Benghazi: Lies and Damn Lies

Benghazi victims over WH

According to recently declassified documents, General Ham knew within minutes … MINUTES … that our Benghazi consulate was not only under attack, but that it was a TERRORIST attack.

General Ham immediately informed General Dempsey, the two of them immediately informed Secretary Panetta, who immediately met with President Obama.

Got that? Before the attack was an hour old, President Obama KNEW our ambassador and his staff were under attack by a well-armed terrorist group. He then ordered that NO ASSISTANCE be provided to the consulate staff, four of whom were killed.

Benghazi help near by

For weeks after, he and many of his aides (including then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and then U.N. Ambassador/now National Security Advisor Susan Rice) REPEATEDLY told the public the violence had been the result of a protest over a YouTube video gone awry.

  • Obama and Clinton told the victims’ families … to their FACES … that they had no idea it was a terror attack or that the consulate was in serious danger.
  • They also publicly apologized for it to the very people who had fomented the murderous attack and saw to it the maker of the video (which fewer than 400 people ever saw) was arrested.

After Obama’s re-election campaign was over, evidence emerged that the video story was a Big Fat Lie and the Obama administration then apologized for having knowingly and deliberately LIED to American voters at a sensitive time in the campaign.

While being questioned about this, Hillary Clinton shrieked, “What DIFFERENCE does it make?”

Got all that?

  • People died.
  • Obama lied.
  • The media helped cover it all up because the election was a few weeks away.
  • And Hillary Clinton thinks the murder of four Americans is a big yawn.

The people Clinton apologized to for the YouTube video are the same people who pranced around the streets, celebrating and photographing for viewing on the internet the fact that they had kidnapped, tortured, and murdered a United States Ambassador.

As usual, flying by the seat of my britches. Every time I clear my cache of crappy political news it seems to fill up again by the next day. I promised to bring some better stuff today, and I always try to keep a promise made.

The Senate GOP came up with a brilliant plan to extend unemployment benefits for 3 months by extending sequester cuts by a year, into 2014. Did you get that? The dems get 3 months now for cuts everybody knows will never happen. They screwed Reagan,HW Bush and W with this same trick. You’d think after sniffing a water-squirting flower a few times they’d figure out its a trick. Hey,it’s only money, right?

I gotta start posting earlier…Chrissy keeps upstaging me

Media whore Mark Kelly brags about their PAC raising $11 million to elect gun-grabbing libs while holding his talking, windup Gabby doll.Don’t she look stupid?

Secretary John F Kerry (who served in Viet Nam) presents Russian Prime Minister Lavrov with….potatoes!

Maybe he said: how do you make vodka out of these? What an embarrassment.

The Bad Guys Come In

Fallujah without al Qaeda

Charles Krauthammer on “The O’Reilly Factor”

“[President Obama] said he ended the Iraq war. No. It was [General] David Petraeus who ended the Iraq war, and we won. The civil war was over. Al Qaeda was utterly defeated and indeed humiliated…

“We were in a position to conclude a strategic agreement where Iraq would have been our ally. [President Obama] had three years to do that and he failed…

“The fact is we’ve given Iraqi air space over to Iran. We’ve given essentially the running of Iraq over to Iran, because when we leave a place and we create a vacuum the bad guys come in.”

By wasting the sacrifices our troops made in Iraq, Obama has betrayed us in the worst possible way.

Planned Parenthood’s Real Business

PP touts the claim that only 3% of their business is abortion. But they get this number by counting every incidence of service as a unique patient interaction.

E.g., Every woman who gets her monthly birth control pills from PP counts as 13 per year, one for the appointment and 12 for each prescription.

This graph eliminates all PP to non-pregnant women. It shows a very, very different story.

Jan 13, 2014: Pope Francis: Baptism is the long chain of faith [1:19]

Pope Francis formally welcomed 32 babies into the Catholic church, pouring water from a shell-shaped dish over their heads and pronouncing their names one by one, as beaming parents held their children, dressed in white satin or silk gowns and other finery, in the chapel whose ceiling was frescoed by Michelangelo.

“If they are hungry, mothers, feed them, without thinking twice. Because they are the most important people here,” he said in the same chapel where he was elected as the first Latin American pope.

In his homily, Pope Francis emphasized the greatest and most important legacy that parents should leave to their children is the faith, following the unbroken chain of tradition begun by Jesus Himself.

Although He “had no need of being baptized,” Jesus, “with His body, with His Divinity, in Baptism blessed all the waters, so that water might have the ability to give Baptism.”

The first baptisms by the new pontiff occurred on the Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord.
