Obama’s Wednesday economic speech ended with this vapid series of metaphors:
“America, we have made it through the worst of yesterday’s winds. And if we find the courage to keep moving forward; if we set our eyes on the horizon, we too will find an ocean of tomorrows, a sky of tomorrows – for America’s people, and for this great country that we love.”
Tweeted by iowahawk – “Ocean of Tomorrows”? Great, now we’re basing economic policy on 1968 Strawberry Alarm Clock albums.
He failed to mention the catastrophes on the horizon that will result from the oceans of debt he’s inflicted on America’s people and this once-great country he hates. However, he did manage to blame ALL of his failures to date on … what a shock, NOT … conservatives who have cooked up a whole steaming pot full of “phony scandals.”
Tweeted by James Woods – “Phony scandals”!!! Tell the loved ones of the dead American Heroes of @Benghazi that those men were a “phony scandal.” Say it to their faces.

“Oceans of Tomorrow” sounds like a failed Department of Education plan.
You’re thinking of the Plateau of Despair.
Twirling, twirling towards freedom! [:16]
