No Real Jeopardy

It all depends on your political affiliation. If you are a conservative you are tried and convicted simply because of the way you think. If you’re a democrat, there is almost no fear of ever being prosecuted, no matter how serious the crimes you commit are. The GOP lacks the political will to punish their friends. The FBI refuses to turn over documents the House oversight committee has demanded and Nunes keeps stalling and threatening real action if….

NOW COMES THIS:

532 Days Later, All Charges Against Trump Inauguration Protesters Are Officially Dropped

This is why they keep protesting, because there are virtually never any real consequences, even if they’re violent.

The D.C. U.S. Attorney’s office dropped all charges Friday against people awaiting trial for allegedly rioting during President Donald Trump’s Inauguration Day.

Police arrested 234 people on January 20, 2017, for rioting that was allegedly spearheaded by a group that calls themselves DisruptJ20. Protesters caused more than $100,000 in damage by setting fires and smashing store windows, reported The Washington Post.

The attorney’s office had already dropped charges against 150 of the defendants after the first six alleged rioters were acquitted, WaPo reported. Prosecution sometimes used videos that said showed defendants smashing windows, but jurors said the videos were too fuzzy to draw conclusions.

This isn’t anything like when Holder dropped that slam-dunk case again the Black Panthers who menaced voters at a polling station because they were blaaaaack. That was political.

These cases were dropped due to the poverty of the evidence. I’m glad they didn’t keep wasting time when they couldn’t get juries to convict their best cases, cuz THAT would’ve been political.
