Real pie, fake news?
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders shared a maybe too good to be true photo of a pecan pie she says she made for Thanksgiving. Internet conspiracy theorists jumped in saying it was a stock photo of a pie.
White House correspondent April Ryan egged on the sweet debate calling on Sanders to show her cooking and people eating the said pie. In the end, Sanders never offered definitive proof of an actual pie, but she offered something rather sweet to get the press pool off her back.

Gorsuch establishes conservative cred in 1st year on court
The 50-year-old justice has been almost exactly what conservatives hoped for and liberals dreaded when he joined the court in April. He has consistently, even aggressively, lined up with the court’s most conservative justices. He has even split with Chief Justice John Roberts, viewed by some as insufficiently conservative because of his two opinions upholding President Barack Obama’s health law.
Liberals’ despair about Gorsuch goes beyond his judicial actions. He occupies a seat once held by Justice Antonin Scalia which they thought Obama would get to fill. But Senate Republicans refused to consider Obama’s nominee, a strategy that paid off when Donald Trump unexpectedly won the White House.

Franken will not resign, but ’embarrassed and ashamed’ over misconduct allegations

“I am just very sorry,” Franken told WCCO in an interview Sunday, reiterating that he has “a long way to go to win back the trust of the people of Minnesota.
“I’m looking forward to getting back to work tomorrow,” Franken, on Congress’ week-long Thanksgiving break, also said in the phone interview with the newspaper.
Franken’s office said last weekend that the senator will not resign, amid calls for him to step down.
The senator has repeatedly apologized to Tweeden. He also said he feels badly that Menz felt “disrespected” but that he does not remember the photograph being taken.

Fake News: Morning Joe Caught Pretending Pre-Taped Day After Thanksgiving Show Was Live
A long-time viewer of the program first noticed the show was not live when a story broke Friday afternoon about an ISIS attack on an Egyptian mosque that killed 305 people.
The news ticker referenced the attack, but the hosts did not mention it. Instead, Brzezinski and Scarborough spoke about Thanksgiving and President Trump’s shortcomings in the White House.
“The day after Thanksgiving, woo! I’m stuffed!” Brzezinski said, opening the show.
“Yeah, that was a great Thanksgiving,” Scarborough responded.

The Little Sisters of the Poor specialize in caring for the elderly poor. Naturally, this makes them a special hate target for the “caring” Left. Despite the fact that these wonderful nuns won their fight against the HHS mandate in the Supreme Court, grandstanding, Catholic-hating leftists in Pennsylvania and California are suing them AGAIN on the same issue in their state courts.

When archives were finally opened, they confirmed that he had died of starvation and cold at the Sevvostlag Prison Labor Camp in Siberia where prisoners slept in holes they dug in the tundra as they worked on the Kolyma Highway. Temperatures went down to 60-below.

Freedom Watch has filed a lawsuit in U.S. district court that seeks to force the Justice Department to investigate leaks from the special counsel, as well as “the obvious conflicts of interest among staff.”
