The indoctrination continues

A California school district assigned 8th graders to write an essay about the Holocaust describing “whether or not you believe this was an actual event in history, or merely a political scheme created to influence public emotion and gain wealth.”

2014_05 Holocaust denial assignment

The 18-page assignment instructions included three sources that students were told to use. One of the three is an Australian holocaust denier site that says gassings in concentration camps were a hoax and that Israel just wants money. Another section in the packet says Anne Frank was a fraud.

The district claims they did not any receive ANY complaints about the assignment from parents, teachers or administrators. I think they’re lying. SOMEBODY broke this story and who is more likely than an outraged parent who got the brush off?

I’ve BTDT trying to talk to arrogant educators who thought parents were good for nothing beyond fund raising. They all but patted me on the head while looking down their noses and informing me, “WE are the professionals. WE know what’s best. Go make cupcakes for the bake sale.”

The district has responded to the public outcry and says they’re removing the assignment. But let me guess how likely it is that they paid any attention to a PARENT who complained.

  • The Interim Superintendent is named Mohammad Z. Islam; I am not making that up.
  • The district’s spokeswoman is named Syeda Jafri. A google search suggested she’s from Pakistan.

Look. I’m not being racist here, just pointing out a fact. The two biggest Holocaust-denier groups are white supremacists and Muslims. And we all know which of those two groups the Obamacrats are all cozy with, don’t we?

Here’s my suggestion for a better assignment:

Write an essay about Anthropogenic Global Climate Change describing whether or not you believe this is a scientific fact or merely a political scheme created to influence public emotion and gain wealth.

Yeah. That’ll really fly with Commie Core. Not.

That’s the subject line of an email Dearest forwarded to me today for vetting. I thought it was an urban legend because the phrasing of the alleged Obama quotation was nothing like the way he speaks. Turns out I was right … and wrong.

In March 2009, the Obama administration actually DID propose forcing wounded vets to PAY FOR THEIR OWN SERVICE-RELATED MEDICAL EXPENSES.

Obama Wants Our Vets to Pay for Their War Injuries, but Illegal Immigrants Get Free Medical Care

However, the Obama “quote” in the email is SATIRE.

“Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice? It doesn’t compute. I thought these were people who were proud to sacrifice for their country. I wasn’t asking for blood, just money. With the country facing the worst financial crisis in its history, I’d have thought that the patriotic thing to do would be to try to help reduce the nation’s deficit. I guess I underestimated the selfishness of some of my fellow Americans.”

May 6 is the Republican primary election in Ohio, North Carolina, and Indiana. Tea party and conservative groups are hoping to hand GOP leaders like John Boehner a rebuke. Their goal is to scare the establishment to straighten up and fly “right” (less liberal).

Once Orange Slush  gets past his primary challenger you can expect him to push amnesty very quickly.

In North Carolina’s U.S. Senate race, the establishment insists upon Thom Tillis, Speaker of the State House. The tea party and Ann Coulter are pushing hard for challenger Dr. Greg Brannon M.D. There are six other candidates, including contender Mark Harris. Tillis must win over 40% to avoid a run-off. A conservative in a run-off would probably beat Tillis in a low-turn-out rematch in June.

In Ohio’s 14th C.D., challenger Matt Lynch is the favorite of tea party groups against Boehner’s colleague, the incumbent David Joyce.

In Ohio’s 27th State Senate District, conservatives are hoping challenger Caleb Davenport  can retire State Sen. Frank LaRose, who is leading a movement for Republicans to compromise with democrats.

In Ohio’s State House 76th District, Sarah LaTourette is the daughter of former Congressman Steve LaTourette, who is leading an effort to defeat tea party candidates with his “Defending Mainstreet PAC.” The PAC’s initial funding was from Democrat donors and labor unions. Therefore, promoting write-in candidate Linda O’Brien is a tea party priority.

Later, on June 10, challenger David Brat trying to knock off  House Majority Leader Eric Cantor in Virginia’s 7th C.D. If Cantor survives that primary challenge, it could make June 11 the start of the final push for amnesty.

Just thought you’d like an update on primaries instead of the Benghazi conspiracy for a change.
