Ruh Roh! Released detainee says he likes Trump!

Liberal butthurt ensues.

One of the people temporarily detained at JFK airport by Trump’s Executive Order was a fellow named Hameed Khalid Darweesh, who had worked as an interpreter on behalf of the United States government in Iraq.

After he was cleared to enter the country, eager anti-Trumpers interviewed him, clearly hoping for some outraged soundbites.  But when they asked what he thinks of Trump, he said, “I like him.”

The woman in the clip with the “Oh Crap!” face is Rep. Nydia Velazquez (D-NY 7th District), who was ALL OVER the protest, sticking her face on camera and tweeting a stream of outrage.

Jan 28, 2017 tweets and quotes by Rep. Nydia Velazquez:
.@POTUS your latest Executive Order is an affront to our values and we will fight you in every way from Courts to Congress to Streets!
On way to JFK airport where refugees from Iraq are being detained under new Executive Order. These unconscionable actions cannot stand!
Spoke to customs and border supervisors in charge on site. They said they’re waiting for direction from DC Dept of Homeland Security to act.
At #JFK with @RepJerryNadler demanding release of refugees detained under new Executive Order.
“We will use every tool at our disposal to bring justice to America.”
“Mr. President, look at us. This is America. What you have done is shameful.”

Tweeters hootoed:
Now that’s just funny!
“Quick! To the narrative-mobile!”
@NydiaVelazquez that’s the classic “That isn’t what we wanted you to say!!” Face
Never try to organize a photo op before asking a few specific questions.
Liberals heads exploding right now.

Obama ended “wet foot, dry foot” for Cuban refugees

The left-wing’s rage over Trump’s immigration policy change is hypocritical, given that they had no problem whatsoever just a few weeks ago when Obama ended “wet foot, dry foot.”

This longstanding immigration policy allowed any Cuban who made it to U.S. soil to stay and become a legal resident.

Obama said that by sending unvetted Cubans back home, “We are treating Cuban migrants the same way we treat migrants from other countries.”

Actually … not so much, since Obama had a long-standing policy of requiring LEOs to ignore immigration law when it came to illegals who had come across the Rio Grande.

obama-terror-on-southern-border-toon

Personally, I think his attitude toward the latter was because those illegals tend to vote Democrat, even while they’re still illegal … something BTW that he TOLD THEM shortly before November’s election WAS A-OKAY.

As for banning Cuban refugees?  Well, they tend to become Americans and vote Republican.

Justin Trudeau, the Canadian glamourpuss whose star is steadily fading, proudly announced all the refugees the US deports are free to come live in Canada. No warm weather, no sun, no sandy beaches. There may be a few who are not so enthusiastic about more Muslims of late.

[CtH: Actually, they’re not free to come live in Canada.  Because Canada has, you know, immigration laws that the Prime Minister is supposed to uphold. And before you say “But Trump’s order is illegal”, from what I’ve read, he has merely instructed the appropriate authorities to carry out stuff that Congress passed and Obama ignored.]

Police arrest two students – one ‘of Moroccan origin’ – over the murder of six people shot dead in a Quebec City mosque carnage two days after Canadian PM condemned Trump immigration ban

  • Six people are dead after shots were fired at a Quebec City mosque where around 50 people were praying
  • Eight people injured in the mass shooting which happened inside the Quebec City Islamic Cultural Center
  • Witnesses have claimed they heard shouts of ‘Allahu akbar’ in a Quebecois accent from the masked shooters
  • Two people arrested over shooting, described by Canadian Prime Minister as a ‘terrorist attack on Muslims’
  • One suspect reportedly called police to ‘confess to his crime’ and was found ‘with handgun and two AK-47s’
  • The mosque’s president, Mohamed Yangui said of the atrocity: ‘Why is this happening here? This is barbaric’

THEY HAVE NOT IDENTIFIED THE TWO SUSPECTS, BUT THEY WISH WITH ALL THEIR MIGHT IT WAS AMERICANS.

[CtH: When my kid tried to get into Canada without a birth certificate or passport, she queried the border official why an American needed this, since we’re allies.  He said he had no way of knowing she is an American without proper I.D. and why should he let just anyone into his country. They also confiscated her pepper spray, because they apparently don’t hold with women being able to defend themselves with non-lethal weapons.  I was pissed.  I got it for her to keep her safe and it was expensive.]

