Immigration Update

I know this is CNN, but the Border Patrol guy does a good job talking about the deadly horrors migrant children are forced to experience because of THEIR PARENTS (or others who use and abuse them) taking or sending them across the border illegally.

On Tuesday, Democrats rejected a bill that would keep illegal immigrant families together on the border.

On Wednesday, Trump signed an Executive Order to help solve the problem of kids being separated from their legitimate parents. But he said he will not end the administration’s “zero tolerance” policy of criminally prosecuting every adult who crosses U.S. borders illegally and intends to keep pressure on Congress to pass legislation that meets his goals of halting the separation practice, funding his proposed border wall, and limiting legal immigration.

Then, he trolled the Left with this:

And he told Congressional Republicans to pass either one of the two immigration bills before the House, and to solve the family separation problem. “He said he’s with us 1,000 percent,” said Rep. Kevin Yoder, R-Kan. “He said we need to pass one of the two bills. He was agnostic about which one.”

Democrats are still unhappy. They don’t like the Executive Order and they don’t like the bills, though so far as I’ve heard, they haven’t presented any solutions of their own.

Let’s not forget that this situation was on-going during Obama’s years without the Left giving a toot. “It hasn’t been fixed. It needs to be fixed.” -Border Agent
