The plan was to do a Grudge when DW and I finishd our Christmas shopping this morning.Then I heard about the unspeakable tragedy in Newtown,Connecticut today.Having grandchildren the same age as most of these tiny victims,I cannot imagine the grief those families feel.
The Grudge can wait.There are things far more important.
The Lord is my rock,
and my fortress, and my deliverer;
my God, my strength, in whom I take refuge;
my shield, and the horn of my salvation,
and my high tower.
The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Sing for joy, O heavens! Rejoice, O earth! Burst into song, O mountains! For the LORD has comforted his people and will have compassion on them in their suffering.