MAYOR COMMIEPINKOFAG NEVER MISSES A CHANCE TO INSERT HIMSELF

[CtH: Wait … I thought cops were all racist pigs!  NOW they’re going to protect Muslims?  When did that happen, Oh Democrat Mayor?]

TWO RADIO NETWORKS BREATHLESSLY REPORTED THAT A PIGS HEAD WAS LEFT AT THIS MOSQUE DURING RAMADAN

ALTERNATIVE FACTS: Majority Of Mainstream Media Failed To Report That The Mosque Shooter Yelled ‘ALLAHU AKBAR’

Going through multiple websites at approximately midnight EST we quickly discovered that Associated Press, CNN, Reuters, ABC, CBS, NBC, The New York Times, and The Washington Post FAILED TO MENTION that the Quebec shooter yelled ‘Allahu Akbar’.

Fox News, Breitbart, and CBC reported the truth.

Ridiculous Republicans Raise My Blood Pressure!

So far, at least 19 Republicans have announced opposition to or questioned Trump’s executive order banning travelers and refugees from 7 countries from entering the U.S.  Their statements are mostly b.s. and lies.

my-grammy-read-the-eo

Sen. John McCain: “There’s so much confusion out there,” McCain said on “Face the Nation.” “Obviously this process and these conclusions were not vetted.” He warned the order could be used as propaganda by ISIS for recruiting.

[So instead of using your bully pulpit to INFORM VOTERS what’s actually in the executive order, you promote the Democrats’ hyperbole and fake news.  Well done, Senator RINO.  You schmuck.]

Rep. Carlos Curbelo: “I expect that these executive orders are in fact temporary and that once the Administration strengthens the vetting process, we can continue our tradition of welcoming those who are persecuted in an orderly manner and without any kind of religious test.”

[“I expect …”  Duh, yeah, cuz THAT’S WHAT THE EXECUTIVE ORDER SAYS, you ignorant blowhard!]

Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen: “I object to the suspension of visas from the seven named countries because we could have accomplished our objective of keeping our homeland safe by immediate implementation of more thorough screening procedures.”

[And all the years that Obama did NOT implement the screening procedures that were recommended, you were doing what with your mouth and your congressional position?]

Rep. Charlie Dent: “This is ridiculous. I guess I understand what his intention is, but unfortunately the order appears to have been rushed through without full consideration. You know, there are many, many nuances of immigration policy that can be life or death for many innocent, vulnerable people around the world.”

[Right.  Like that Iraqi guy who was killed waiting for his visa during Obama’s BAN ON REFUGEES FROM IRAQ.]

Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick: “While we certainly need to enhance our current vetting process and significantly reform our immigration policies to make sure terrorists are not exploiting our nation’s proud tradition of freedom and acceptance, the President’s policy entirely misses the mark.”

[And your plan would be what exactly?]

Rep. Justin Amash: “It’s not lawful to ban immigrants on basis of nationality. If the president wants to change immigration law, he must work with Congress.”

[Obama banned Iraqis.  Plus, coming in to this country is a privilege, not a right. Just like it is if one of us tries to go to some other country.  Plus, where were you when Obama was ordering LEOs to IGNORE IMMIGRATION LAW?]

Rep. Barbara Comstock: “The President’s Executive Order issued yesterday went beyond the increased vetting actions that Congress has supported.”

[Too bad none of you made any of that stuff happen while Obama was squatting in the WH.]

Sen. Susan Collins: “The worldwide refugee ban set forth in the executive order is overly broad and implementing it will be immediately problematic.

[Oh COME ON!! It’s not a “worldwide refugee ban”, you stupid cow!  It’s seven nations and it’s for a specific amount of time while we shore up our vetting process!  READ THE ORDER, DAMMIT!]

Sen. Jeff Flake: “It’s unacceptable when even legal permanent residents are being detained or turned away at airports and ports of entry.”

[And these legal permanent residents were, ummmm, lemme think, vetted and allowed in, right?  Oh yeah.  That’s what I thought.  So big f*ing deal.  Some folks got delayed at the airport.  Small price to pay to keep suicide bombers out.]

