Day of Reckoning in Virginia

There’s been a pitched battle taking place in Virginia for months. It will all come to a head today. Ed Gillespie, former head of the RNC and Vietnam veteran is facing a typical socialist hack named Ralph Northam to replace the vile, repugnant Terry Mcauliffe. McAuliffe literally stole the governor’s mansion with illegal votes and looks like he has plans to do it again in the future. Democrats just can’t let go… ever.

Democrats Getting Last Minute Willies In VA Gov Race, And Did Ralph Northam Lie About His Military Career?
In a few hours, the polls will open in Virginia. Democratic candidate Ralph Northam, the lieutenant governor of the state, is in a tight race with Republican Ed Gillespie. This shouldn’t have been a big issue for Democrats. Incumbent Democratic Gov. Terry McAuliffe is popular. It’s the only southern state that Hillary Clinton won. It’s trending bluish—and Donald Trump is not popular here. And yet, here we are—one of the most critical races of the year, though some Virginia voters probably don’t even know that tomorrow is Election Day.

Jill Vogel on Tuesday’s Virginia Election: ‘This Will Define the Future of Virginia for a Generation’
Virginia Republican lieutenant gubernatorial candidate Jill Vogel told Matthew Boyle, Breitbart News’s Washington political editor, on Breitbart News Saturday SiriusXM Patriot Channel 125 that Tuesday’s Virginia election “will define the future of Virginia for a generation.”
Vogel added, “I have never seen an election where the stakes were higher or where the rhetoric and the vile nature of the messaging from the Democrats had such an impact on an election

Things Fall Apart: Last Days Of Virginia Governor’s Race Has Democrats In A ‘Circular Firing Squad’
Northam, who is the lieutenant governor of the state, boasted about being the deciding vote in the state Senate that blocked banning sanctuary cities. The Virginia Democrat surely isn’t acting like he’s in the lead. In fact, the attacks on Republican Ed Gillespie in the past few days have reeked of desperation. There must be something in the internal polling that has him and his people spooked because this has become a campaign that seems to be going off the hinges. First, Democracy for Action, the progressive group that called Northam’s campaign “racist” after the sanctuary city position reversal.

Ralph Northam’s Top Ten Blunders During Virginia Governor Race
Virginia Democrat gubernatorial candidate Ralph Northam’s campaign experienced many setbacks during his race for Virginia governor against Republican candidate Ed Gillespie.
Ten of Ralph Northam’s greatest blunders are:

PBS Analyst: If Dems Lose In Virginia, It’ll Be ‘Close to Civil War Within the Democratic Party’
With statewide elections on Tuesday in Virginia and New Jersey, the PBS NewsHour week-in-review segment strangely focused on Democrats for a change. Liberal analyst Mark Shields shocked PBS anchor Judy Woodruff by saying if Virginia’s Democratic candidate for governor, Ralph Northam, can’t defeat Republican Ed Gillespie with his alleged Trump baggage, there will be hell to pay:
But I will say this, that it’s proof, more than anything else, to me of how little Barack Obama cared about the Democratic Party or about politics. He was great at getting elected. He got a national majority twice in a row. Nobody had done that since Eisenhower. He was leaving the party $24 million in debt, therefore, vulnerable to Hillary Clinton’s coterie of big givers. Bernie Sanders didn’t have big givers, as we know.

Republican Ed Gillespie: A Reagan conservative tries to appeal and prevail in the age of Trump
Gillespie, communications ace, former lobbyist, and senior aide to President George W. Bush, will find out Tuesday if Virginia voters will send a Reagan conservative to the Virginia governor’s mansion in the era of Donald Trump.
Should Gillespie succeed, he would become the first Republican elected statewide in Virginia since Bob McDonnell led his party’s sweep of statewide offices in 2009. He would likely have a GOP-controlled legislature to pass a broad agenda of bills he could sign into law.

Wanda Sykes Urges Virginia Residents To Vote Against White Supremacy Enablers In Election PSA

“When the violence of White Supremacists in Charlottesville Virginia shocked the nation, Republican president Donald Trump failed to condemn it,” Sykes says in the 80-second clip. “In Virginia, the Republican candidate for Governor, Ed Gillespie, who has been endorsed by Donald Trump, has been complicit.”

Virginia Gov. (and Longtime Clinton Pal) Terry McAuliffe Rips Brazile Book: ‘Nobody Cares’
Appearing on MSNBC with Katy Tur, McAuliffe — himself a former DNC chair — didn’t mince words when asked about Brazile’s claims.
“Nobody cares about what Donna Brazile has said in a book,” McAuliffe said. “Nobody.”
“Let me be clear, and you can play this back on Wednesday morning,” McAuliffe told Tur. “We are going to win the governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general [races].”
The chat concluded with a cringe-worthy exchange between Tur — who’d pressed on the softening poll numbers and the Donna Brazile claims — and McAuliffe.
“Katy, you gotta enjoy life a little bit more,” McAuliffe said.

D.C. Democratic Mayor: Gillespie’s Tax Cuts Are Going to ‘Kill Us’

Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser (D.) spoke on Saturday at a “Get Out The Vote” canvassing event in Arlington, Va. where she claimed Virginia Republican gubernatorial candidate Ed Gillespie’s tax cuts will “kill us.”
Speaking with Democratic supporters and campaign volunteers, Bowser talked about the importance of believing “climate change is real” and said Democrats will focus on transportation and education before mentioning Republican candidate Ed Gillespie’s plan for tax cuts.
