Keeping Promises

Tea Party pic

Trump’s DOJ has settled with two groups whose tax-exempt status was inappropriately delayed by Obama appointees during the 2010 and 2012 elections because they represented Tea Party interests.

AG Sessions said it should be “without question” that the First Amendment prohibits the federal government from treating groups differently “based solely on their viewpoint or ideology.”

Trump and Obama both promised transparency. The difference is that Trump is actually keeping his pledge, whereas Obama managed to oversee one of the least transparent administrations in history. Latest case in point: The JFK files.

The U.S. economy posted its best six-month stretch of growth in three years despite two hurricanes, a sign that it might be breaking out of its long-running slow-growth trend, with the help of soaring stock prices and rising business and consumer confidence.

Mass Amnesia Hits Washington

The main reason there’s no need to get excited when one of these gutter rats is called before Congress is that they all come down with a bad case of CRS (can’t remember shit). It has always been the hallmark of any testimony by anyone named Clinton. “I don’t remember… I can’t recall… I have to search my memory…” If you’re going to break the law the first thing you do is become a lawyer so you know how to get around it. That’s why it’s the occupation of most democrats before they run for office. Unless they’re race hustlers, then no work experience is needed.

Hillary Claims She Didn’t Know About the Dossier – But Posted 8 Tweets Related to Dossier Before Election

She was preparing the public for the Russian narrative plot she had been working on with Fusion GPS and dossier author Christopher Steele.
On October 31st, 2016. with just days to go until election day, David Corn of Mother Jones broke the story of a ‘veteran spy’ who gave the FBI information on Trump’s alleged connections to Russia. Christopher Steele, British spy and author of the garbage dossier. was not named in this Mother Jones report. Only hints of the dossier were published; the salacious claims were omitted.

Hillary Clinton was disappointed the entire dossier hadn’t been published in full prior to the election. After all, she paid millions of dollars for the smear document.

Hillary: Of Course I Had No Idea We Paid For The Russia Dossier or That It Existed
After being caught red handed this week by the House Intelligence Committee of being behind the funding that produced the infamous Fusion GPS Russian dossier on Donald Trump, two time failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is claiming she knew nothing about the payments or the existence of the dossier at all. Further, she’s using Barack Obama’s excuse of “I learned about it through news reports.”

Hillary booster Wasserman Schultz claims she knows nothing about the DNC she ran helping Clinton fund ‘fake news’ dirty dossier about Trump

Former Clinton campaign lawyer Marc Elias has been revealed to have paid for the ‘dirty dossier’ on Donald Trump.  Campaign lawyer Marc Elias hired research firm Fusion GPS back in April 2016.  The firm then hired British intelligence agent Christopher Steele, who compiled the dossier.  He lists both the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee as clients.  DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz appointed him to a special task force.  Clinton’s press secretary said the candidate ‘may have known’ about funding the dossier.  A Wasserman Schultz spokesman said she was ‘not aware of anything’ about the arrangement.

Perez: I Just Learned About the Dossier ‘A Few Days Ago’
The Democratic National Committee is washing its hands of new reports that it, along with the Hillary Clinton campaign, funded research for the infamous dossier that tied Donald Trump to the Kremlin during the 2016 presidential election.

“Well, no, I learned about the dossier a few days ago, ok?” Perez said at the University of Chicago Institute of Politics.

The DNC Chair, who was appointed in February, added that he doesn’t see what all the hubbub is about, noting it is routine procedure for campaigns to conduct opposition research.

Hillary, You Can Run, But You Can’t Hide
While Hillary Clinton has been in Europe promoting her new book, What Happened, the heavily fortified wall of protection around her is crumbling. The potentially damaging testimony could lead to formal criminal charges against Hillary Clinton. Fox News Legal Analyst Greg Jarrett said that Clinton could be charged with “racketeering for using her charity as a criminal enterprise.” Not surprisingly, Clinton maintained that all of the accusations are “baloney.”

Clinton Playbook Being Rolled Out To Protect Hillary
Clinton team and media go into overdrive to hide real Russian collusion scandal. The Clinton team is ramping up its old war room tricks to deal with what is emerging as its own real Russian collusion scandal.

Hillary’s former press secretary, Brian Fallon, exclaimed to CNN’s Don Lemon, “It would be malpractice in my view for the campaign to not to want to turn over every rock and learn everything it could about Donald Trump.”

Really? Then why try to hide the campaign’s involvement for so long? Perhaps one explanation is that the Russian lawyer who had offered Donald Trump Jr. damaging information about Hillary Clinton was also involved with the Clinton campaign-funded Fusion GPS.

The real collusion story is Hillary Clinton’s own willingness to benefit Russia for financial gain despite the risk of compromising national security. During Hillary Clinton’s tenure as former President Obama’s Secretary of State, the FBI had compiled substantial evidence of money laundering, bribery and other criminal activities by Russians reportedly involved with the Uranium One deal, which Hillary subsequently signed off on even though it placed about 20 percent of the U.S. uranium reserves under Russian control. I’m telling you. If any colluding was taking place, it was between the Obama Administration, the DNC and cooperative Russian actors.

But here’s the thing. The media is so hell-bent on destroying Donald Trump that they’ve become myopic. And in their myopia, they haven’t considered the fall-out for their side by opening this can of worms.

Obama AG Lynch refuses to discuss notorious Clinton tarmac meeting with Russia probe
Republicans were eager to question her about an infamous tarmac meeting with former President Bill Clinton in June 2016, a meeting which has triggered suspicions about the Obama Department of Justice’s impartiality toward Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton at the height of the election.

But Mrs. Lynch refused to discuss the meeting before the House Intelligence Committee on Friday, according to Fox News.

