Campaign Hurricane E-mails

These are reputed to be genuine Obama and Romney campaign emails from October 30, 2012:

Greg-

After all Barack has done in office, and after all you have done to build this campaign, we can’t afford to watch everything slip away on Election Night.

But the other side has out-raised us-our opponents have $45 million more than we do for the Final Stretch…. And none of us has ever seen what a barrage of money like that will do.

That’s why we need to do everything we can in the last days, and why we still need your support.

And, until, tomorrow night, any donation you make will automatically enter you to meet Barack on Election Night!

We can either give it our all in these final days, or wake up on November 7th wishing we’d done a little more.

Don’t wait!

Supporting this campaign once more will move us closer to victory, and enter you to win a trip to join Barack on Election Night.

Thanks, Michelle

Greg-

Tonight, Ann and I are keeping the people in Hurricane Sandy’s path in our thoughts and prayers.

I hope that if you can, you will reach out to your neighbors who may need help getting ready for the storm-especially your elderly neighbors.

And if you can give of your resources or time, please consider supporting your local Red Cross organization – visit www.redcross.org to get involved.

For safety’s sake, as you and your family prepare for the storm, please be sure to bring any yard signs inside. In high winds, they can be dangerous and cause damage to homes and property.

I’m never so proud of Americans as when I see how we pull together in a crisis. There’s nothing that we can’t handle when we stand together.

Stay safe and God bless,

Mitt Romney

  1. What A Hoot

How tacky. How shallow, How adolecent. The media goes on a gush about the president stepping it up as commader in chief of the Sandy aftermath –Never mind that he is not CIC over civilians or over States. He is CIC to the military; to the rest he is President. Anyways, back to tacky, shallow, and adolecent — The media praises his Sandy CIC efforts and now he sports a new swag and a bomber jacket of some sort. Now that he has assured the country, as to relief efforts and as CIC, with his encouraging words, “We leave no one behind” he has the creditiblity to wear his new swag and jacket with respect. NOT. In a word, BENGHAZI. In two words, AMERICANS DEAD. In three words, THIRTY-SEVEN MORE OBANDONED. (Only good at playing CIC)

Never mind that natural disasters are the responsibility of the local and state authorities, that the feds are not supposed to stick their noses in unless asked, and that WHEN HE WAS ASKED FOR HELP WITH RED STATE DISASTERS (e.g., Texas wildfires), HE SAID NO.

  2. There is no contest. Benghazi.

If John McCain had been President would he just sit there and not send help to the consulate in Benghazi? Would John McCain refuse to upgrade security in Benghazi when requested? Would John McCain fail to send the terrorism intelligence units, you know the ones that would have got investigators into Benghazi in a lot shorter time? In fact would John McCain have dithered for so long before sending those reinforcements to Afghanistan? Would John McCain as POTUS said nothing when Iran was slaughtering its own people in a brutal fashion?

The truth is that the Libyans were let down by the current POTUS as much as the American people. The Truth is that Iranians, ordinary Iranians were let down by this current POTUS. If it had not been for Angela Merkel he would not have protested the death of Neda.

I addressed this as John McCain rather than Mitt Romney, because I believe that Mitt would have done exactly the same as McCain… he would not hesitate in making those decisions.

It is the dithering and the colluding with people associated with both Iran and Hamas that is the real problem. Colluding with Muslim Brotherhood provides a separate headache, because that in fact enhances the progression of the Ummah through political rather than violent means.
