Donald of Arabia

Donald Trump gave an absolutely flawless speech before a meeting of Muslim leaders in Saudi Arabia over the weekend. The differences between his visit and the FORMER president could not be more stark.

Obama could not get his mouth to form the words “Islamic terrorists” or “radical Islam.” Trump told them “Drive Out the Terrorists!… Drive Them Out! Drive Them Out!”

Top Arab leaders from 50 majority Muslim countries, including the Saudi, Egyptian and Jordanian leaders posed for a photo with the US president on Sunday before his speech in Riyadh. It will be hard for the liberals to spin this photo and historic event.

IF YOU CAN SPARE THE 34 MINUTES, TRUMP’S SPEECH IS WELL WORTH WATCHING.

CtH POSTED ONE SHORT CLIP.  HERE’S ANOTHER:

Trump: Muslims must confront ‘Islamic terror’

The Mideast MAGA (MMEGA) Platform …

“Our goal is a coalition of nations who share the aim of stamping out extremism and providing our children a hopeful future that does honor to God.” – DJT

“We are not here to lecture — we are not here to tell other people how to live, what to do, who to be, or how to worship. Instead, we are here to offer partnership.” – DJT

“Every time a terrorist murders an innocent person, and falsely invokes the name of God, it should be an insult to every person of faith.” – DJT

Whoever wrote those lines deserves a pat on the back and a raise.

Key quotes and highlights from Trump’s speech:

  • “We are adopting a principled realism … Our friends will never question our support, and our enemies will never doubt our determination. … [W]herever possible, we will seek gradual reforms – not sudden intervention.”
  • “Our goal is a coalition of nations who share the aim of stamping out extremism and providing our children a hopeful future that does honor to God.”
  • “We are not here to lecture — we are not here to tell other people how to live, what to do, who to be, or how to worship. Instead, we are here to offer partnership.”
  • “Every time a terrorist murders an innocent person, and falsely invokes the name of God, it should be an insult to every person of faith.”
  • “But we can only overcome his evil if the forces of good are united and strong — and if everyone in this room does their fair share and fulfills their part of the burden.”
  • “Terrorism has spread across the world. But the path to peace begins right here, on this ancient soil, in this sacred land.”
  • “America is prepared to stand with you … But the nations of the Middle East cannot wait for American power to crush this enemy for them.”
  • “This is not a battle between different faiths, different sects, or different civilizations. This is a battle between barbaric criminals who seek to obliterate human life, and decent people of all religions who seek to protect it.This is a battle between good and evil.”
  • “That means honestly confronting the crisis of Islamist extremism and the Islamist terror groups it inspires.  And it means standing together against the murder of innocent Muslims, the oppression of women, the persecution of Jews, and the slaughter of Christians.”
  • “Religious leaders must make this absolutely clear: Barbarism will deliver you no glory — piety to evil will bring you no dignity. If you choose the path of terror, your life will be empty, your life will be brief, and your soul will be condemned.”

Oh sole mio! Michelle Obama soaks up the Tuscan sunshine in a flirty off-the-shoulder top and ripped white jeans as she leaves Barack at home for some sight-seeing
Barack and Michelle Obama flew into a Tuscany military base on Friday, escorted by six fighter jets
They were escorted in a 13-car motorcade to Borgo Finocchieto, a refurbished 14th century village
The five-building, six-acre space is owned by Obama’s former ambassador to Italy, John Philips
    THIS PLACE RENTS FOR $15,000/NIGHT;
SINCE HIS FORMER AMBASSADOR OWNS IT,THEY’RE NOT PAYING A DIME
It features 22 bedrooms, multiple saunas and Jacuzzis, a swimming pool, a gym and a basketball court
It’s also surrounded by beautiful rolling hills that can be explored by car, helicopter or even hot air balloon
The Obamas, who have been on multiple vacations since leaving the White House, will reportedly visit Florence and Siena during their vacation
Barack has already been spotted playing golf on the course of Castiglione del Bosco in Tuscany Saturday
Michelle was spotted taking in the sights in the hillside resort of Montalcino almost 70 miles away

Michelle Obama looks like she’s enjoying la dolce vita in Italy. Pasta, gelato, giant villas and vineyards as far as the eye can see, what’s not to love.

Democratic Battle Cry In California: ‘F–K Donald Trump!’

“Fuck Donald Trump,” was the Democratic battle cry made over the weekend from outgoing California Democratic Party chairman John Burton.

Burton made the remark in initiating this year’s California Democratic Convention in Sacramento, where the theme appeared to be resisting the current administration in Washington.

Burton extended a middle finger while making the remark to a cheering crowd, the Associated Press reported.

California Democratic Chair Race Angers ‘Berniecrats’

Delegates to the state party convention selected Bauman for party chair on Saturday. He defeated Kimberly Ellis, who refused to concede citing unspecified concerns with the vote count and, after speaking with a lawyer, declared “this race is not over.”

The hotly contested race reflected the deep divisions within the Democratic Party, which despite a universal commitment to fighting President Donald Trump has not fully healed from last year’s contentious presidential primary between Sanders and Hillary Clinton.

“Even those who disagree with Mike Pence recognize him as a man of principle.”

Well, except for the twits who rudely walked out to show their contempt for him.

In his speech, Pence blasted free speech suppression on college campuses as “noxious” and “wholly outside the American tradition.”

The students who walked out essentially proved his point. Thankfully, a lot of people at the ceremony booed those who walked out.

THE LEFT WILL HAVE APOPLEXY over Trump’s proposal to cut food stamps.

According to people familiar with the plan, Trump’s budget includes $1.7 trillion in cuts over 10 years. Included are cuts to pensions for federal workers plus higher contributions toward those pension benefits, as well as cuts to refundable tax credits paid to the working poor and a whopping $193 billion from food stamps (more than 25%), the latter to be implemented by cutting back eligibility and imposing additional work requirements.

Pete, I LOVE the title Donald of Arabia. 🙂 My apologies for gutting and reposting a lot of what you put up here. I felt it was taking too long to load and would be easier to digest in smaller bites. Plus, I wanted to add my two cents here and there without covering the same ground you already had.
