deliver on his promise to bring back manufacturing. Turns out, Trump didn’t need a magic wand — all he needed was tax reform,” Abigail Marone writes in the Washington Examiner. “Since President Trump signed the tax cuts, manufacturing has been booming. At least 100 manufacturers have built new facilities, purchased new equipment, hired new employees, and invested in current employees through bonuses and benefit increases.”

ARIZONA: Project Veritas caught a whole lot of truth about Arizona Democrat Senate candidate Kyrsten Sinema is REALLY all about.

ASSASSINATION: James Joseph ‘Whitey’ Bulger Jr, 89, was killed in prison overnight on Tuesday. He was reportedly beaten with a lock in a sock and had his eyes partly gouged. Sources told that Bulger was about to dish on FBI informant program.

GOSNELL: Despite considerable obstacles, the movie Gosnell was still chugging along at the box office. The movie about abortionist Kermit Gosnell has taken in an estimated $3.2 million and was on 467 screens across the country on Sunday.

TISSUE ALERT: Gosnell Producer Ann McElhinney reads a letter from Diane, a grandmother, who watched the movie little realizing that it would very suddenly and very tragically become relevant to her life.

  1. Hi. Good report.

Ann McElhinney link needs an h at the beginning.

Things that make me go “hmmm”:

Kanye To ‘Distance’ Himself From Politics:
‘I’ve Been Used To Spread Messages I Don’t Believe In’

…Kanye confirmed to TMZ that his tweets were in reference to Blexit, and emphasized that he did not mention President Donald Trump at all.…

“I introduced Candace to the person who made the logo and they didn’t want their name on it so she used mine. I never wanted any association with Blexit. I have nothing to do with it,” he stated.…

TY for headsup. I fixed the typo.

I saw that bit about Kanye. His statement that he was going to stop talking about politics and concentrate on his art made me think he couldn’t take the heat the “tolerant” Lefties dumped on him. Coward. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Candace Owens had TOLD him what would happen and he was sure it wouldn’t happen to HIM.

I wrote in more detail in a comment on the next thread. There, Pete imagined Kanye’s being blackshamed and financially motivated, and, here, you’ve wondered if he suffered from unexpected heat and fear – could be – but your speculations just don’t seem to synch up with anything I’ve read from him. As I’ve said, maybe I’m just missing something?

My suspicions-meter still twitches with Candace. I’ve actually been anticipating her flipping back sooner than Kanye. It’s what she hasn’t addressed about her past more than the seemingly perfect things she says and does now. This deal with Kanye’s popularity is actually in line with her alleged mercenary persona.

I have no particular interest in Kanye the arteest. Couldn’t tell you anything he ever sang or played or acted or scored or whatever he does. Seemed to have decent motivations and a real appreciation of Trump, and still does. I mostly find the whole spectacle just one more distracting laser dot for the media to chase while Trump acts.

I don’t pretend to know Kanye’s secret hidden thoughts and motives. He seems to me never to have been that “political” as he just wants to help publicize his stated issues of interest, Blexit was not one, and he didn’t like being drawn into that, so he said. I can see it would sting more to face something underhanded by a supposed ally like Owens than all the poison of his inimical critics.

Makes sense. I was just spitballing, not working off any actual information cuz I wasn’t and haven’t paid much attention. Ty for your thoughtful insights. 🙂

      • Oh, argh. Sorry. Last comment I once again imbedded a whole playlist when I just meant to embed the one video. I see now what WordPress does. Always resets playlist links to the first item in the list. Stupid.