Mrs. Lynch has been accused of attempting to influence the FBI’s investigation into Mrs. Clinton’s private email use while secretary of state — and both she and Mr. Clinton say the meeting at the Phoenix airport was a chance social encounter.

Why It Matters That The Clinton Campaign And DNC Funded The Dossier
To hear Democrats and the mainstream media tell it this week, it doesn’t matter that the Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee paid for the infamous Trump dossier.

“Even when we find out the whodunnit of who approved it in April 2016, it still won’t amount to much because there is nothing illegal afoot here,” Clinton campaign spinmeister Brian Fallon said of the dossier on a CNN panel on Thursday.

Media Bias AGAIN

2017_10 26 Media bias toon by Branco

The same pundits who pretended to tremble at dark forces outside the country trying to “tip the election” now say it is perfectly normal and even commendable that Hillary paid a foreign source to smear her opponent.

Dossier payments (probably) violated campaign finance law

Oct 24, 2017 Fox News Alert

The non-partisan Campaign Legal Center (CLC) has filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) over campaign moneys being used to purchase the (now-debunked) Trump Dossier.

The dossier contained salacious lies about Trump’s personal life and alleged a connection between Donald Trump and Russia government.

If the FEC finds violations, both Hillary’s campaign and the DNC face fines which will go higher if the FEC also determines they used the dossier to purposely mislead the American people.

Relax and glorify the Lord for a few minutes

This is a setting of Psalm 119:1 from the early 20th century. The singers go through the Latin lines twice.

Beati quorum via integra est, qui ambulant in lege Domini.

Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.

The Most Dangerous National Security Threat No One’s Talking About

Congressman Trent Franks wrote today at Townhall [excerpts]:

The North Korean dictatorship boasted that they have tested a hydrogen bomb underground in September.

Such a hydrogen bomb has the power to destroy Manhattan, killing 8.5 million New York City residents in a couple of seconds.

But, there is a prospect potentially even more deadly and terrifying.

A hydrogen bomb, exploded within Earth’s atmosphere over a central location like Kansas, would emit an electromagnetic pulse that could destroy electronic devices for thousands of miles.

This could include all the devices we regularly depend upon that require electronics to function – vehicles, our water and plumbing systems, heating and air conditioning, refrigeration… just to name a few.

EMP area by bursts

As of now, we do not have sufficient hardware fixes to prevent such a detonation from damaging or destroying our electric grid.

It is also imperative that we do what is necessary to dismantle North Korea’s nuclear capability and prevent Iran from gaining such capability. These dangerous and escalating situations cannot be allowed to continue on their present path under any circumstances.

The time for naiveté is over. Congress must act now to allocate the appropriate funds so we can be prepared for an EMP attack on American soil.

So much to do. Where to start?

There was an interesting post at Gateway Pundit this morning.

The Question Must Be Asked: Who Did Deep State Catch AG Jeff Sessions in Bed With?

But what has happened with the swamp?

The answer lies with President Trump’s Attorney General. Day after day, since he was sworn in as AG, Jeff Sessions has failed his President and the American people.
In July, after his son in law was brought in for questioning related to the fake Russia collusion story about President Trump having ties with the Russians, the President fired off at his AG.  He started by tweeting – Ukrainian efforts to sabotage Trump campaign – “quietly working to boost Clinton.” So where is the investigation A.G.

Apparently his collegiality with his former democrat senate buddies precludes him carrying out his prosecutorial duties. Lord knows there should be subpeonas flying over the Russian Dossier and Uranium sales treason. But he won’t budge. He needs to be dismissed if he can’t find it in his heart to do his job.

President Trump Declares Opioid Crisis a National Health Emergency

Actually, he didn’t. Doing so would make billions available for use to combat opioid abuse.  However, he gave an impassioned speech about the brother he lost to this disease.  Trump declares opioid epidemic the worst drug crisis in American history.

Rosie O’Donnell:  ‘I may not survive Trump presidency’

‘I seriously worry whether I will be able to live through his presidency,’ said Rosie O’Donnell in her first interview since President Trump won the election.

She said that she was so sure Hillary Clinton was going to win, ‘I literally felt such sorrow inside of me that these people were so deluded,’ she said after seeing Trump’s children tell their kids ‘Grandpa’ was going to win.

McConnell Advances Six Judicial Nominees, Base and Republicans Push for More
Senate Republicans confirmed one federal judge on Thursday and set the stage to confirm five more judges next week, including to federal appeals courts across the nation. While these are victories for President Donald Trump, conservatives caution senators that this week’s developments are a good start, but not enough to satisfy them when it comes to the federal courts.

Rep. Frederica Wilson (Dem-Florida) Has Been Missing From Congress For Days, Her Excuse Blames Trump Backlash

The Democrat from Miami was all over the media last week condemning the president for a condolence call he made to the wife of Sgt. La David Johnson, who was killed in an Oct. 4 ambush in Niger.  But after creating a torrential firestorm with her attacks, the lawmaker found herself the target of ongoing threats against her, the Miami Herald reported Wednesday.  She has since missed 19 votes between Monday, Oct. 23 and Wednesday, Oct. 25, according to the Miami Herald.

FBI Informant’s Lawyer — Obama Admin ‘Threatened’ My Client And His Career
Victoria Toensing, the lawyer for the informant, told The Daily Caller’s Vince Coglianese that Obama Justice Department lawyers told her client that “his reputation and liberty [was] in jeopardy” if he did not drop a lawsuit against the government.

On Wednesday, the Trump Justice Department released the informant from a confidentiality agreement, clearing the way for him to testify before several congressional committees about his undercover work at Uranium One, a Canada-based energy company that has ties to Bill and Hillary Clinton and their family foundation.
