We’re just a week away from the midterms. The interwebs will be bubbling with political commentary. It would be safe to assume that our hits would go up as they did in 2012 as people gather information and see what other people are saying. It was with this in mind I had my tech guy work on my machine last Friday. After the hour I had prepaid for he told me there were so many problems he’d have to take it home and clean the viruses up overnight and bring it back Saturday. When he reconnected it,he said he had to remove the AVG anti-virus program because it was infected and replace it with Avast. He then charged me an additional fee,which I was not prepared for. After he left I found,much to my chagrin, that it was little better than before and in some cases worse. There was a notice on the screen that the anti virus program was slowing down the speed of my computer. Unfortunately,I need protection so there’s nothing I can do about it. I e-mailed and called the guy and have yet to hear from him and probably won’t. I don’t mind paying for a service,but when people seemingly take advantage of your not knowing about things,much like a crooked mechanic who takes advantage of non-auto-savvy victims, I get really irritated because liberals take enough of my money for nothing as it is. I will try to do the best I can to continue posting,however long it takes,but were it not for DW’s checking facebook to keep up with her family, I’d be tempted to just disconnect the computer completely.

Illinois and the Dangers of Democratic Rule
The incumbent is on the ballot, but in an important sense the election is a sham. Though Pat Quinn has taken the oath of office twice, the de facto governor-for-life is Michael Madigan, the Chicago Democrat who has been House Speaker — and dominated state policy — since 1983, except for a two-year interruption when Republicans had a majority. So the choice is really for the state’s second most powerful official.
The republican gubenatorial candidate,Bruce Rauner,is polling close to Quinn.He doesn’t have much of a chance.The entire state is ruled with an iron fist by the Cook County politcal mob.

Will midterm election be fair? Don’t bet on it
Voter fraud probably gave Mr. Obama the victory in 2012. It may well prove to be crucial in deciding the tight race to capture the Senate in 2014.
As many as one in six of the millions of illegal aliens in the U.S. are registered to vote, and surveys of this group have shown that nearly all of those who do vote will vote “Democrat.”
Here is how the elementary math works. Immigrants, like black and Hispanic people already here, tend to be poorer than average. So the “Democrats” court them and subsidize them with money taken from wealthier white Americans.
Fewer people pay high taxes than pay no taxes, so every “Democrat” measure to transfer wealth from the few to the many wins Mr. Obama more votes than he loses.
It is as simple as that.

“Election officials said Monday afternoon that 61,735 total votes had been cast, two-thirds of which had arrived by mail but had not been officially counted until early voting began.

The progressive activist organizations MoveOn.org and MAYDAY.us picked a losing video as the winner of their campaign finance-themed video contest, despite the fact that a conservative group’s video actually received the most votes.
But on Monday, MoveOn named an environmentalist video called “This Is Your Country,” produced by MAYDAY.us as the contest winner, despite the fact that it only received 99 votes. MAYDAY, of course, co-sponsored the contest itself.
“The leaders of ‘pro-democracy’ groups chose a video that got 99 votes over a video that got 7,590 votes — because the latter was about liberal Tom Steyer and the former was against fossil fuels,” Kerpen said. “It speaks for itself.”

Alice Woodruff told WTNH-TV that she confronted her neighbor at gunpoint while he was performing sex acts on her rescue pit bull that is kept on an 800-pound tow chain in her backyard.
“I thought my dog had killed somebody because I saw a man underneath her,” Woodruff explained to WTNH. “I started to scream. I had a citronella candle and I threw it at him, screaming ‘get off my dog, you have to get out of here.’ He said, ‘No, today is the day we are going to spend the rest of our lives together.’”
