What I know About Women

Any man who says he has women figured out is either lying or on very strong hallucinogens. Much of my knowledge of the species was bought and paid for through three divorces and giving away tens of thousands of dollars worth of stuff I bought but some divorce court judge figured I really didn’t need.
A couple salient points:
Never argue with a woman because you’ll never win.
If you try to say anything after she gets the last word, you’ve just started the next argument.
When speaking to young men about to commit marriage:
Learn a few short responses: yes dear; you’re right; I was wrong; I’ll try to do better.
Don’t ever think you’re punishing her by withholding sexual favors. She’ll have you on all fours begging before very long.

Story I heard long ago:

A Texan who stood about 6’5″ married a sweet young thing, all of 4’10”. On their wedding night they checked into the motel where he proceeded to lay down the law:
“What I say goes. You’ll have a drink ready and my dinner cooked every night by the time I get home. You’ll do what you’re told, when you’re told and no backtalk. I’ll give you an allowance to run the house on. Don’t ask for a dime more.”
She promptly took off her panties, a size 3.
“Here,” she said,”put these on.”
The Texan scoffed,”Are you kidding? I can’t get into these!”
“And that’s the way it’s going to stay until that attitude changes.”

Abortionist Quits After St. Thomas Aquinas Visits Him in a Dream

Stojan Adasevic, a Serbian abortionist when Serbia was still a communist country, managed to kill 48,000 children in utero in his 26 years as a purveyor of death.

But that’s all in the past due to a remarkable series of dreams in which he says St. Thomas Aquinas opened his eyes to the truth about abortion.

It seems he kept dreaming about a beautiful field full of children and young people who were playing and laughing, but who ran away from him in fear. Also in the dream was a man dressed in a black and white habit who just stared at him in silence.

Each night, Dr. Adasevic would wake up in a cold sweat.  Then, one night, he asked the man in black and white his name.

“My name is Thomas Aquinas.”

Dr. Adasevic, educated in atheistic communist schools, did not recognize the Dominican saint’s name.

Then he asked his nightly visitor, “Who are these children?”

“They are the ones you killed with your abortions.”

At this, Dr. Adasevic awoke in shock and fear.

When he notified his hospital that he would no longer perform abortions, the reaction was swift and severe.  His salary was cut in half, his daughter was immediately fired from her job, and his son was not allowed to matriculate into the state university.

Just as he was about to give into the government’s demand to perform abortions again, Dr. Adasevic had another dream in which St. Thomas assured him of his friendship.

Dr. Adasevic now practices the Orthodox faith, has a strong devotion to St. Thomas Aquinas, and is one of Serbia’s most important pro-life voices.

MYTH: The Bible says “Don’t judge”

This is wrong. What the Bible actually says is “Judge correctly.”

CMP is vindicated!

CMP is the Center for Medical Progress, a front company created by David Daleiden et al. before going undercover to expose the illegal buying and selling of baby parts.

In the CMP exposé, StemExpress was outed as being neck deep in bartering and buying baby parts from Planned Parenthood abortuaries.

StemExpress, which had sued CMP, just dropped its suit and is walking away with nothing.

“StemExpress was the first of Planned Parenthood’s accomplices to file a retaliatory lawsuit against citizen journalists and the first to seek an unconstitutional prior restraint on our First Amendment rights to speak and publish,” notes CMP Project Lead David Daleiden. “Now, the video is out for all the world to see, StemExpress faces criminal referral in multiple jurisdictions, and they are walking away from their own lawsuit empty-handed.”

“This victory for free speech and citizen journalism was made possible by our masterful and indefatigable legal representation in this case by Chuck LiMandri at the Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund, and Katie Short at Life Legal Defense Foundation. StemExpress’ surrender sends an unmistakable message to Planned Parenthood, the National Abortion Federation, and all their political cronies who would dare to attack the First Amendment to cover up their crimes.”

Kurt Russell is a gentleman

These ladies must have a giant crush on him.  (What woman doesn’t!?)  It’s the only reason I can think of to explain why the usually rude, pro-gun control witches on The View actually let him explain his pro-Second Amendment position and then nodded and agreed with him!

Kurt Russell on Gun Control Remarks | The View [2:41]

Other reasons I like Russell are things I heard on DVD commentaries.  One was a director who said he was a great guy to work with, the kind of man who, between takes, would just pick up equipment and help move it to where it needed to be next.

Also, during the filming of Overboard, when Goldie Hawn told the director she was not going to jump off the yacht again, Russell reminded her she was being paid an obscene amount of money to play act and she was going to do what the director wanted her to do.

Another thing was something he said about why he stopped doing the kind of action movies he did when he was a studly young actor.  “Who wants to watch a man over 50 doing that stuff?  I don’t want to!  So, no, I don’t do it any more.”  Quoted from memory and probably wildly inaccurate as to words, but the gist is about right.

Thank you, Kentucky!

Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin kept his campaign promises by signing bills that previous Democrat majorities had trashed repeatedly and that the new Republican majority fast-tracked into law.

They include:

The Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (SB5) goes into effect immediately to protect preborn babies from abortion from the time they can experience pain, at about 20 weeks or earlier. The only exception is if the mother’s physical health is in danger.  Similar bills are in effect in 15 other states.

The Informed Consent bill (HB2) goes into effect immediately to require a mother to have an ultrasound before she has an abortion. Mothers are not required, however, to look at the ultrasound of their baby and they may choose to have the sound of their baby’s heartbeat muted.

The Right to Work Act which made Kentucky the 27th state to ban unions from forcing workers to becoming members or to pay mandatory dues.

Other bills require the retirement benefits packages of legislators be made public, repeal the state’s special wage law for public works contractors, and abolish the current Board of Trustees at the troubled University of Louisville.
