Lerner signed the letters herself

BOOM!

Becky Gerritson, the Wetumpka Tea Party witness in the video below, said her IRS letter was signed by Lois Lerner. Two others have said the same thing.

Something to hide

TWEET: The fact that @DavidPlouffe is attacking @DarrellIssa so hard is strong circumstantial evidence that Obama personally ordered IRS targeting.

Tea Party leader tears up during IRS hearing

During her opening statement in front of the House Ways and Means Committee Tuesday morning, Alabama Tea Party President Becky Gerritson teared up as she concluded her remarks, reminding the panel that she was not looking to score political points.

Gerritson said that the government targeting of her Tea Party group was “un-American” and a “willful act of intimidation.”

“I’m not interested in scoring political points,” she said, her voice breaking with emotion. “I want to protect and preserve the America that I grew up in, the America that people cross oceans and risk their lives to become a part of, and I’m terrified that it is slipping away.”

Her speech was welcomed with applause in the hearing room.

The Obama EPA sent personal information on about 80,000 farmers and ranchers to extremist left-wing environmental groups.

The information included individual names, email addresses, phone numbers and personal addresses.

Besides invading their privacy, this action threatens the health and safety of agriculture producers and their families and damages the security of our food system.

In South Dakota, 500 farmers and ranchers had their information made public.
“This information details my family’s home address,” J.D. Alexander, a Nebraska cattle farmer said. “The only thing it doesn’t do is chauffeur these extremists to my house.”

    • This kind of stuff is just outrageous. I used to work in a bank years ago, and privacy and confidentiality were required by law, as well as good manners and bank policy. It is astounding that this is going on.

      • And what kind of federal law requires the release of such information, as referenced in the next to last paragraph? Good grief – it is more than a full time job trying to keep up with all of the crazy laws they have passed.
