Well, that’s what the Donald fan club has taken to calling itself. Relax, there’s so much Trump stuff I’m doing two separate posts. As you can well imagine, Trump was all over the talking heads shows yesterday. They love him. They can make fun of him while he’s beating up on other republicans so they don’t need to do it.
I for one took issue with the verbal attacks launched by the Fox inquisitors. I always thought debates were questions posed to some or all of the participants, not singling out one candidate for examination. I wish Trump would have said: Megyn, I’ll be happy to come on your show to answer personal questions, but a debate should be an open forum. Of course, he didn’t, because he craves the attention.
It’s looking more and more to me that The Donald is a plant to create chaos and fully intends to go third party if he doesn’t get the nomination, which I don’t see happening. Hopefully he implodes and people see him for the charlatan he is. In an interview he made the comment ‘she had blood coming out of her eyes, she had blood coming out of wherever.’ Of course, people took that as a woman’s monthly cycle. He came back with: if you think that, you have a dirty mind, or something along those lines.
Hopefully the feeding frenzy will subside but given Trump’s reputation for showmanship I don’t see that happening.

Donald Trump: “I Cherish Women. I Am Going to Do Things For Women No Other Candidate Will Be Able to Do”

Donald Trump joined Jake Tapper Sunday morning to discuss his campaign.
Trump responded to his critics in the media and GOP field.

“Jeb was very negative about women’s health. And when your negative on women’s health you can forget about it. I cherish women. I want to help women. I am going to do things for women that no other candidate will be able to do. And it’s very important to me. So its sort of interesting. He then went back and started apologizing the following day… She was very angry because I bested her with a question that was a very unfair question.”

Trump: ‘I Went to the Wharton School of Finance,’ Do You Really Think I’d Imply Megyn Kelly Was Having Her Period?
“Let me just ask you a question, sir. Do you — I understand you’re saying that you did not mean to suggest that Megyn Kelly was having her period,” Tapper said.
“I do all this stuff,” Trump said. “Do you think I make a stupid statement like that? Who would make a statement like that? Only a sick person would even think about it.”

Tsunami of Breitbart News Radio Callers ‘Outraged, Disgusted’ Over Fox GOP Presidential Debate

None of the hottest political topics discussed on the shows spurred caller volume, excitement, and outrage more than Thursday night’s GOP presidential debate hosted by Fox News. Below are comments from several of our callers weighing in on Sunday’s program:
Steve in Mississippi: “There’s been a lot of focus on Megyn Kelly but Chris Wallace was in on this too… And don’t tell me Bret Baier didn’t know who was going to raise his hand after the first question about third party and supporting one of the Republican’s on stage… I think they were trying to get rid of Trump from the get go… I was a supporter of Megyn Kelly, especially when she supported the Muhammad art show in Texas and Bill O’Reilly trashed it. That is up until now where she went after Trump with this BS….I think it was Megyn Kelly who turned the comment about the girl on her knees into a sexual thing.”

Mary Anne in Ohio: “I’m a sixty-two year old woman and when I heard that debate, I wanted to take that Snarky B-I-T-C-H and B**ch-slap her. If I could have pulled her out of the TV, I would have done so.”

TV’s Campaign ’16 News: An Avalanche of Trump Coverage, Not Much for Others

There are currently 17 declared candidates for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, but viewers of the three broadcast evening news shows this year have mainly heard about just two of them: former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, and New York businessman Donald Trump.

And even though Trump received virtually no TV news attention until he officially declared on June 16, he’s received far more network news coverage in just the last six weeks than Bush has received all year.

Carson: Political incorrectness not excuse for being ‘mean’

Sunday morning talk show hosts asked all the Republican candidates what they thought of Donald Trump’s confrontation with Fox News host Megyn Kelly during the GOP debates, and as an outspoken critic of political correctness, former neurosurgeon Ben Carson’s reply Sunday was notable.

“I think there may be a difference between political correctness and, you know, courteous speech,” Carson said on CBS’ “Face the Nation.” “In no way do I advocate saying mean things about people.”

Trump Is No Friend of Free Market Health Care

Most of Donald Trump’s public statements include the rote declaration that Obamacare is a disaster. This is true, of course, but it doesn’t tell us anything new. It’s only when he starts elaborating on his objections that one gets a sense of what he believes, and he doesn’t talk like a friend of the free market. During last week’s Republican debate, for example, he was asked about his past praise of single-payer health care and replied, “As far as single-payer, it works in Canada, works incredibly well in Scotland.” This answer was both antithetical to free-market thinking and profoundly ignorant.

Trump “In Talks” to Go On FOX News Monday Night

Since the Thursday night debate in Cleveland, Donald Trump has launched a war with FOX News.
Donald Trump and the Fox News Channel are in talks about Trump possibly appearing on Fox on Monday night, according to a source with knowledge of the talks.

Trump has been lambasting Fox for days, ever since he was challenged in last week’s GOP debate

Report: Bill Clinton Reassured Jeb Bush: “This Trump Thing Will Be Taken Care of”.

Note: This the second public report where the Clinton people say Jeb Bush would be the easiest Republican to beat in a general election.
“It’s said that Hillary Clinton wants nothing to do with Donald Trump. To most they just call him a clown, but privately they’re afraid of him. The Clinton team doesn’t fear Jeb Bush because they know what they are up against and that lack of fear is mutual among the Bush operation as well. They both run in similar circles politically and financially, so it’s a choice of shades of the same color and that’s how they want to keep it.”

Megyn Kelly: I didn’t ‘attack’ Trump at the GOP debate

“I’m sure nerves were high as they were for all of the candidates. He felt attacked. It wasn’t an attack,” Kelly said. “It’s okay with me that there’s some consternation. He’ll get over that and we’ll be fine.”

I am enjoying the Trump spectacle for as long as it lasts. I do not admire or respect him. I do not even particularly like him. But I like that he is upsetting the game that the GOP is playing. We think we get to decide in the primaries. But I know we really don’t. Brett Baier gave it away Thursday night in the very first question” “Are you aware that you are here in the very place WHERE THE RNC WILL GIVE THE NOD TO THE NOMINEE?” Not the people, not the delegates, but the RNC. That is how it is going to work this time, with all the rule changes since 2012. Don’t kid yourselves. Trump is upsetting that game, and I am enjoying it for as long as it lasts. He might have been the only one on that stage that isn’t a part of the game. I haven’t found a single one that I can trust.