Sen. Ben Sasse: “If we send a signal to the Middle East that the U.S. sees all Muslims as jihadis, the terrorist recruiters win by telling kids that America is banning Muslims and that this is America versus one religion. Our generational fight against jihadism requires wisdom.”

[Asshat.  Don’t use a minute of your time in the press spotlight to CLARIFY what the order actually says, cuz that would be like, I dunno, too pro-Trumpish or something?]

Sen. Rob Portman: “This was an extreme vetting program that wasn’t properly vetted.”

[This is NOT A VETTING PROGRAM.  Did you even read the order?  I did!  It’s posted here:

http://edition.cnn.com/2017/01/28/politics/text-of-trump-executive-order-nation-ban-refugees/

And if that’s too COMPLICATED for you, Mr. Senator, cuz of all the big words, you can read the simplified version I wrote and posted here:

https://polination.wordpress.com/2017/01/29/protecting-u-s-from-terrorists/%5D

Sen. Cory Gardner: “I urge the Administration to take the appropriate steps to fix this overly broad executive order.”

[See what I said to Senator Portman.]

Sen. Bob Corker: “[T]his executive order has been poorly implemented, especially with respect to green card holders.”

[Green card holders aren’t affected.  Butthead.  READ THE DAMN ORDER!]

Sen. Lindsey Graham: “Such a hasty process risks harmful results…. And we should not turn our backs on those refugees who have been shown through extensive vetting to pose no demonstrable threat to our nation, and who have suffered unspeakable horrors, most of them women and children.” (in a statement with John McCain)

[The order allows for case-by-case exceptions.  READ THE DAMN ORDER!]

Rep. Elise Stefanik: “I oppose President Trump’s rushed and overly broad Executive Order.”

[READ THE DAMN ORDER!]

Sen. Lamar Alexander: “This vetting proposal itself needed more vetting.”

[Oh, wow.  THAT’s really perspicacious /sarc. Oh wait.  You’re too dumb to know any big words.  Well, google it.  Or do you not know how to use the internet?]

Rep. Will Hurd: “This visa ban is the ultimate display of mistrust and will erode our allies’ willingness to fight with us.”

[Bullsh*t.]

Rep. Mike Coffman: “While I’ve supported heightened vetting procedures for those wanting to travel to our country, I have never, nor will I ever support a blanket travel ban for people solely based on ethnic or religious grounds.”

[OH FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. READ THE DAMN ORDER.  IT ISN’T A BLANKET TRAVEL BAN AND IT DOES NOT TARGET ANYONE BY ETHNIC OR RELIGION. ARGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!]

Gov. John Kasich: “In probably many Arab capitals today, people are like, ‘What is America doing?’ He told WashPo.

[Why the hell don’t you use your exalted position as governor to INFORM THEM.  But lemme guess … you didn’t read the order yourself, right?  You just caught what some Democrat blowhard said on MSNBC?]

Stupid people don’t violate their own party’s wishes.  Corrupt people do.  And the most likely reason a corrupt person would say stupid and deceitful things that are in lock-step with the most extreme factions of the OTHER party is blackmail.

By their fruits we shall know them.  Their fruits tell me that Democrats have got something on these Ridiculous Republicans and will destroy their careers if they don’t march to the tunes played by the Progressive Nazi Collaborator George Soros.

John Q. McCain and Assholeciates

The “Q” stands for quisling (one of CtH’s favorite words).

This duplicitous turd has, for almost 50 years, lived on his ‘war hero’ status. As a U.S. senator and Washington insider, he’s gotten fat and very, very rich. He has long delighted in criticizing his own party to curry favor with his Democrat buddies, get invited on Sunday talk shows and the most trés, trés cocktail parties on the circuit. Just as sure as night follows day, he and his loyal, if largely effeminate sidekick, the whiny little Lindsey Graham, will defy the president just to get some attention.

19 Republicans criticize Trump’s immigration ban

So far, at least 19 Republicans have announced opposition to or questioned Trump’s executive order banning travelers and refugees from 7 countries from entering the U.S.

