The trouble with the Trump Administration is that they’re bad liars and even worse at covering it up. The democrats have it down to a science. None of them ever pays a price for the lying, the bribes, the corruption, and the double dealing. When they must, they yawn and moan: ‘I take full responsibility.’ Which means the press drops the issue and it’s back to business as usual. That in no way excuses Gen. Flynn lying to Vice President Pence about communicating with Russia and putting the VP in an awkward position. He resigned today, being a man of honor and wanting to bring no more shame on the Commander-in-Chief.
Make no mistake, he was sabotaged by leaks to the press from inside the intelligence community. These are career operatives always looking out for #1. Their leaks to the media are reminiscent of the infamous “Deep Throat,” who made liberal icons of Woodward and Bernstein. Their brethren in leftist hackdom are lusting after a scalp of their own.
ADDED BY CTH: February 14, 2017 — Multiple sources in and out of the White House report that the leaks that led to the abrupt resignation Monday evening of White House national security adviser Michael Flynn were the culmination of a secret, months-long campaign by former Obama administration confidantes to discredit Flynn, an opponent of the Iran nuclear deal, handicap President Donald Trump’s national security apparatus, and preserve the nuclear deal with Iran.
National Security Advisor Michael Flynn Resigns
Turns out he did discuss sanctions against Russia with the Russian ambassador.
In the course of my duties as the incoming National Security Advisor, I held numerous phone calls with foreign counterparts, ministers, and ambassadors. These calls were to facilitate a smooth transition and begin to build the necessary relationships between the President, his advisors and foreign leaders. Such calls are standard practice in any transition of this magnitude.
General Flynn Is An American Patriot, But The CIA Finally Took Him Down
The CIA and the liberals must be so proud of themselves today, as General Flynn resigned from President Trump’s Team. He will no longer be there to protect the American people with his honesty and to advise President Trump, as he is going to need it. This is just the beginning of the attacks on Trump’s Team.
The left is attacking Gen Michael Flynn over unproven allegations that he discussed sanctions with the Russian ambassador before President Trump took office. The media and the Left is going to use leaks from the Obama administration hold-overs to smear every one of Trump’s staffers and confidants.
McCain says Flynn resignation shows ‘dysfunction’ at the White House
JUST LIKE THE JACKALS WHO FEED ON THE DEAD, SO DOES JUAN McSTAIN SHOW UP TO BASK IN THE MEDIA SPOTLIGHT
“At the same time, General Flynn’s resignation is a troubling indication of the dysfunction of the current national security apparatus,” the Arizona Republican said.
CIA broke the law to take out its critic General Flynn
Senator Chuck Schumer, of all people, laid out on January 2 what was going to happen to the Trump administration if it dared take on the deep state – the permanent bureaucracy that has contempt for the will of the voters and feels entitled to run the government for its own benefit.
CNN’s Henderson: Some Might View Flynn Resignation as the Press Having Scored Points Against the WH
“You imagine that some people might be looking at this as some sort of reset — to get this story off the radar, to get this story off the front pages, like The Washington Post and The New York Times,” she said. “And others might be looking at it as the press having scored some points against this White House. And we know this is a White House that has an ongoing feud with many different outlets.
Trump, GOP lawmakers eye ‘illegal’ leaks in wake of Flynn resignation
The president, after accepting Flynn’s resignation overnight, tweeted Tuesday morning that, “The real story here is why are there so many illegal leaks coming out of Washington?”
Flynn echoed that point. Asked Tuesday morning whether the leaks were targeted, coordinated and possibly a violation of the law, Flynn told Fox News: “Yes, yes and yes.”
National Security Council’s Keith Kellogg tapped to succeed Michael Flynn; David Petraeus floated as permanent replacement
Retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg served as the National Security Council chief of staff under Flynn and was tasked with overhauling the Defense Department under President Trump’s transition team.
