THEY OFT DO GO ASTRAY

The best laid plans, that is. I had planned on doing a redneck special this morning and starting the daily earlier than this. We had a lot of errands to do late this AM then I had to buy DW lunch. I’ll really try to do it tomorrow, since I have a lot of stuff you might find entertaining. Until then on with the show.

Tom Steyer’s Bad Investment: Dems in Senate Races

In the last 18 months, hedge fund billionaire and global warming activist Tom Steyer has spent over $42 million of his personal fortune backing national candidates who share his views about climate change and opposing those who don’t.

So far, it doesn’t appear to be working out very well for him.
This is the guy who pledged $100 million to dems to stop the Keystone XL pipeline from going through.

Government employee unions openly fear GOP Senate win
Federal government employees, those folks who can’t be fired, who got a paid holiday on Monday and whose pay is higher and work hours lower than the rest of us, are worried about a GOP-controlled Senate. Joe Davidson writes in the Washington Post:

“If the GOP takes over the Senate in November, they will have carte blanche authority to push through a series of damning proposals that have been successfully blocked for the past two years,” said J. David Cox Sr., president of the American Federation of Government Employees. He cited proposed cuts in retirement benefits, workers compensation and student loan forgiveness. (snip)

Speaking of unions, I see their claws grabbing onto the ebola crisis.

“You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.” (Rahm Emmanuel and adopted motto of the current administration in WH)
Ebola Patient Zero was in the same apartment with others with fever and chills, was driven to the hospital twice by people and no news flashes, other than they are in quarantine, about their contracting the Big E. Yet, nurses who had protocols and many, many times more safeguards than those who were living with Ebola Man for four days, managed to be the ones that got infected. It was first reported there was a breach in the medical records data system that kept the doctor from making an accurate assessment. Then reports were ‘updated’ that there was a breach in the nurses protocol. Now the reports are the nurses having inadequate preparation,
“The nurses said they were essentially left to figure things out for themselves as they dealt with “copious amounts” of body fluids from Duncan while wearing gloves with no wrist tapes, gowns that did not cover their necks, and no surgical booties.“ (://gawker.com/dallas-hospital-was-totally-unprepared-for…).

The nurses were inadequately covered but substantially more covered and protected than those he lived with for four days and yet his fellow apartment mates show no signs yet? They are still in quarantine but not taken to hospital with symptoms?
“Never let a crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.”

There is an Ebola crisis. What opportunity presents itself that this current administration thought they could not achieve? First, one needs to read up and learn who Rahm’s brother is and his connection to The Affordable Care Act. The end goal of ACA is single-payer, government controlled medical care. This being American with some Americans who remember individual liberty still around it has been a hard go getting implemented. Think on these things:

The Labor Union was rooted in Communism and still is today; no matter how much it is denied and hidden it is not too difficult to find an abundance of documentation of their alliance with both the current Socialist and Communist Parties. This is not name-calling or slander. It is right in front of us but we don’t want to face it; sort of like the husband who knows the wife is cheating but just won’t believe it. Now, we are not saying all union members are communists. We are saying the agenda of political machine of organizing IS.

A substantial amount of monies and efforts have gone into unionizing nurses for many years but in the past six years professional agitators dressed up as business professionals have been paid to travel around the country to convince nurses they will be better unionized; same with other medical professionals. Why now the push? Remember the roots and current associations of the Labor Unions. Why so important to unionize medical personnel and why does this push coincides with the efforts to implement the ACA? Will it make it easier or harder for complete transition to government controlled healthcare? Will it make it easier for Americans to think, to truly believe government controlled healthcare is what they want? Why or why not?

The very organized, very highly funded, much supported by very powerful powers-at-be union organizers, have initiated stories on nurse social networks and news sites that nurses are blasting all around and sharing with each other. They should be concerned. There is a serious crisis with Ebola. Their lives are in danger. Will they band together, with the help of the ever-ready union, to fight to be protected? Will they be pawns? Does the Union Machine give a rats ass about the nurses? Really? The Union comes to town and this time around everyone signs on. Then, after in place, paying dues, less individual flexibility with days, hours, shifts, will find out they were distracted from the core of crisis and they were used to further usurp the United States of America and their monies going to everything the individuals are morally against. They will unionize and find out too late that coup for labor union was one of the final nails in Lady Liberty’s coffin. “You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.”

Yep, and be used to further an agenda by the unions. I fear for my daughter who is an er nurse in an urban area. Scary sheeet. And for the first time in her life I think she is ready to say yes to unions after all that is being pushed by them (without it ever being said is union-generated report.).

I’m glad the article included text excerpts, so I didn’t have to actually WATCH this tripe.

Speaking of “supposed” campaign claims … Abortion Barbie has bragged on her “two” abortions.

