Former President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden were spotted together shopping for goodies at a bakery in Washington, D.C., on Monday. Their surprise stop at Dog Tag Bakery in Georgetown led to a frenzy among onlookers, all trying to take photos with the political superstars.

Chicago activists call on Emanuel to resign ahead of massive anti-violence protest
Protesters plan to walk along Lake Short Drive during Thursday’s rush hour, on the first day of the Lollapalooza music festival, and end up at Wrigley Field during a Chicago Cubs game.
The Tribune reported that the group is calling for Emanuel and Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson to step down in the face of the city’s failure to stem its gang- and police-related bloodshed.
The protest will likely stall traffic throughout the city as crowds move along one of Chicago’s busiest roads and into the Wrigleyville neighborhood. Continue reading

Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams became the first black female candidate to win a major party primary for governor in May
Stacey wants to run the Georgia economy.
But she is deeply in debt. Stacey owes $96,512 in student loan debt and $77,522 in credit card debt.

Alan Dershowitz defended a law that helps Trump and the left goes bonkers.
“You are implying in a kind of McCarthyite way that I am somehow defending Trump and that I am making his case,” Dershowitz said on MSNBC. “Shame on you! I am making a civil liberties case. I am not part of the Trump defense team, and don’t you dare accuse me of doing that. I am not making a case for anybody.”
For decades, Dershowitz was celebrated by liberals for boldly championing civil liberties. He has recently been viciously attacked and disavowed by the Left for pointing out that there is no evidence to support impeachment of President Trump. Continue reading
