Another Fauxcahontas

Bogus claims to American Indian blood are nothing new on the Left.

The claims of Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) to having Native American ancestry were debunked in 2012; she repeated the claims in her 2014 autobiography.

Ward Churchill, an activist professor who drew national attention for describing 9/11 victims as “little Eichmanns.” In 1992, Churchill claimed to be one-eighth Creek and one-sixteenth Cherokee; in 1993, he said he was one-sixteenth Creek and Cherokee; in 2005, he said he is three-sixteenths Cherokee. In 2003, Churchill claimed to be “an enrolled member of the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians”, which group then published an official statement saying, “Mr. Churchill IS NOT a member of the Keetoowah Band.” Genealogists have found “no evidence of a single Indian ancestor” among 142 of Churchill’s direct ancestors.

  1. “Mr. Churchill IS NOT a member of the Keetoowah Band.”

Which means they’re still looking for a new bass player.

  2. Apparently if you’re a liberal, you can identify as any race or tribe you want to identify as, and no one may gainsay you. But why do all these clowns choose the Cherokee to identify with? They are one of the native American tribes that prohibit gay marriage. Did these twits know this when they decided to identify as Cherokee?
