HURRAH!! After more than two years of wrongful detainment in Turkey on charges of “Christianization”, American Pastor Andrew Brunson has been released and will be coming home soon.

WARRIOR MOM: You have to go here to see the video of the hellacious hail storm and photos of the mom!

AWESOME COME BACK: A protester shamelessly demands that GOP Senator Bill Cassidy “apologize to my children for ruining their futures.” His response was to say to the kids in a very calm and polite voice, “Your parents are using you as tools. In the future if somebody makes an allegation against you & there’s no proof for it, you’ll be OK.” The kids looked embarrassed, but the idiot mom just kept on shouting at Cassidy as he walked away that his vote had ruined her daughter’s life. I guess we won’t be seeing any #WalkAway videos from her any time soon.

FACEBOOK PURGE: Four weeks before the midterms, Facebook has abruptly taken down numerous pages that allegedly violated their “spam” and coordinated “inauthentic behavior” policies. Most of them were conservative political sites.

COMMUNIST PARTY: The actual Communist Party of the USA is actively campaigning for Democrats. “We are involved in two states where a Republican seat can be flipped: AZ (Flake open), TX (Cruz), and five states where a Democratic seat needs protection against being lost: FL (Nelson), IN (Donnelly), MO (McCaskill), NJ (Menendez).”

SCOTUS: The Supreme Court HAS declined to intervene in a challenge to a North Dakota law that requires voters to present identification that includes a current residential street address.

S’ABOUT DAMN TIME: According to the U.S. State Department in a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee, Hillary Clinton and five others close to her no longer have security clearances. I fail to understand how anyone leaves government service without having their clearances revoked. Do they get to keep their building passes? Keys to their offices? Parking spots? Sheesh.

THREE DECADES TOO LATE: Slate interviews Juanita Broaddrick, Vox’s Ezra Klein tweets it’s worth listening to, that the “allegations against Bill Clinton are credible and horrifying, and hearing her tell the story is a gut punch.” AND it’s all just in time for the Clintons’ Big Whining … I mean, Speaking Tour. Sweet!

CONSEQUENCES: Marvel comics fired one of its writers for his anti-Trump Twitter rant. It’s nice to finally see it happen to someone who targeted us instead of the other way around.

STATE RUN MEDICINE: The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto says they are ready, willing, and able to not only euthanize their young patients, but also to do so without the consent or knowledge of the parents.

What a shock! That icon of feminism Bill Clinton? How come nobody’s ever reported on this before? 😬

Yeah, ummm… 😮 A health facility that has a policy of “we reserve the right to kill anybody, anytime, for any reason, or no reason at all”? I would not take my kid there for as much as an ingrown toenail! The Regressives might go for that kind of thing, I suppose; sort of post-birth abortion facility.

Hospital for sick doctors is more like it. O, Canada!

Re: Euthanasia … I read a Dutch doctor saying he wouldn’t want to be seriously ill in a Dutch hospital, because they pull the plug so quickly if it looks like someone’s going to get too expensive.

Ugh. When it’s der People’s Money, we must be extra-frugal. 😦

Funny how medicine has changed from when cost was not so determinant for doctors. My 98yo mom can afford what she needs without the gummint, and is in better shape than many folks my age, really, still has trouble getting the right attention because, you know, why waste time and money when, at 98, she’s supposed to be dead already.