HERE’S HOW THE GAME IS PLAYED: THEY OPPOSE HIM UNTIL IT LOOKS LIKE IT’S HAVING AN IMPACT AND THE VOTERS APPROVE. THEY’LL CLIMB BACK ON THE BANDWAGON AND PRETEND THEY SUPPORTED IT ALL ALONG.  CHECK THE LIST. IT’S ALL THE USUAL SUSPECTS.

Trump accuses McCain and Graham of trying ‘to start World War III’ after they release joint statement calling his immigration ban ‘a self-inflicted wound in the fight against terrorism.’

[CtH: Where were they when Obama banned Iraqi refugees?]

Trump signed an executive order barring any non-U.S. citizen traveling from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia or Yemen from entering US for 90 days. Protests broke out, and the ACLU won a legal battle halting deportations on Saturday.

Republican Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham issued a joint statement. In it, they attacked Trump for punishing innocent people and failing to properly vet the policy, saying his ‘haste’ led to widespread confusion.

[CtH: No, their refusal to inform the public of the actual terms of the eo and the fake newsy coverage by the MSM has led to widespread confusion.]

They also pointed out ban could have the opposite effect on homeland security
‘This executive order sends a signal, intended or not, that America does not want Muslims coming into our country,’ they said.

[CtH: Or, they could be making statements reassuring everyone that America is not banning Muslims, but only trying to shore up our vetting process to protect our citizenry from terrorists.  But then, that might interfere with the money George Soros slips into their back pockets.  Or maybe it’s the blackmail folders the Democrats have on them that makes them behave like traitors.]

Trump denied accusations of religious discrimination and lashed out on Twitter. The president fell back on his usual tactic against critics and suggested they focus their energies elsewhere ‘instead of always looking to start World War III’.

I’VE HAD THIS STORED FOR AWHILE.  THIS WILL TELL YOU WHO ‘WAR HERO’ JOHN McCAIN REALLY IS. YOU PROBABLY DIDN’T KNOW THE WHOLE SORDID STORY.

The REAL John McCain – Bully, Traitor, Liar, Adulterer and Warmongering Criminal by Roland C. Eyears [February 28, 2008]

It is now clear that what is left of the Republicon Party, after being fatally poisoned by the Bush administration, intents to commit suicide by nominating Senator John McCain (R-Hanoi) for the presidency. Where do I start?

Had he not been the son and grandson of admirals, there is scant chance he would have been admitted to the U.S. Naval Academy. Given his behavior patterns and academics, had he not been the son and grandson of admirals, there is little doubt he would have been thrown out. Instead, in 1958 he managed to graduate 894 out of 899. Had he not been the son and grandson of admirals, there is no chance he would have been accepted into the prestigious naval flight training program over far better qualified officers. On his way to becoming a North Vietnamese ace, the aviator lost 3 expensive aircraft on routine, non-combat flights. Little was made of all that, because he was, you know, the son and grandson of admirals.

McCain’s 5½-year stay at the Hanoi Hilton (officially Hoa Loa Prison) has ever since been the subject of great controversy. He maintains that he was tortured and otherwise badly mistreated. One of many who disagree is Dennis Johnson, imprisoned at Hanoi and never given treatment for his broken leg. He reports that every time he saw McCain, who was generally kept segregated, the man was clean-shaven, dressed in fresh clothes, and appeared comfortable among North Vietnamese Army officers. He adds that he frequently heard McCain’s collaborative statements broadcast over the prison’s loud speakers.

On October 26, 1967, McCain’s A-4 Skyhawk was shot down over Hanoi. The fractures of 1 leg and both arms were reportedly due to his failure to tuck them in during ejection.

COME ON UP. HERE’S A CHECK.

Teaming again with Teddy Kennedy, at al, the senator from Hanoi sponsored an amnesty bill for illegal aliens. A top aide, Juan Hernandez previously held a cabinet level position with ex-president of Mexico Vincente Fox. This dual citizen is on record as favoring “Mexico First.” McCain supports open borders.

Personalities aside, I’m not certain how much difference it makes. McCain has essentially endorsed Hillary. According to him, “She has integrity,” and “I have no doubt that she would be a good president.” He likes, really likes the woman, and says, “I think she’s a very good person.” Meanwhile, Barack Hussein Obama’s policies differ not one whit from Hillary’s. So that’s a popularity contest.
