Saudi-Born Singer, Shams Bandar, Flees to the West to Escape the “Hell of the Arab World”

Somebody should tell her that Barack is busy duplicating that ‘Hell’ right here, so she better hurry.

Shams is a very brave woman who has already been called a traitor to the Arab people many times for her views. In this video, the interviewer insists that the USA and UK can be no better, and that we “caused the catastrophes of the (Arab) peoples.” She points out that Arabs have been slaughtering each other for 1400 years. America has been around for less than 300. How is it that we are responsible for all their catastrophes? The lady makes a good point. I hope she survives the next few months. This video is also particularly interesting for it’s commentary about the current Syrian crisis. Hat tip: Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler.

Stupid stuff

In case you were wondering what nascent feminazis think you should be mad about today … an 18-something college student says via HuffPo that the word “too” is sexist, that it constantly deprives women of self-satisfaction and appreciation.  I think I hear Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Sojourner Truth rolling over in their graves.

BENGHAZI sweeping under rug

I like Tom Quiner’s piece on Hillary’s testimony, particularly since he spared me the agony of actually reading or, worse, listening to any of it. He addresses his critique to Her “It’s My Turn” Majesty:

I don’t like the fact that you lied about the root cause of the Benghazi attack.

I don’t like the way that you blamed it on an American-made YouTube video instead of on a Muslim-made planned terrorist attack, when you KNEW Muslims were the bad guys, not some doofus American.

I don’t like it when you said you lost sleep over the loss of American life in Benghazi. And yet you didn’t give Ambassador Stevens your e-mail when he was begging for increased security. You didn’t stick around while our embassy burned, but instead you went home for some shut eye.

I don’t like it that you didn’t talk to then-Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta or Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Martin Dempsey during or immediately after the attack.

I don’t like that you said you didn’t use left-wing partisan attack dog, Sidney Blumenthal as an advisor, when you clearly did.

I don’t like it that you said you were transparent about your e-mails, when even the State Department admits you weren’t.

I don’t like it when you said Ambassador Stevens felt “comfortable on the ground” when his team asked for more security 600 times.

In other words, Hillary, I don’t enjoy your deceit.

And that’s the honest truth.

I have been having a lot of trouble with sites that refuse to finish loading no matter how long I wait.  Sometimes they just hang up, but often they send an endless stream of “script error” messages.  Sometimes a site has proven so stubborn that I have been forced to crash my browser completely to close it. Sometimes, the problem crashes my internet connection for me.  All most annoying!

Today, I googled “stop script error” and found YesScript, a small, free, add-on that WORKS. It puts a little icon into the status bar. If a site is hanging, I can click on the icon and activate a “stop scripts” order for that site, and only that site. And doggone by golly gee whiz … it just worked on Twitchy!! It also has speeded up my Facebook load by a LOT.  Maybe now I can go to National Review and Breitbart too! Squee!

Yes, I really am going to go here again

The CNBC GOP debate has really stuck with me, I think because it is like a little morality play about why our nation is failing.

The Media Research Center analyzed the questions.
