There has been some discussion as to the authenticity of the graphic I posted Monday from Obama’s Muslim soulmate,ValJar. The truth is,I don’t know. As stated,it’s just something I picked up from Facebook. I do not operate as a professional news disseminator who,by the standard of ethics,should get something verified by two independent sources before publishing anything. Granted,the journalistic standard today is bash conservatives,even if you have to make things up and completely ignore the criminal acts of favored liberals. Watch how the Lyin’ Brian story is reported on any news outlet,save Fox News.
It may not seem like it,but I spend an awful lot of time poring over websites looking for things I feel may be of interest to you. As I have stated ad nauseum,I lack the skills of Chrissy,Grunt or Mindful. I can’t take several sources,as CtH does, and add graphics complete with bold print and italics. I can’t photoshop the way Grunt does in his unique personal style. I just do the best I can with what little I have. If it’s not enough,so be it.

Update:apparently the word that the king would personally fly a bombing mission was just a rumor.
Make no mistake… Jordan is still ruled by Sharia and abuses women and Christians,but they don’t suffer atrocities against their soldiers lightly. I can’t find the side-by-side of King Abdullah in his flight suit next to Pres. Momjeans on his two-wheeler, but it’s a pretty stark contrast.

Great as it is to think of the King riding into battle at the head of his troops, consensus among the folks who sound like they know what they’re talking about over at Ace was that although the King had fighter pilot experience, you really have to stay in practice on those things, and he probably hasn’t. Moreover, after the bombing, the Jordanian jets did a fly-by over the home town of the incinerated pilot, while the King was making a condolence visit there. That’s what I heard, anyway.
I also heard the Jordanians used napalm. Returning fire for fire; they take their eye for an eye seriously over there.

I was one of those who said the ValJar quote was an obvious fabrication, but please let me unwind that a li’l bit.
First off, I’m an ultra-conservative Internet news addict, and though I have more than a hundred conservative sites bookmarked, there are only about five I consider “must-see” on a daily basis: my home page AoSHQ, Betsy’s Page, Drudge, NRO and this. A big reason is your marvelous contribution to Polination. The days you don’t post, the site is much the lesser in your absence.
Chrissy’s a genius at collating withering political overviews with full graphics and charts and links, though I’ll be honest, I’m not a big fan of the long blood moon and dietary advice stuff. Your funny graphics, however, are always creme-de-la-creme, and most days I save at least 2 or 3 to my hard drive for posterity.
In addition, you’re one of the few outside of Taki’s or Amren to dare call out the black bullshit and chaos in America today for what it truly is, and that makes you even more precious.
But that ValJar quote? C’mon, man, you’ve seen enough to know that these guys, with the possible exception of Van Jones, NEVER come right out and admit their goal is the complete overthrow of the United States of America. They ALWAYS cover their tracks in opaque misdirection, so if you find a quote that lays out their nefarious schemes, then file that amongst the emails granny sends saying Obama just admitted he had gay sex with Larry Sinclair.
And here’s the bigger problem … it affects the credibility of this site as a trusted source. I know people sometimes get snookered in, but this quote was so patently phony I’m sure that a couple seconds of analysis woulda tickled your Spidey senses. In other words, you’re one of the sophisticated ones, not an LIV, and you can discriminate between our Overlords’ honest crimes (of which there are more than enough) and Lucy’s football. Left-wing sites plant this stuff to discredit us with its dissemination.
And I respectfully can’t allow you to say “Well I’m doing the best I can, sorry.” That’s a Brian Williams response. I have enough respect for you to believe a single misstep won’t cripple your ongoing efforts to entertain and enlighten us as few others can.
I can hardly wait to see what you’ll tickle us with tomorrow, and all the tomorrows to come! (BTW I had a paper route at 2 a.m. for five years in Thousand Oaks, where there’s NO SNOW! I feel ya, Dawg.)

Jane, the Regressives “NEVER come right out and admit their goal” is certainly true, and that’s the very reason I wondered about the Jarrett quote’s validity right off the bat. The early date suggested young Val might not yet have learned to be so politic (see: Michelle Obama’s college thesis for — rough — comparison), but the ValJar quote was suspiciously specific, like the “using freedom of religion against them” part.
However, I wonder what you want from Pete here, what you’re augering for in your complaint. D’ya think the graphic should be removed now, so all the subsequent discussion about it points back to something that’d be missing?
It’s not like Pete is arguing for its authenticity; when I questioned it, he acknowledged his source and that he hadn’t done any further digging. Like he said, he passes things along, friendly fashion; don’t expect the layers of fact-checking you get at CNN, MSNBC or the WSJ. [Pardon me while I recover from exhausting, side-splitting laughter.]
Furthermore, we’ve kicked the graphic around in comments, discussed its validity, or lack thereof, and joked, darkly, about its (to paraphrase Dan Rather) “maybe false, but valid” message. This honest discussion surely testifies to PoliNation’s “credibility.”
Just to be on the safe side, for the record, I’d better add, I’m pretty sure the Lincoln quote I posted wasn’t 100% accurate.

If Pete had ever claimed to be an actual news source, as opposed to an amateur blogger who aggregates and comments on current events — with liberal doses of humor, scorn, and mockery — then it would be fair to criticize him for occasional technical inaccuracies. But Pete has never made any such pretensions, and I think everyone who reads him regularly understands his style and takes what he offers in the spirit in which it’s intended. 😉
