But Americans do.

Interesting note from my days of studying angelology (which, natch, borders and sometimes overlaps with other, er, areas):
In lore, It is said that dogs bark and howl when Sammael (“The Severity/ Poison of God”) passes by. Dogs actually have quite a reputation for being able to identify spirits of questionable nature. (And there is not a single entity more “questionable” than Sammael. Even the sources that say that he still works for God identify him as a very, very . . . . not-good.)
There is a hadith (sometimes claimed as “false” these days but that’s mighty convenient for American audiences and possibly Taquiyya) that states: I heard Allah’s Apostle(P.B.U.H) saying; “Angels (of Mercy) do not enter a house wherein there is a dog or a picture of a living creature (a human being or an animal).” [Hadith – Bukhari 3:515]
Sammael is also sometimes said to have fathered the first art critics. As funny as that may sound, if it’s all put together, it’s a wee bit disturbing . ..
This text, along with some others, what part of what led me years ago to conclude that there was something seriously off with Islam and its not-really-a Prophet.

What about movie critics? Because that would make a lot of sense, too, actually. 😉

I think movie critics would most def. fall under “Art Critics”! And yeah, explains a lot!

Just my snark opinion, but my dad (a very talented coach) used to quip, “Those who can’t do teach.” I’d continue this and say, “Those who can neither do nor teach critique.”
