Planned Parenthood Shooting

Since the Left makes it impossible to simply grieve violence these days, one is forced to respond to their lies again and again and again.  It’s so old, but what is a blogger to do?

The Colorado Planned Parenthood shooter isn’t a violent anti-choicer who was driven to violence by YouTube videos. He is a mentally disturbed man who has come up against law enforcement many times for charges ranging from voyeurism, cruelty to animals, and physical violence against neighbors and his ex-wife. His domiciles were filthy and run down. People describe him as aloof, weird, disturbed, and somebody to avoid.

One neighbor said, “He complained about everything. He said he worked with the government, and everybody was out to get him, and he knew the secrets of the U.S.A. He said, ‘Nobody touch me, because I’ve got enough information to put the whole U.S. of A in danger.’ It was very crazy.”

Prayers for the repose of souls of the deceased, for comfort for those who mourn their loss, and for the swift and full recovery of those who were injured.

  1. Chrissy, you will never reach them. Have you ever tried to argue with an alcoholic? Same thing:

    Here’s a sample post from today’s (11/29) Daily Kos:

Watching coverage of the shootings at the Colorado Springs, Co. Planned Parenthood this weekend, which followed the shooting of five Black Lives Matter protesters in Minneapolis, the beating of another BLM protestor by Trump supporters, the recently FBI foiled white supremacist plot to bomb black churches, investigation of facebook threats against Muslims , and an Irving, Texas Mosque being stalked and publicly outed by armed protesters there’s seems to be one thing the news media is afraid to say. [snip]

“Radical Terrorism” just doesn’t seem to come to mind when the killers are white and/or Christian.

As my own diary just last Sunday essentially predicted this kind of radical right-wing — and largely Christian inspired — violence was not only around the corner, but was already taking place and by all indications is likely to escalate. [snip]

Of all the phony attacks and accusations made against Planned Parenthood by a new generation of anti-choice activists like James O’ Keefe and Lila Grace Rose, the videos created by former O’Keefe confederate David Daleiden raised the bar — or lowered it depending on how you view them — on over the top accusations intended to fire up Christian conservatives and embolden lawmakers to do all they can to destroy Planned Parenthood. [snip]

The primary lie promoted by those videos was that Planned Parenthood was forcibly harvesting fetal body parts for medical research when in fact those body parts are donated and Planned Parenthood was formerly charging only for their storage. Five States have investigated these allegations and have discovered nothing.
My own editorial take on this whack-a-doodle:

“… the shooting of five BLM protesters…” conveniently leaves out that shots were first fired from the protesters, to say nothing of the murders, volence and property damage over the past year in BLM’s wake.

“… the beating of another BLM supporter by Trump supporters …” is so ridiculous I won’t even comment on its distortion of evidence, since everyone has already seen the videotape.

All his other accusations of Christian terrorism involve threats. No violence. No action. Words. Meanwhile Muslims around the world have committed more than a hundred separate acts of violent terrorism in the two weeks since Paris (ref. Islam: Religion of Peace blog)

Chrissy, Progressives are of Satan. They SEETHE in the absence of God. People who claim there is no hell should spend a couple minutes inside the turbulent cauldron of the liberal mind. They sense the Peace of the Lord in others, and they despise them for it, but the arrogance of Self disallows them coming in humility and subjugation to the Throne.

I used to be a raging, flaming liberal. And I was never wrong about anything.

Now I’m an extreme conservative, and I’m wrong about everything. Therein, I suspect, lies the path to Wisdom. It’s certainly the path to Peace.

We are truly a nation divided, and I no longer believe reconciliation is possible.

    • Thanks for that window into the DailyKos, Jane. I peer into a lot of dark places, but they’re not one of them – for good reason – but it’s good to see a bit now and then. Holy crap.

I agree with you about reconciliation. It’s not possible. Best we can hope for is a divorce with enforced separation. Maybe even a 12-foot wall. I just don’t know where we could go that they wouldn’t already claim to “own.”

Heaven, dear one. Heaven. This is why I preach so often about the Rapture.

        Today’s verse is so apropos.

2 Peter 3:10-11 “But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives”

My niece shared something my brother, Tony, wrote years ago. (He has since died of brain cancer.) I passed it on to my girls and Mama Buzz wrote this back, “Thank you for sharing what Uncle Tony wrote…I’m looking forward to getting to know him and so many others on New Earth!” This is the joy we have in Christ, knowing He has promised us an eternity without evil.

Jane, I blog for two audiences … the choir that needs encouragement amid the constant barrage of lies and the pure of heart who have finally seen through their lies.
