  1. “Do you hear the people sing?”
Singing the song of angry men.
It is the music of a people
who will not be slaves again.

    Join the crusade.

  2. I draw my “outrage” line short of cops and Secret Service backing protesters away from the northern fence to the White House and arresting them when they refused to leave.

You can practically spit on the place from that sidewalk. They don’t let ANYBODY gather there for good reason. It is just too easy to hide weaponry in a crowd like that and too easy for someone to lob something toxic, explosive or incendiary right on the WH porch.

I dislike Obama intensely, but I respect the need to protect the person holding the office and I especially WANT that building protected. It stands for too much that matters to all of us.

I am also disgusted with the NYC vets who deliberately violated a long-standing curfew on public parks in NYC so they could make a political thing out of getting arrested.

The NYC park curfew helped stop violent criminals and drug dealers from keeping decent folks and kids out of the parks. That curfew has nothing whatsoever to do with President Stompy Foot’s petulant closing of national war memorials.

If we’re going to lay claim to the moral high ground, we need to actually LIVE on the moral high ground.
