Eight years ago, this same media couldn’t say enough good stuff about their man Barack.  Here are just a few of the many, many nauseating examples:

  • ABC’s Terry Moran: “In some ways, Barack Obama is the first President since George Washington to be taking a step down into the Oval office.”
  • CBS’s Harry Smith about the 2009 inauguration: “This most sacred event.”
  • MSNBC’s Chris Matthews: “The centerpiece of the world.”
  • NBC’s Today: “[Barack and Michelle’s visit] is going to be the most exciting encounter of [Queen Elizabeth II’s] long and successful reign.”
  • CNN’s Alina Cho: “The world is watching the royal family of the United States.”
  • AP’s Liz Sidoti: “Obama quickly, confidently adapts to presidency.”
  • NPR’s Nina Totenberg: “A friend of mine said, ‘Oh my God, we have a President again!'”
