I know there are some who complain that we never comment on what men wear, so why are women so scrutinized, but the fact is the First Lady should look like a LADY first.
This one looks like a woman who shops in the pre teen section one day, and wears clothes too small the next because she does not want to admit her true size.
Maybe black women are just not so conscious of how they look from the rear. I was in a store yesterday and standing next to a woman who was wearing pants so tight they showed off every big bump and roll. She was looking in the mirror and trying on a Jacket that was obviously too small, she could never button it.
    I don’t get it.

EEK, that red thing is the worst. I never saw it before. At first I thought maybe she got up and the napkin stuck her dress, or maybe it was photo shopped. I can’t believe someone designed something that butt ugly.
Meech definitely needs a rear view mirror in her bedroom.

That top photo was from her leaving the stage after delivering a speech. I too thought it was some trick of light, which is why I zoomed in on it so tightly. What kind of nitwit wears black panties and no slip under a red dress that’s thin enough to need a slip?! (Never mind SKIN tight and wrinkled!)

I’ve heard she doesn’t allow designers near her, just has her people send “measurements” which, from the poor fit of her clothes are none too accurate. I watched her for a couple years, until my eyes just couldn’t take it any more, and it seemed to me she is one of those women who gets bloated badly 2 weeks a month, but hasn’t the sense to accommodate this fact in her wardrobe choices.

I’ve also seen SO many of her angry faces, even when she’s smiling and waving at a cheering audience, that I have to conclude she is a real witch, one of those people whose bark is bad and whose bite is worse. My guess is her aides are either cowed or else hate her, so nobody tells her how bad she looks.

They say BHO is protected from negative press. My guess is MOOOCH is also. She had a distinct and unattractive panty line in the first Christmas pics, when she and the girls went out to greet the arrival of the White House trees. Since then, she’s repeated it many times. If she’d seen even ONE of these photos, and had any brains at all, which she must having actually passed the bar exam, she’d have DONE something to make sure it didn’t happen again, wouldn’t she? Unless she really hates everyone and does it on purpose. I suppose that’s a possibility too.

You can take the trash out of the ghetto but you can’t take the ghetto out of the trash.

  4. when you compare her to the Dullard Sub-Prime here in Australia, she actually dresses quite well for a trashy person.

Oh you poor nation! ::brrr:: … read an interesting factoid yesterday. According to somebody or other, Aussies have more cats per capital than anyone in the world. 🙂

  5. I have never seen Michelle Obama, except in photographs, but based on what I’ve seen, I think she could be a pretty lady if she just knew what to do with her hair, wardrobe, and makeup. There’s NO reason she has to look so awful. She looks awful because she chooses to.

We never had to endure this kind of national embarrassment with Laura Bush or Nancy Reagan or Barbara Bush or Pat Nixon. They always looked nice, and it’s not because they were all flawless or had faces and bodies like supermodels — they didn’t. They just knew how to make the most of what they had, and more importantly, they made sure their wardrobes, hairstyles and so on were appropriate to the occasion and to their station in life. They never, ever looked like slobs or floozies or freaks. Never.

I’m really, really looking forward to having Ann Romney as first lady.

      • Your daughter may be right, and that may well be Barry’s strategy — or shtrategy, as Michelle would say. However, my personal opinion is that a lovely, tastefully-dressed first lady does more to make a president look good than almost anything else. Mitt Romney is a hunk, especially in white tie and tails, but with his beautiful wife at his side, he looks even better. No matter how stunning Ann looks, she does not detract from Mitt in the least — she only makes him look more handsome, more successful, and more presidential.

Does that sound sexist? Sorry. It’s still the truth.
