About That “Reckoning” on Bill Clinton

One of MSNBCs bottom feeders, Chris Hayes, mentioned the other day that maybe the democrats should have some remorse about protecting a vicious sexual predator for decades, since everybody’s being accused of inappropriate behavior and they’re in the process of executing a good man over what is probably nothing but partisan lies.

The farce of Bill Clinton’s “reckoning”

Is there anything in the news more farcical than liberals and feminists saying it’s time for “a reckoning with Bill Clinton”? Clinton was credibly accused of severe sexual misconduct by several women. One of them, Juanita Broaddrick, alleged that Clinton raped her. Her claim was highly credible, inasmuch as she complained contemporaneously to five people.

Did any Democrat or liberal media type say “I believe the women”? If so, I don’t recall it.

When political power is in the picture, Democrats and feminist “believe the women” only when they accuse political enemies. This was true in 1990s and it’s true today.

Kennedy, Clinton, and Weinstein: A Convenient Reckoning
Now it’s safe to denounce the worst acts of serial abusers on the left side of the aisle. In April, the historical drama Chappaquiddick will arrive in theaters. Variety declared the film “a tense, scrupulous, absorbingly precise and authentic piece of history — a tabloid scandal attached to a smoke-filled-room travesty.”

Ted Kennedy should, by all rights, have stood trial for involuntary manslaughter, which would likely have ended his political career.

It seems fair to ask whether Bill Clinton’s experience left many powerful and abusive men convinced that they could escape serious consequence.

Every Democrat Presidential Candidate in 25 Years Had Pedophile Ties

There is nothing that Hillary Clinton won’t do to win

Kathy Shelton had been raped and beaten into a coma when she was twelve years old. Her rapist wanted a “woman lawyer.” Hillary Clinton took his case as a favor and used every dirty trick to get him off. Even though she admits on the tape that she knew her client was guilty, she accused his victim of being “emotionally unstable” and fantasizing about older men. And she used the little girl’s bloody underwear as the pivot of a blatant lie that got her client off with less than a year in prison.

Bill Clinton took dozens of rides on Jeffrey Epstein’s Lolita Express.

The top Democrat donor’s plane earned its nickname because of its association with the abuse of young girls. Like Hillary’s client, the tastes of Bill’s bosom buddy allegedly ran to twelve year old girls. An FBI investigation found 40 victims.
And the Democrat in charge made sure that justice was served. Epstein spent a year under “house arrest” during which he was “let out on work release six days a week for up to 16 hours a day.”

When it comes to the news media, I’m always suspicious
Many mainstream news outlets have done about about-face over Bill Clinton’s history of sexual misconduct and assault.  In other words, Clinton and his wife are now useless to them.

To tell you the truth, I’m beginning to suspect that this no-holds-barred smear of Roy Moore is serving as a template for how the mainstream media will handle Republican candidates in the 2018 midterms.

Sexual allegations are in vogue thanks to Harvey Weinstein.  And if they succeed in driving Moore out of the race or getting him defeated at the ballot box, they plan on using this more widely next year.

Actually, even if they don’t succeed in defeating Moore, I think they still plan to use this tactic in 2018.

[CtH: A radio caller correctly pointed out that false accusations just make it harder on the real victims.  Just another example of why it is Democrats who are truly waging a war on women.]

Dan Rather On Clinton Rape Allegations: Even If They Turn Out To Be True, It Was A Long Time Ago

There’s a reason why the notion of a Democrat-media complex, or of feminists being the shock troops for the Left, exist. It’s because these incidents point to that. Bill Clinton was a presidential candidate at the time, a governor, and someone who was elected twice as president. He only got four stories over a year’s worth of coverage by CBS, ABC, and NBC, when he was accused of rape. Again, the allegations against Moore are despicable, but the media’s treatment is entirely different based on party affiliation.

NYT Column: I Believe, And Am ‘Haunted’ By, Juanita Broaddrick’s Rape Accusation Against Bill Clinton

Taking up that charge, a liberal writer penned a New York Times piece entitled, “I believe Juanita.” She writes that she finds some claims against Clinton dubious (glossing over the highly relevant fact that Clinton paid Paula Jones a $850,000 settlement in 1999, which would be worth more than $1.2 million in 2017 dollars), and that she abhors right-wing “bad faith” on these issues (seeking consistency isn’t bad faith or ‘whataboutism’).

Dem leaders increasingly bullish about retaking House

Democrats have targeted 91 Republican-held districts they believe are in play. Hoyer cited fundraising as a leading indicator of Democratic strength.

In the third quarter, 45 Democratic challengers outraised the Republican incumbents and 144 House Democratic candidates have already raised more than $100,000 dollars. Last cycle, only 41 Democrats had surpassed the $100,000 mark at this point.

Furthermore, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) has hauled in nearly $9 million more than their counterparts at the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) so far this year.

Nolte: MSM’s Phony Clinton Contrition Is Only About Destroying Roy Moore

Watching these leftists pretend to soul-search after participating in a 25-year cover-up of the sexual misconduct allegations against former President Bill Clinton is merely a reminder of just how venal the media are.
The only reason the media are trying to wipe away 25 years of indefensible behavior, is to weaponize this phony act of contrition against the Republican Party. This “awakening” is nothing less than a tactic, a battlefield maneuver to win back the U.S. Senate for Democrats by taking down Judge Roy Moore, the Republican Senate candidate in Alabama.

I would dare say, Sean, anybody in Washington, D.C., elected office, from President Trump to Vice President Pence, the members of Congress or the Senate, if that body of evidence existed, there would be an investigation today on corruption charges and bribery. I just think it’s that crystal clear.

Trump Shares the Three ‘Core Goals’ of His Asia Trip

Trump’s trip was defined by three core goals, he said.
1.Unite the world against the threatening North Korea regime – a threat that has “increased” and “requires urgent action.”
    2.Strengthen alliances.
3.Insist on fair and reciprocal trade.

Marco Rubio gives Trump advice on drinking water during speech!

Just a few moments ago Trump needed water while giving a speech. At first he couldn’t find it, but then someone told him where it was and he found it and then took a quick drink. It was pretty funny:

And where Trump mocked it last year:
