Friday Potpourri

THE OPINIONS EXPRESSED IN THIS POST ARE SOLELY THOSE OF THE AUTHOR AND IN NO WAY REFLECT THOSE OF MANAGEMENT OR ANY OTHER ADMINISTRATOR.

Just a few thoughts.

The United States has a sordid past of violence and racial tension. It was an ugly time, rife with ages-old prejudices, especially in the segregated South. It is ironic that the perpetrators of most of the violence against blacks belong to the same party they slavishly follow directives from today. A number of enterprising hucksters figured out how to profit from the racism, real or imagined, that democrats use to their advantage. One of the earliest examples I can recall is the living monument to race-pimping, Al Sharptongue. He came to prominence pushing a blatant fraud with Tawana Brawley, besmirching good people in the process and later causing a death at Freddie’s Fashion Mart. All the while he’s been a tax scofflaw who, along with Jesse Jackass, has made millions extorting successful corporations, threatening chaos if they are not paid off.

The accusations of racism against whites are common and usually turn out to be hoaxes, designed to cash in liberal “white guilt.” Racial slurs scrawled on campus walls, “nooses” hanging from trees that turned out to have held balloons from a previous party, and a victim wanna-be accusing four white lacrosse players at Duke University. It turned out to be another lie, but those men’s lives were ruined, with the enthusiastic support of much of the school’s faculty.

Pastor Who Lied About Gay Slur on Cake Drops Suit Against Whole Foods and Apologizes

The media is reporting on yet another hoax, “A gay Austin preacher says he ordered a cake with ‘Love Wins’ from Whole Foods. He says he got ‘Love wins, Fag.’”

Although anything in possible in this crazy world, this story has all of the telltale signs of a hoax:

It fits a narrative. (Everyone hates gays.)
The “victim” hired a lawyer within hours.
The “victim” took his story to a friendly journalist.
The “victim” destroyed evidence.
The letters don’t match.
Add to the story some real life facts. Austin, Texas is the most liberal city outside of San Francisco, and Whole Foods is as left-wing as it gets. Do you really believe that an employee at a Whole Foods in a liberal city wrote “fag” on a cake?

The Texas pastor who sued Whole Foods in April for allegedly writing a gay slur on a cake he bought withdrew his lawsuit on Monday and apologized to the supermarket chain for perpetrating a hoax, KVUE reported.

Black Iowa Student Starts Fight, Loses, Makes Up Hate Crime, Gets Caught

A savage hate crime at the University of Iowa that sent shockwaves across campus turned out to be just another hoax, police said Tuesday.

Owens and his family have issued an apology, blaming his actions on a mixture of alcohol and embarrassment.

RACISM FOR FUN AND PROFIT

Home Depot Employee and Bernie Supporter Wearing “America Was Never Great” Hat Photo Goes Viral, Stirs Up the Social Media Masses

“Bernie gonna get me $15.00 an hour and a free college education.”

“The point of the hat was to say America needs changing and improvement,” Lake says. “I don’t think it’s a positive message to say, ‘Let’s look to the past.’” She also notes that she’s sure she rubbed a lot of Staten Islanders the wrong way because the area is such a Trump stronghold. “Trump is very rash and in your face, but when someone else has a message against him, his supporters can’t take the criticisms,” says Lake, a media studies major at the College of Staten Island.

HAVE YOU KEPT UP WITH HOW BERNIE BACKERS BEHAVE?

IT IS AN UNFORTUNATE FACT THAT PEOPLE OF PALLOR WHO ARE VERY REAL VICTIMS OF RACE HATRED ARE GIVEN NO NOTE. THERE’S NO MONEY OR POLITICAL PROFIT TO BE HAD.

Civil Rights Fighter: Offensive To Compare Fight For Civil Rights With Transgender Fight

Clarence Henderson, far right, was one of the N.C. A&T College students to occupy lunch counter seats at a Greensboro Woolworth’s in 1960. He says there’s no comparison between Jim Crow and HB2.

Recently, U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch compared HB2 to Jim Crow. Jim Crow laws were put into place to keep an entire race positioned as second-class citizens. HB2 simply says that men and women should use the restroom of their biological sex in government buildings and schools. This comparison is highly offensive and utterly disrespectful to those families and individuals who have shed blood and lost lives to advance the cause of civil rights. I take this as a personal slap in the face because I was an active participant in the civil rights movement.

Hillary Clinton Dodges Trump Accusations of Her Husband Bill Clinton Committing ‘Rape’

On Thursday Hillary Clinton dodged the accusations–

Hillary Clinton responded Thursday to Donald Trump’s Wednesday comments about a decades-old, unproven accusation of sexual assault by Bill Clinton.

“I am not afraid of Donald Trump. He can attack me as much as he wants – I know I can take it. But we won’t let his attacks against Americans based on their ethnicity, their gender or the faith they practice go unanswered,” Hillary wrote Thursday in a fundraising email titled, “Are you with me, against Trump?”

