Super Bowl Goes Political

They just can’t help themselves. They are so inured in their own self-righteousness and need to destroy anyone who does not share their mindset any time they have an audience they whip out the empty platitudes and fiery passion to quash any independent thought. The Super Bowl has always been a showcase of the best NFL teams and the funniest commercials. Nowadays the commercials are made public weeks in advance of the event itself. I tried looking at some and, trust me, many are NOT for children or adults with any sense of shame. I will include a couple of the milder ones, but they tend to focus on immigration, lesbianism, and maybe some of the most disgusting Doritos commercials I’ve ever seen.

Why Can’t The Mainstream Media Understand That The Super Bowl Isn’t Political?

Many in the media like to feign being above the political fray as they talk about about the partisan divide separating not just political parties, but also so much of America into red- and blue-leaning precincts.

But then they step on what is a great coming together for America, the Super Bowl, by playing up the politics.
“Brady’s nonchalant neutrality is itself a political statement, one that says he’s either too rich to worry about how Trump’s whirlwind of chaos will affect his life, or worse, too indifferent about the rapidly diminishing prospects of those who are not. Of course, this same opinion piece referred to San Francisco 49ers’ quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s refusal to stand during the singing of the national anthem as “outright bravery.”

Flashback: Six Years of Obama Super Bowl Softballs
In 2016, when CBS News assigned Gayle King, a donor, supporter and friend of the Obama family, to interview the President and his wife before the Super Bowl, the network guaranteed one of the softest interviews in the history of this administration. Asking not one serious question, the journalist instead highlighted her favorite photo of the President and his wife. King also brought up dance moves, relationship issues and Super Bowl predictions.

“Born the Hard Way ”
The second-quarter ad became topical since it was released online Tuesday, just days after President Donald Trump signed an executive order to temporarily ban refugees and nearly all citizens from seven Muslim-majority countries. Anheuser-Busch, which started working on the ad in May, says the ad isn’t making a political statement.

Will Oscar Ratings Collapse in Age of Trump?
The dismal Oscar ratings for the 2016 telecast might look glorious after this year’s Trump-era show.
This weekend proved one thing beyond a doubt.
The upcoming Oscars telecast will be a three-plus hour rally for the Democrats. Both the Golden Globes and the SAG Awards were dress rehearsals for the main event. Let’s face it, the Oscars remain the preeminent awards gala for Hollywood types.

“I would be shocked but not surprised if she just stopped a song and went on an anti-Trump rant, but I don’t think it’s going to happen, because that’s very much a bridge-burning move,” Aswad said. “But at least as many people, if not more, would support a move like that than be angry with her for it.”

Secretive anti-Trump protests to erupt Super Bowl weekend in Houston
People representing more than a half-dozen protest groups that are set to march and rally here Super Bowl weekend met to coordinate their efforts — in a way New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick would have appreciated. That is to say, the protesters discussed using encrypted communication that would keep opponents from intercepting their messages.

Leftist Judges Appointed by Carter and Obama Block Trump’s Appeal for Reinstatement of Temporary Refugee Ban

Early this morning a US Appeals Court rejected President Trump’s appeal to immediately reinstate the travel ban executed by the administration.
The judges making the decision were appointed by Obama and Carter.

Appeals Court that denied DOJ’s appeal on Trump’s EO was 2/3 liberal who are now acting as activists instead of judges upholding the law

Calif. GOP Rep. escorted out by police after rowdy town hall

ROSEVILLE, Calif. — Congressman Tom McClintock, a Republican from California, on Saturday faced a rowdy crowd at a packed town hall meeting in Northern California, and had to be escorted by police as protesters followed him shouting “Shame on you!”

McClintock was constantly interrupted and booed as he defended his party’s national agenda during the hourlong event at a theater in downtown Roseville, the population center of his sprawling congressional district, the Sacramento Bee reports.

Obama Pentagon official says anti-Trump military coup now possible

Says Trump ‘as crazy as everyone feared’; claims military overthrow and ‘an insane order’ both ‘frightening’
In an editorial penned for Foreign Policy, senior Pentagon policy official Rosa Brooks publicly suggested a military insurrection against the Trump administration may be the only option to oust one of the most divisive presidents in American history.

“Donald Trump’s first week as president has made it all too clear: Yes, he is as crazy as everyone feared,” Ms. Brooks wrote. “[One] possibility is one that until recently I would have said was unthinkable in the United States of America: a military coup, or at least a refusal by military leaders to obey certain orders.”

Fake News. The article vastly overstates her credentials, describing her in paragraph two as a “senior Pentagon policy official” when she has not been at the Pentagon since 2011.

She also uses inflammatory language, suggesting President Trump is deranged and dangerous, then stating correctly that the military oath is to the Constitution, not the president.

Apparently, now that all efforts to block Trump have failed, the Left has “moved on” (by which I mean they are totally stuck in their Trump derangement) to violent protest — “Be Ungovernable” — and daydreaming about a military coup.

They can try the first, but it’ll just cost them the rest of the moderate Democrat vote. As for the second, BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! The military followed OBAMA’S orders. And they HATED him. Trump they like.

Not justifying it and somebody will get ripped a new one. But listening to the ominous music they chose, I couldn’t help thinking how triumphantly they would’ve played a clip like this 8 years ago over an Obama flag, which would’ve been equally inappropriate.

So WEIRD how they can be simultaneously having wet dreams over the military invading the White House and arresting or assassinating Trump, while being all ominous about this sign that some of the troops like him a lot. Military personality cults are DANGEROUS … pro-Trump or anti-Trump, pro-Obama or anti-Obama. The Left is so damn dumb, they don’t get that ANY of these would be bad for the country.

Fortunately, we have FIVE well-armed corps. Before I was a military mom, I thought the inter-corps rivalries were stupid. Now I realize they keep us safe, because they mean that no single leader can take over enough of the military to pose a danger to the Republic.

Your forthcoming book, “Tears We Cannot Stop,” is subtitled “A Sermon to White America.” Which part of white America do you envision reading it?
What’s your strategy for getting through to the white people who may not be particularly sympathetic? What I’ve seen under the wonderful presidency of Barack Obama is the tendency to not tell white people the truth, for obvious reasons

Thousands of white union soldiers DIED in the Civil War to end slavery. ALL of the men who voted for the 13th amendment were WHITE. I’m sick to death of this crap.

A Missouri sixth-grader wearing the iconic red baseball cap made famous during President Trump’s campaign became the center of a school bus scuffle after students ganged up on him for his choice of headgear.
“You want to build a wall?” one student yells in the clip. “You want to build a f–king wall?”
A spokesperson for the Parkway School District said the altercation was investigated and that all students involved have faced “consequences.”

The Press Eunuchs Rattling Their Cups

In Imperial China, the palace eunuchs were given cups (paos) in which their external genitalia were preserved in alcohol. Watching the once docile and obedient to Obama press continuing their rage at the new order reminded my friend Thomas Lipscomb of the scene in the movie The Last Emperor when the exiled eunuchs “proceed to demonstrate their anguish by waving their mummified masculinity and howling.” I cannot think of a better analogy to this week’s continuing media meltdown.

    Democrats Lie Down With Dogs

There does not seem to be a bottom to the depravity of progressives. The 100 million-plus people slaughtered on the altar of various forms of their political philosophy and tactics in the last 100 years haven’t caused them to pause even for a second. For the agenda of an all-encompassing government, nothing else matters.
