The first cases he’ll participate in will be cases on immigration, product liability and the Armed Career Criminal Act.

PELOSI 2017: They [Republicans] don’t want them [voters] to see that contrast, so they focus on something else.  It’s a diversionary tactic. It’s a self-fulfilling prophesy, you demonize and then [trails off].  We call it the wrap-up smear. . . . You smear somebody with falsehoods and all the rest and then you merchandise it.

“And then you [speaking to the press] write it, and they’ll say, see it’s reported in the press . . . so they have that validation that the press reported the smear, and then it’s called the ‘wrap-up smear.’  And now I’m going to merchandise the press’s report on the smear that we made.  [Shrugging and smirking] It’s a tactic.  And it’s, it’s self-evident.”

MEDIA BIAS: The press, of course, is complicit in the “wrap-up smear” tactic by refusing to check sources or vet information that is harmful to a Republican.

EMOTIONAL TERRORISM: Following his vote to confirm Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh on Saturday, Leftist thugs publicly posted the names and addresses of Colorado Republican Sen. Cory Gardner’s family and sent his wife a graphic text message with a video depicting a beheading.

KEEPING PROMISES: President Trump might be an unconventional commander in chief but he just got his second Supreme Court justice confirmed, and unemployment is down to 3.7%. In other words, he’s done for us exactly what he promised he would do when he was running for office. How many politicians can you point to who can say the same?

FACEBOOK SCAM: You can pretty much bet that any message that you get that asks you to paste and forward it to all your friends is some kind of scam. The latest is a Facebook message that says that your account has been cloned or hacked, and that you should forward the warning to all your friends. Don’t do it. It’s likely the message itself it is a scam, and could make your account vulnerable.

TYPHUS IN LA: An outbreak of flea-borne typhus has hit downtown Los Angeles. It can cause high fever, chills, headache and rash. It is not transmitted from person to person and can be treated with antibiotics.

  1. FTR, the Obama with Bong has the bong (and the Idi Amin poster) to the lower picture here:

It’s not too bad as a p’shop, though, as such things go. 😉

“Wonder what the raised-arm hand-wavy thing is all about.” … Assuming you’re serious … the kids were praying for Mrs. Trump.

Heh, I’m not so dense I didn’t get that. 😉

It’s just the gesture is not something with which I’m familiar. Reminded me of when folks hold onto the subject, or hold onto the shoulder of someone holding onto the subject, except without the actual touching.

We weren’t that touchy-feely in the little Episcopal congregation in which I was raised. 😀

Dearest and I met and courted via a Charismatic Catholic prayer group. They gathered with us before out wedding to lay on hands and pray for us, but I told them they’d have to lay hands on David, cuz nobody was touching my dress until after the ceremony. LOL

After a long time away from church, I went with Mom, and they had started doing that “turn to your neighbors and shake hands” thing. I was shocked. This is not the demure, respectful, germaphobic congregation in which I was raised! Of course, later, the E’s went all SJW and LGBQTP, etc., until they split into factions. I’m pretty sure that shaking hands thing was where the decline began.
