Trump’s DOJ has settled with two groups whose tax-exempt status was inappropriately delayed by Obama appointees during the 2010 and 2012 elections because they represented Tea Party interests.

AG Sessions said it should be “without question” that the First Amendment prohibits the federal government from treating groups differently “based solely on their viewpoint or ideology.”

Trump and Obama both promised transparency. The difference is that Trump is actually keeping his pledge, whereas Obama managed to oversee one of the least transparent administrations in history. Latest case in point: The JFK files.

The U.S. economy posted its best six-month stretch of growth in three years despite two hurricanes, a sign that it might be breaking out of its long-running slow-growth trend, with the help of soaring stock prices and rising business and consumer confidence.

    He certainly does seem to be doing his best about the things that he can actually control. Let’s see what happens in Congress now. It’s going to be a long haul to get those creeps to do their jobs. They are too used to the gravy train of DC. I think holding the Congress’ feet to the fire is going to be up to us.
