Lieberman would be an unusual pick for the job — past FBI chiefs have either worked at the bureau or served as a federal judge or prosecutor. He was attorney general of Connecticut before being elected to the Senate in 1988.
The former Democratic vice presidential nominee currently works at the law firm Kasowitz Benson Torres in New York – the same firm as Trump’s attorney Marc Kasowitz.

According to Politico, if Trump thought that Lieberman would be a choice welcomed by Democrats, he got it squarely wrong. Lieberman is not popular among his former Senate colleagues. Furthermore, critics of Trump’s decision stress that the role of FBI director should be filled by someone who isn’t a politician. Lieberman was Al Gore’s vice presidential running mate in 2000 and ran for president himself in 2004.

A Jacksonville, Fla. news station obtained photographic evidence from the trial of recently convicted former Democratic Rep. Corrine Brown (Fla.) that showed the extent of her lavish living that was funded by a bogus charity.
Brown was found guilty of wire fraud and tax evasion on May 11. The charges stemmed from a phony charity, One Door for Education, that Brown used to enrich herself. The Washington Free Beacon reported that more than $800,000 was deposited into the sham foundation, but only $1,200 of that money went to charity
Among the evidence obtained was a picture of a birthday cake for Brown’s daughter that cost the charity $750. The evidence file also includes pictures at events funded by the charity of dignitaries like Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D., Fla.), a longtime Florida congresswoman and former chair of the Democratic National Committee

Artist Trolls Maxine Waters Because of Her Out-of-District Mansion
If you’re going to have a gigantic mansion, make sure it’s at least located in your district.
Maxine Waters does not live in the district she represents in Congress, which caused one of her political rivals, Republican Omar Navarro, to hold a press conference in front of her mansion. Inexplicably, he was accompanied by a mariachi band (hey, this is 2017; nothing in politics surprises me anymore.)
Waters has been on the forefront of the Impeach Trump movement, though she sometimes was erratic at best. Navarro said that his opponent, “obviously lives outside the district, and that’s a representation of who she is and who she’s serving. She’s not representing the interests of her own district… People are homeless in Los Angeles, while this person right here [gestures to Waters’ home] is out of touch with what’s going on in society.”
The moral of the story? If you’re going to look like a wealthy, out-of-touch politician by having a gigantic mansion, make sure that mansion is at least located in your district.

The newest data is from crosschecks of voter registrations across 28 states that participate in the program. At least 7.2 million registrations appeared in two states at once, according to the data.
Georgia (660,708), North Carolina (561,811), and Illinois (542,065) lead the 28 states studied in potential duplicated voter registrations across state lines.
