This guy makes militant atheists sound reasonable

This western Islamic religious leader teaches that saying Merry Christmas “is worse than fornication and drinking alcohol and killing someone, because you are approving of the biggest crime ever committed by the children of Adam’s sin.”  Of course, he’s got the Christian doctrine about the Trinity and Christ’s birth wrong, but that’s nothing new.

America Plummets Past Nigeria on the Way to Achieving Zimbabwe Status in the Well-Being of Our Poor

Well, this is one way to solve an immigration crisis. The “Give me your tired, your poor…” line from the Statue of Liberty is only meaningful if we can truly boast that our poor are better off in some way from the worst slums and ghettoes of the third world. Otherwise, who would want to come here? According to a recent urban youth well-being study, we have already lost out to Africa in this struggle. As Diogenes put it, recently, President Obama and his suicidal sycophants in the Black Community share much blame in this:

The destruction of black America under the leadership of Barack Obama is unprecedented since the abolition of slavery, yet they follow blindly, yelling racism.

In the Vocativ graphic below, urban Baltimore is rated below Ibadan, Nigeria in all three categories of well-being. Hat tip to Diogenes’ Middle Finger News Service for the story.

Anti-Fracking protests being funded by Russian oil company

Burning Springs

Those of us who have seen FrackNation already knew that Big Oil was funding the anti-fracking whack-jobs who refuse to look at decades of successful fracking wells and test data.  But wow … to have this factoid turn up in the leftie New York Times?!  Shocking!

“Before stepping down in September as NATO’s secretary general, Anders Fogh Rasmussen said, ‘Russia, as part of their sophisticated information and disinformation operations, engaged actively with so-called nongovernmental organizations — environmental organizations working against shale gas — to maintain dependence on imported Russian gas’.”

The Russians deny it, of course, but I’m not impressed.

“Russian news media, she added, were curiously active in covering and fueling opposition to fracking in Pungesti. RT, a state-run Russian TV news channel aimed at foreign audiences, provided blanket coverage of the protests and carried warnings that villagers, along with their crops and animals, would perish from poisoned water.”

On Black Friday, While Media Covered Shopping Stories, U.S. Public Debt Topped $18 Trillion

From Zero Hedge: Last week, total US debt was a meager $17,963,753,617,957.26. Two days later, as updated today, on Black Friday, total outstanding US public debt just hit a new historic level which probably would be better associated with a red color: as of the last work day of November, total US public debt just surpassed $18 trillion for the first time, or $18,005,549,328,561.45 to be precise, of which debt held by the public rose to $12,922,681,725,432.94, an increase of $32 billion in one day.

debt to the penny Dec 2014
It also means that total US debt to nominal GDP as of Sept 30, which was $17.555 trillion, is now 103%. Keep in mind this GDP number was artificially increased by about half a trillion dollars a year ago thanks to the “benefit” of R&D and intangibles. Without said definitional change, debt/GDP would now be about 106%.

It also means that total US debt has increased by 70% under Obama, from $10.625 trillion on January 21, 2009 to $18.005 trillion most recently.

And now we wait for the US to become Spain, and add the estimated “contribution” from hookers and blow to GDP, once again pushing the total debt/GDP ratio below the psychological 100% level. Read more at Zero Hedge.

Hope everybody had a wonderful holiday. We enjoyed being at SD’s for dinner (her first attempt) and everything was fairly edible. The menfolk consoled each other as the beloved Bears got whupped by the Dee-troit Lyins. We did a little Christmas shopping online and will probably do the bulk of it that way. Given what the commie pukes are doing at malls around the country,it’s just as well. Some liberal asshat tries to stop me from going into a store and one of us is going to jail.

I’ve read the movie reviews CtH has been posting, and I’d do one on one of my favorite holiday movies, Ernest Saves Christmas, starring the late Jim Varney, if most people didn’t think it was so hokey. It’s one of my favorites only because I saw it in the theater with a very special little lady. When it comes down to it,memories are what count. My other favorite is the 1951 version of Scrooge starring Alistair Sim. I watch it every Christmas Eve with a cup of egg nog or hot cocoa and the lights off. It’s just one of those things.

Ferguson is still making news and, sad to say, even a cynic like me thought they’d give this crap up after a while. Apparently some white folk are fanning the flames with phony rhetoric that the deeply-rooted hatred of whites is bubbling forth. These people seem incapable of rational thought and facts have no relevance. Much of this has been fomented by Obama, Holder, Sharptongue,et al. I’m sure they’re tickled shitless. I’m posting some related articles and I haven’t been on a good rant for days. So be prepared. I have some really funny pictures, which I want to share with you,as always.
