The bar mitzvah ceremony that formally, publicly marks this event is a relatively modern innovation that is not mentioned in the Talmud. So, while Jesus automatically became a bar mitzvah when he turned 13, if there was any kind of occasion to mark the event, it was most likely a private family thing.

I have checked 555 years of Nisan-April on the Hebrew-Roman calendars. This date matching thing happens at weird intervals. If there’s a pattern, I don’t have enough years yet to discern one! But so far, it’s running only 2 to 4 times per century that Nisan and April days and dates match. And for some peculiar reason, the first day has yet to fall on a Monday, Friday or Sunday! I’m working on the rest of the years from Jesus’ birth to the present. And yes … it is as tedious as it sounds! So color me obsessive or something! LOL
