The President held a press conference yesterday, ostensibly to introduce his new nominee for Labor Secretary. I happened to have tuned in to FNC shortly after it began. Seldom, if ever, have I so enjoyed an ordinary presser. Republicans just don’t act that way when being hammered by the media to defend vicious rumors perpetrated largely by the press whores themselves. He played no favorites, but called on all manner of squawking peacocks trying to get their ‘gotcha’ questions heard. It went on for almost 90 minutes and when it was over the room was littered with broken bodies.
That’s Entertainment! Trump’s 75-Minute Tour de Force
THIS IS AN EXCELLENT READ
Donald Trump, giving press conferences as president, is like a cross between Fidel Castro’s long-windedness and machismo and Christopher Walken’s theatrical presence — and nobody else in the room can compete with that.
This was on display Thursday, when after a week’s worth of his administration being buffeted by a hurricane of negative media coverage — some of it deserved, some much less so — the president turned himself loose in the East Room.
An hour and 15 minutes later, he walked out of what could be described as a smoldering ruin.
He even toyed with the insufferable Jim Acosta.
Trump Challenges CNN’s Acosta to ‘Ask Jeff Zucker How He Got His Job’
So, when Trump called on Acosta, the CNN correspondent denied the charge, saying, “Just for the record, we don’t hate you. I don’t hate you.” Trump sarcastically replied, “O.K.” and Acosta tells him to “Pass that along.”
Then, something strange happened.
Trump defended the claim CNN hates him by cryptically challenging Acosta:
“Ask — ask Jeff Zucker how he got his job. OK?”
Trump Mocks CNN Ratings During Exchange With Reporter Jim Acosta
SINCE THIS EXCHANGE ZUCKER HAS BEEN SCREAMING ABOUT HOW HIGH CNNs RATINGS ARE…DON’T BELIEVE IT.
Later in the exchange, after Acosta said he was looking to follow up on previous questions, Trump interrupted to comment on his network’s ratings.
“Your ratings aren’t as good as some of the other people,” Trump said.
Acosta defended himself before shifting to his line of questioning.
“They’re pretty good right now actually, Mr. President,” Acosta responded.
Trump takes questions from CNN reporter
THIS IS ACOSTA’S ENTIRE BEATDOWN EN TOTO
Trump: ‘I Inherited A Mess’
I HEARD THIS SH!T FROM MY FRIEND WILLIE ABOUT OBAMA INHERITING BUSH’S MESS FOR HIS WHOLE TERM!!
“Jobs are pouring out of the country — you see what’s going on with all of the companies leaving our country, going to Mexico and other places — low pay, low wages, mass instability overseas, no matter where you look, the Middle East, a disaster. North Korea.”
“We’ll take care of it, folks,” he reassured his audience. “We are going to take care of it all. I just wanted to let you know, I inherited a mess.”
Trump blasts Hillary Clinton For Selling 20% Of U.S. Uranium To Russia
President Donald Trump held a fiery press conference and he didn’t hold back. He ripped the dishonest media and took another shot at CNN calling them ‘very fake news’. He brought up Russia and absolutely destroyed Hillary Clinton.
CNN Anchor Compares Trump To Hitler While Her Boss Buys Obama Photos
In the weeks after Donald Trump won the election, CNN chief Jeff Zucker watched as one of his employees compared the new president to Adolf Hitler.
At a White House press conference Thursday, Trump declared that he was changing his moniker for the network from “fake news” to “very fake news.”
CNN Chief: Antagonism Toward Trump ‘Boosting Morale’ of Network Employees
CNN is viewing its antagonism toward President Donald J. Trump as a “badge of honor” — and according to CNN president Jeff Zucker the network’s daily aggression aimed at Trump is “boosting” employee morale.
Liberal Media in Crisis After Being Passed Over for Questions
Trump is “shutting down part of the First Amendment”
The liberal media’s inflated sense of importance is on full display. During a press conference yesterday with Benjamin Netanyahu, liberal journalists wanted to shift the narrative to the resignation of Michael Flynn.
The liberal media, which just came back from an eight year vacation during which they peppered Obama with questions about how awesome he is, now wants us to believe we can’t live without their tough questions for Trump.
Chuck Todd’s Scorn: Calls President Trump’s Press Conference “Un-American”
NBC News anchor Chuck Todd was not happy with President Donald Trump’s fiery press conference on Thursday. After speaking to various media outlets for over an hour, President Trump answered varying questions which included anything from the 2016 election to recent actions by the Russian military.
He answered each question to the best of his ability and gave each reporter ample time to ask any questions they had.
Because of his actions, NBC’s Todd deemed him un-American.
It is now apparent that people in the mainstream media believe the First Amendment is something that remains exclusively to them alone and no one else.
HIS CO-CONSPIRATOR JIM ACOSTA WHINED AT TRUMP THAT HE SHOULD BE CONCERNED ABOUT ‘THE PUBLIC’S VIEW OF FREEDOM OF THE PRESS AND THE FIRST AMENDMENT’
Carr: Kudos to President Trump for calling out fake news
Donald Trump is right — the alt-left fake news media are out of control.
“The press has become so dishonest,” he said today, “that if we don’t talk about it, we are doing a tremendous disservice to the American people.”
The pampered pukes have been lying for a long time — just ask the New England Patriots about their “BITTER END.” But this week’s deluge of fake news has just been totally over the top. Trump singled out Wednesday’s New York Times page-one story about the “repeated contacts” of Trump campaign aides with Russians.
That, he said, was “fake news.” And then there was yesterday’s Wall Street Journal front-page non-story, “Spies Keep Intelligence from Trump.”
“Almost as disgraceful,” the president said.
Sorry, media — this press conference played very differently with Trump’s supporters
Maybe it’s not a coincidence that Barnum & Bailey is folding its tents this year. After all, how could the circus possibly compete with Donald Trump?
The president proved once again that he is the greatest show on Earth. Lions and tigers and elephants are kid stuff next to his high wire act.
Next time, the White House ought to sell popcorn.
John Bolton: Left ‘Engaging in Collective Hysteria’ Because They Cannot Make ‘Substantive Arguments’ Against Trump Policies
“The idea of a one-state solution comes in a variety of forms, but it absolutely violates the near-religious theological doctrine that there must be a Palestinian state. So for Trump to say, ‘I could live with a two-state solution, I could live with a one-state solution’ blows up about 70 years of orthodoxy,” he said.
“Of all the disruptive things he’s done in Washington in just one month, that could be the most disruptive of all,” Bolton proclaimed. “It just sends a signal all around the world that really the persecution of Israel that we’ve seen, unfortunately, in many European countries, in the U.N. for sure, is going to meet some fierce resistance from this president.”
Trump Downgrades CNN From ‘Fake News’ To ‘Very Fake News’
CNN Anchor’s Slip of the Tongue Shows the Network Still Has Obama on the Brain
CNN anchor Kate Bolduan had a slip of the tongue while concluding her show on Thursday when she told her viewers to stand by for the upcoming press conference with President Barack Obama at the White House.
MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow Says Trump Has ‘Failed in Every Conceivable Way’
BITCHY BUTCHY ON ANOTHER RANT
Maddow began her attack after playing a clip of Trump’s press conference earlier in the day at the White House, during which he argued his administration is running “like a fine-tuned machine.”
“The personnel debacles and the serious scandals that already attend to this less than one-month-old presidency are really, without hyperbole, they are unlike anything we have ever seen at the start of a presidential term,” she said.
