After the democrats shoved Obamacare down the nation’s throats in the dead of night on December 24,2009,republicans had a cause to rally around and sell to their voters:kill this monstrosity. For what seems like every year after the GOP won more than 70 House seats in 2010 they passed bills repealing Obamacare. It was a safe move,as they knew full well Harry Reid blocked every piece of legislation they sent up.The Republican Senate cried:we have to have control of both houses to get rid of the ACA.In 2012,their wish was granted. The last eight years, using a pack of willing media whores as palace guards,Obama operated at will, doing what he wanted, when he wanted. He had absolute power. The republicans had no will to do anything about it and he knew it.The only reason it wasn’t any worse than it was is because he cared more about vacationing and having fun than working.
November 9,2016.The landscape changed. The republicans now had a majority in all 3 houses on the hill. One of the main reasons they were handed this golden opportunity was the repeal of Obamacare.Problem is,there was never any real desire to do anything, since the elite were just as happy being a minority, where all they needed to do was whine and complain. When the time came to lead, they were more concerned with the DC cocktail circuit with their democrat colleagues and keeping the money train running.Needing all but two republican senators to pass everything, different versions of a revised healthcare plan were rejected amid rancor and bickering among the troops.
The vote scheduled for this week, which would have failed, given at least 4 senators announced they would vote “no”was postponed because of minor brain surgery performed on Juan Mcamnesty, the democrats’ favorite bitch.
The Poltroon Party Gets a Reprieve on Obamacare Repeal
Mitch McConnell no doubt breathed a sigh of relief when John McCain’s surgery gave him an excuse to postpone a vote on the Better Care Reconciliation Act (BCRA). Now that Senators Rand Paul and Susan Collins have made it abundantly clear that no concession or reasonable argument will persuade them to do the right thing on Obamacare, every remaining GOP Senator has to support BCRA in order to get the bill passed. And it was by no means certain that McConnell had enough votes to accomplish that even with McCain present. Why? The GOP has become the party of poltroons.
McCain’s Blood Clot Blocks Obamacare Repeal Vote
GOP leadership hoped to vote on the bill this week, but Republicans need McCain to gain a majority as two GOP lawmakers have already come out against the revised draft. Moderate Sen. Susan Collins of Maine and conservative Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky both oppose the bill and have said they would not vote to even begin debate on the legislation. Six other Senators remain undecided.
Now that the GOP can replace ObamaCare, it’s suddenly got cold feet
The current path of the Senate bill has plenty of obstacles, including the sheer inertia of the ObamaCare status quo and the fact that no one has made the public case for the Republican legislation. But the effort also suffers from a mismatch between the longtime public posture of Republicans (ObamaCare must and will be fully repealed) and their private misgivings (do we really have to do this, even partially?).
Two GOP senators to vote against ObamaCare repeal-only bill
Collins said that she is still a “no” on proceeding to the House-passed bill, which would be used as a vehicle for any Senate action.
ONE CONSTANT IN EVERY EFFORT TO REPLACE OR REPEAL THE HEALTHCARE ACT IS THE MAINE PAIN,FLOOZY SUSY COLLINS,WHO ONCE FORMED THE DYNAMIC DUO WITH OLYMPIA SNOWE.NOW SHE’S JUST THE BIGGEST RINO PAIN-IN-THE-ASS IN WASHINGTON.SHE HAS NEVER,TO MY KNOWLEDGE,VOTED WITH THE REPUBLICANS IF THERE WAS THE SLIGHTEST POLITICAL RISK INVOLVED.
“We can’t just hope that we will pass a replacement within the next two years. Repealing without a replacement would create great uncertainty for individuals who rely on the [Affordable Care Act] and cause further turmoil in the insurance markets,” she said.
As Senate Bill Dies, President Trump, Mitch McConnell Call for Clean Repeal of Obamacare Now, Replacement Later
President Donald J. Trump is calling on congressional Republicans to drop their failed efforts to repeal and replace Obamacare in one fell swoop and instead pass a clean repeal of the failed health care overhaul from the previous administration now and push through a bipartisan replacement plan later.

HE JUST CAN’T HELP HIMSELF.KICKBACKS ARE THE REASON NEARLY ALL OF THEM ARE THERE.BEATS WORKING,I GUESS
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell slipped more backroom deals into the Senate healthcare bill to entice more moderate senators to vote for the bill.
Republicans have frequently criticized Democrats for bribing so many senators to pass Obamacare seven years ago, even though McConnell continues to employ the same tactics to pass their Senate healthcare bill.
