The NFL brouhaha is not actually about free speech. NFL teams are businesses and NFL players are employees. Under U.S. law, businesses may have rules covering employee behavior both on and off the job.
But even if it were about free speech and NFL players were truly free to insult America, her military, and her flag, those of us who are so insulted are truly free to not spend our time and money on NFL products.

Odell Beckham Jr is a standout pro football player. He’s currently one of the NFL’s biggest stars. Odell makes a shit ton of money, he’s set for life. A week or so ago, he celebrated a TD by getting on all fours and hiking his leg, like a dog pissing. Later, on Twitter he said it was directed at President Trump. He was so proud – it made all the highlight shows.
On Sunday, he broke his ankle. He’ll be out of football for the rest of the season.

On a related topic, do y’all remember the arrogant Obama saying that his nomination would mark the day the oceans ceased to rise? I heard on the radio yesterday that, according to NASA, polar ice has increased so much that there has been a measurable drop in the ocean’s level! BWAHAHAHA.

If I were a football fan, I think I’d switch to high school girls volleyball. It would put me to sleep just as quickly, but without the aggravation.