BREAKING: Hillary Campaign Accused of Mass Cheating in Kentucky Primary– 4,000 Votes Scratched to Give Hillary Win
IT’S HOW SHE PLANS TO WIN
According to several reports the Hillary Clinton Campaign cheated in order to give her the win in Kentucky.

In Pike County Kentucky, card readers reportedly malfunctioned and votes were fully erased.

The Pike County Clerk’s office told local Kentucky station WKYT there were issues with one of their card readers which caused a delay in the numbers and as a result, the AP then erased Sanders’ votes, pushing Hillary to the lead by over 4,000 votes.

According to Real Clear Politics Clinton eventually received 212,550 votes in Kentucky to Bernie Sanders’ 210,626 votes for a difference of only 1,924 votes. The 4,000 vote discrepancy gave Clinton the Primary.

There were more than 76 reports of election fraud in 31 different counties called into Kentucky’s Attorney General hotline during the closely contested Democrat primary, according to Attorney General Andy Beshear. The Sanders campaign was expectedly outraged by the reports which were similar to what has occurred in other states – and many are pointing the finger at the Clinton campaign.

Mitchell Refers to Rape Accusation Against Bill Clinton as ‘Discredited’
YOU CAN EXPECT A VIGOROUS DEFENSE FROM THE MEDIA WHORES
NBC reporter Andrea Mitchell referred to the 1978 rape accusation against Bill Clinton by Juanita Broaddrick as “discredited” Thursday during a report for The Today Show.

HE DENIED THE RAPE THE ONE AND ONLY TIME HE WAS EVER ASKED ABOUT IT BY SAM DONALDSON.THEN IT WAS DROPPED AND NEVER MENTIONED AGAIN.UNTIL TRUMP.

Clinton rape accuser blasts ‘biased’ NBC anchor
Juanita Broaddrick: Network’s correspondent ‘Lisa Myers actually warned me about Andrea’ Mitchell

Of all mainstream journalists, the one she spoke to recently on the phone, seeking an update from Broaddrick on the rape incident and its aftermath, was NBC’s Andrea Mitchell.

How ironic, then, when Thursday, Mitchell said on-air that Broaddrick’s rape allegation, first televised by her own network in a sensational “Dateline” segment in 1999, had been “discredited.”

“Lisa Myers actually warned me about Andrea,” Broaddrick told WND today, responding to Mitchell’s comment essentially calling her a liar.

And if NBC now thinks my experience has been ‘discredited,’” Broaddrick continued, “why would Andrea Mitchell call me to ask me for any new information about my encounter with Hillary after the assault? And why wouldn’t Andrea Mitchell have written her own news story explaining exactly how I’ve been discredited? Lisa Myers actually warned me about Andrea. Andrea is obviously mad at me for exposing her rudeness and bias when she called me this year. I think being a lapdog for Hillary

Dems Yell ‘Shame!’ As GOP Votes Against Gay Rights Bill

Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney (D-NY) was enraged after his Republican colleagues defeated his amendment to uphold President Obama’s executive order that prohibits workplace discrimination against the LGBT community. Because seven Republicans decided to change their minds, his measure, which was tagged on to a spending bill, was defeated by a vote of 213-212.

Democrats let the GOP know how upset they were, chanting “Shame! Shame!” on the House floor after the vote.
The GOP, however, argue they were acting to defend employers’ religious freedom and rejected the insinuation that they are a party of discrimination.

“There are some people who are emotional … that’s beyond the pale. They can say whatever they want to but that’s beyond the pale,” said Rep. Bill Flores, R-Texas, asked about Democrats saying Republicans were a party of hate. “This country has a First Amendment that protects religious liberties, and that’s all we were doing is protecting that.”

Milwaukee custard shop owner is forced to drop ‘English-only’ ordering policy amid possible federal investigation and boycotts

LEON’S WAS THE INSPIRATION FOR ‘ARNOLD’S’ ON THE TV SHOW HAPPY DAYS.

Ron Schneider, owner of Leon’s Frozen Custard, was forced to drop policy
Employees will now be allowed to speak other languages to take orders
‘English-only’ policy became public after a Spanish-speaking customer was told by Spanish-speaking employee that she had to take order in English

The controversy started on Tuesday, when Joey Sanchez overheard an employee interact with a Spanish-speaking customer.

She whispered to him in Spanish ‘I`m not allowed to speak Spanish to you,” Sanchez told Fox 6.

Sanchez, who was next in line, placed his order in Spanish and the employee gave him the same response.

The Wisconsin chapter of the League of United Latin American Citizens said the policy violated federal labor law and the organization is calling for a government investigation.

‘The United States of America does business in English,’ a Leon’s customer said.

‘They’re living here, working here for Lord knows how long and they haven’t even bothered to learn the language?’ Louise Bozek told Fox6.