One of them was only a “supposed abortion” … to remove an ectopic pregnancy. An embryo that has implanted in a Fallopian tube has no future apart from growing big enough to burst the tube and kill itself and the mother. Ergo, it was neither an elective abortion, nor a medical procedure that was ever illegal.

The other was a “real abortion” … done to remove the inconvenience of a potentially handicapped child from the family fold. If anyone had a “supposed disability”, it was that unborn child. In some circles, she would’ve been called a “blessing.”

IMHO, the only person with a real disability in this discussion is Wendy Davis, who is not merely morally challenged, but possibly paralyzed in her soul.

I would embed a pic of one of her paintings, but they’re all large images.

So, instead, here’s a link to my Daily Doodle from last Dec 30, proving that I can be just as good an abstract painter as an autistic 5yo. Well, okay, nearly as good. But, I can only do computer graphics; they didn’t let me use real paint because I tend to put the working end of the brush in my mouth.

Obama Stiffs Kids At School Named After Him For $5,000-A-Plate Dinner With Dem Donors
Will President Barack Obama be able to take a few minutes out of his hectic fundraising schedule to grant multiple requests from students by visiting an elementary school named in his honor?

Of course not. Instead, he’ll be too busy schmoozing with well-heeled Democrats at a dinner that costs as much as $5,000 per person to attend.

The schools principal is a pathetic liberal loser.just the kind Barry likes to turn his back on.

Appeals court unblocks Texas Voter ID law
The State of Texas can use its new voter ID law again in next’s month’s election, a federal appeals court ruled Tuesday, putting on hold an order a district court issued just last week barring enforcement of the law.

“Based primarily on the extremely fast-approaching election date, we STAY the district court’s judgment pending appeal,” 5th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals Judge Edith Clement wrote, in a ruling joined by Judge Catharina Haynes (and posted here). “This is not a run-of-the-mill case; instead, it is a voting case decided on the eve of the election.

Sadie Robertson Steals The Show On Dancing With The Stars Switch Up
Instead of being paired with Mark Ballas, Robertson danced with Derek Hough to the Charleston, a dance from the 1920′s. She looked adorable, just like a flapper straight out of a 1920′s magazine, and her long limbs helped her make the routine perfect. Derek and Sadie scored 36 of 40 points, giving them the highest of the evening, but leaving fans (and us) feeling more like they deserved a perfect score. Check out Sadie’s routine and tell us wha you think:

MITCH MCCONNELL ON HILLARY CLINTON: ‘WE’RE GOOD FRIENDS’
    <img src="” alt=”” />
How maddening….we need McConnell to defeat Grimes for a chance at a senate majority and we all know how he likes to join the dems’ circle jerk. This is him sucking up to the presumptive next preezy.
We’re good friends. She’s doing what candidates for president do,” McConnell said in an interview with MSNBC’s Kasie Hunt that aired on Wednesday. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is campaigning for McConnell’s opponent Alison Lundergan Grimes Wednesday in an attempt to shore up her campaign.
“One thing I think is noteworthy: Allison Grimes doesn’t have any trouble announcing she voted for Hillary Clinton, even though, apparently, she doesn’t want to say she voted for Barack Obama,” he stated.

Of Course: Obama Won’t Name Holder Replacement Until After 2014 Midterms
Numerous publications close to the White House have reported that Labor Secretary Tom Perez has emerged as the leading candidate to replace Attorney General Eric Holder. That Perez has a documented and repeating history of dishonesty, racialism, and radicalism shows that this administration feels unrestrained by conventional political wisdom. That the White House is dropping his name before an election should demonstrate to every Republican that Obama is fundamentally transforming politics in corrosive ways that the GOP seems ill-equipped to contain.

They will push him through during the lame duck then extend their middle fingers to show how much they respect the new republican majority.

This is my home town! My folks used to live in Cayuga Heights. My mom was looking out her living room window one day when one of these nuisance deers laid down, gave birth, glared at her through the window, then sauntered off with her newborn in tow.

I love this bit … “Three of the 77 tubal ligation deer gave birth to fawns,” Curtis said. “These three deer were recaptured and later were given ovariectomies. All three had ovarian anomalies, and at least one experienced tissue regrowth post-surgery.” ::snort::

“Even after the surgical removal of their ovaries, one of the three deer became pregnant again. It is not clear how this was possible. One supposition is that some ovarian tissue may have escaped the scalpel and regrown into a functioning ovary.”

IMHO, this is just God expressing His opinion of idiotic libtards in much the same way He has done repeatedly with that global warming thing.

I was going to suggest that at least vet students got some surgical experience, but then I got to wondering how many vets are ever called upon to do tubal ligations or ovarectomies? Don’t pet owners who don’t want breeding to happen simply remove the whole apparatus? Speaking of which, why DIDN’T they just spay the damn deer while they had them on the table? Oh wait … libtards and sex. Never mind.
