If Iran cheats …

2015_03 Israel Iran map

April 2, 2015: “A beaming Iranian foreign minister emerged from the meeting rooms in Switzerland to announce that all of the theocracy’s major demands had been met. According to the new provisions released on the nuclear deal, Iran will get to both keep active its centrifuges and receive sanctions relief.”

But not to fear … Barack Hussein assures us, “If Iran cheats, the world will know.”  Of course we will.  The large and radioactive MUSHROOM CLOUD will be a dead give-away.

    • Wow, Pete. Didn’t expect you to be awake at this hour. I thought I was the only insomniac up. This is a tough one, tonight. I even tried reading some 2-year-old article from First Things Magazine comparing the moral degeneracy of Lena Dunham’s Girls show with the moral lessons in Jane Austin’s Mansfield Park. I could have written it in one paragraph, but this author babbled on for 6 pages. That should have been enough to put ANYBODY to sleep. But no dice. Hope you’re doing better.

      • I read that article, and I thought it was excellent. But then I’m a Jane Austen geek.

        • Ok, I was kidding around a little. Truth is, I loved the article because I actually really like the moral lessons in Mansfield Park, and this author went into some pretty amazing analysis of the characters. But the essay was a little long for my taste, and let’s face it, Lena Dunham’s grasp of her own moral vacuity (vacuosity?, vacuousness?) doesn’t deserve much print, even if it is a wider cultural phenomenon. Maybe I was just looking for a harsher judgement of her, though.