Judge in Obama Amnesty Case: Conduct of DOJ Not Worthy of Word ‘Justice’

SO THIS JUSTUS DEPARTMENT HAS TOTAL CONTEMPT FOR THE RULE OF LAW…WHAT ELSE IS NEW?
Judge Andrew Hanen, a federal district court judge in Brownsville, Texas, added, “Suffice it to say, the citizens of all fifty states, their counsel, the affected aliens and the judiciary all deserve better.” He opined that the DOJ “purports to represent all Americans — not just those who are in favor of whatever actions the Department is seeking to prosecute or defend. The end result never justifies misconduct.”
    IT DOES TO THIS BUNCH
He noted that the DOJ “has now admitted making statements that clearly did not match the facts. It has admitted that the lawyers who made these statements had knowledge of the truth when they made these misstatements.” The DOJ provided only the explanation that its lawyers “lost focus” or that the “fact[s] receded in memory or awareness.”

Hanen said that the misrepresentations were made on “multiple occasions” and that the lawyers engaged in this behavior “starting with the very first hearing this Court held.”

Clinton Declares Democratic Primary Over: ‘There Is No Way That I Won’t Be’ the Nominee

THE FIX HAS BEEN IN SINCE DAY ONE
Hillary Clinton objected to CNN host Chris Cuomo stating “if” she would be the Democratic nominee during their interview Thursday, interrupting to say she had the nomination in the bag.

“So you get into the general election, if you’re the nominee for your party—” Cuomo said.

“I will be the nominee for my party, Chris,” Clinton said. “That is already done, in effect. There is no way that I won’t be.”

Michelle Obama gets her way on nutrition labels

THE STINK REMAINS LONG AFTER THE SKUNK HAS GONE

The new Nutrition Facts labels, which will take effect in two years and appear on billions of food packages, for the first time require food companies to list how much sugar they add to their products and suggest a limit for how much added sugar people should consume — two changes vehemently opposed by many food companies.

The impact of the rule is difficult to overstate — labels on products from candy bars and sodas to crackers and cereal, at every point of sale across America, must be overhauled at an estimated cost of $2 billion. And those labels will remind Americans every time they open a package of how much added sugar they are consuming.

  9. Another great job, Pete. Some up-top thoughts:

    1) We should enact a 50-year rule for political affiliations. Just because the Dems launched the KKK 150 years ago doesn’t mean that organization continues to accurately reflect the Democrat Party, in the same way the GOP of Ronald Reagan has almost nothing in common with the GOP of Paul Ryan or Donald Trump. Let’s cut everybody some slack on what their great-great-great grandparents were up to.

    2) A personal bugaboo: to my knowledge the KKK hasn’t committed an act of violence this century. On the other hand, black gangs have likely committed a dozen acts of violence against both blacks and whites already today. Let’s stop vilifying the KKK. I know it’s a radical suggestion, but (a) it’s not supported by contemporary evidence, and (b) it plays into Marxist propaganda (“F* Whitey”). Are we still milking 1904?

Even regarding the antebellum South, it’s impossible to uncover the real story about lynchings and cross-burnings. I tried, and it’s nowhere on Google. I ordered a half-dozen or so books from Kindle on slavery, but the picture is always incomplete. And of course Hollywood’s no help at all, since Marxists hate Whitey (you know, the same people who cured polio and invented the airplane…?)

Did white guys just randomly pull some black dude off the street in 1895 and string him up? Or was there a prior crime involved, e.g. rape? No one’s talking; black people a hundred years ago committed no crimes. Was the KKK evil for hanging a rapist? A different narrative emerges.

    3) The original race huckster wasn’t Al Sharpton, it was Martin Luther King, who plagiarized his “I Have A Dream” speech, and whom his good friend Ralph Abernathy said had either two or three liaisons with different women the day before he died. And a different mistress in every city. So, Another Black “Reverend.” (BTW Sharpton is a reverend like Rachel Dolezal is a BLM spokesperson: basically self-anointed.)

    4) You list black hoaxes but fail to mention the “fag” pastor is also black. And like Sharpton, not really a “pastor” (“Church of the Open Doors?” Really? Why not “The Holy Sepulchre of Spongebob Squarepants?”) I’m assuming he got the “fag” part right, so one outta three …

    5) We should mention race in every crime incident; as Ann Coulter says, we can’t allow the headlines to read “Police on the Lookout for Man” when the perp is black or brown. One of the first ways to take back our country is acknowledge the overwhelming percentage of social chaos is caused by black or brown men age 15-35. It’s simple enough to prove: no matter in what city you abide, watch the local newscast this evening and note the race of the aggressors. I’m not making it up — everybody knows it, but we can’t talk about it. Until we acknowledge the problem we’ll never get a solution.

    6) Ms. Lake says “when someone else has a message against [Trump], his supporters can’t take the criticisms.” No hon, your hat says “America was never great,” not Trump. The overwhelming majority of blacks don’t feel connected to America in any way (even our First Lady was never proud of her country). When you’ve got nothing to lose, no emotional investment, you can burn the whole damn thing to the ground and have a sandwich afterward.

As mentioned, Whitey can’t grasp the black community’s perception of this country, which ain’t much. And I’m assuming Ms. Lake has a black supervisor, ’cause otherwise I can’t imagine getting that hat approved for the workplace.

Sorry it’s so long, but Chrissy pays me by the word and mama needs new shoes … 😉
